My wife and I visited this club. They had a sufficient amount of different girls to accomodate most tastes. It was a safe place for couples to go to and enjoy a good time. The ages of the girls ranged from barely legal to about in their 40s. They were not pushy and made sure that my wife was comfortable before they approached to sit with us. They also waited for her or me to initiate any requests for dances. We both had a great time, specially in the V.I.P. room.

This establishment is less like a strip club, and more like a spa. Nevertheless, one of the activities offered is a private lap dance. "Private" in this case really does mean private. Your mileage will vary, but you might find one of the best experiences here, compared with any club. I was not rushed or pressured or manipulated as is often the case in other clubs; for that alone, I give a decent rating to "Kokai."

Things must have changed dramatically for the better, because the last reviews from October 2007 through February 2008 call this club a waste. My experiences here on two visits within the past two months were very good. I rated the dancers 7, because they are not the best-looking around, but some of them really aim to please. I elevated the value rating and the overall rating because I got complete satisfaction for not too much money (no suggestions that I should pay extra to get extra) on both visits. The most recent visit led to follow-on activity that was beyond one's fondest hopes.

I can't believe it; I read the previous review and still went to the club, as it appeared there was way more going on there than at the Montana Club. Bad move. $15 cover, ridiculous... Like the review says, "the guy at the door said we got 5 girls here already, and more coming". There were 5 females working all right, but not a one of them was anything approaching a 3. I will not be able to wipe the vision of two fat legs in the air and the warm jello jiggly thighs for a looong time.

Looks like the place is set up to do some business but on this weeknight it was horribly dead. Buyer beware.

BYOB, liquor store next door, that's really the only appealing thing about this place.

I must be a masochist... I went back. I had been at the Montana Hideaway, and there were no new girls there to be had, so I decided to see if PP had any new girls. I went in, challenged the owner with a "do you actually have any dancers here tonight?" question, and was told yes, there were 7 girls working. Okay, so I paid the $10 to get in and went inside to find the same dark room, with no girls on stage. The manager-type said that the girls would start dancing in a moment, so I sat down and played a few video games, and then played a few more, and then... I asked the manager what gives? He said that he would get someone. So I went and sat down at a table and a rather large woman asked me if I wanted company -- no, if I wanted a big fat ugly girl, I would go to a bar and pick one up for free. Then a decent girl sat down and asked the same, so I said yes. She explained that the girls were only there to talk and negotiate lap dances, not to get on stage. She did dance once and she wasn't bad. So I give her an 9 (Breanna) but the rest of the club a negative 8, so overall the club is a 1. If you do go, find Breanna, she is friendly, and gives a very friendly lap dance!

I go to El Paso a couple of times a year, and was previously let down when the Platinum closed. So when I recently saw that it had reopened, I was pretty excited. Unfortunately, all of the cute little latina and white girls have been replaced by ugly and old hags. It is apparent that the owners agree, because they now keep it dark on the inside so that you can't really see the girls until they get close -- and then it is too late. Avoid this club for now!

A large club with a good size stage in the center of the room. There is another stage in the back but it was not being used. Fully nude stage and lap dances. BYOB & smoking is allowed as they are outside the El Paso city limits. There is an elevated VIP private dance area blocked from view by high walls which would be a good thing except the areas are patrolled buy bouncers. And the entire time I was there a guy was sitting in the dance area, I don't know if he worked there or if he was a customer ... it was kind of strange. I would think that on off nights, this was a Saturday, there would be more freedom and even higher mileage available if the bouncers weren't there.

I actually would have given the club a higher rating except for one problem ... the Dancers. This night, and maybe it is different on other nights, the place looked like a weight watchers clinic. I don't mean slightly chubby, a little meat on the bones, or thick girls (which I actually like) I'm talking fat, overweight, obese. I think there were a lot of lower tier rejects from the city clubs there (I would imagine the hot ones are going to Zebra or RP or still at Jags)There was one slimmer hotter girl that I did go to the vip with and the experience was great.

The club does have potential for high mileage but there just needs to be hotter dancers there.

The Pure Platinum Club is newly reopened and I was hoping that it would be a lively place, considering the laws within the city limits. I went on late Saturday and this place was dead, three girls and about five customers. The girls did little to start conversation, mainly flirted with the DJ, and only danced there set and went to the back. Even management did little to make customers feel comfortable. However, they did have a VIP area that cost an extra $20 to enter. I might have tried it out but the girls had a bad attitude and did not seem to care about the customer. I was really disappointed. The club has a lot of promise but, that night, it was a major bust. I'm not planning to return.
