I was in Mitchell on business about a month ago and decided to check out the local talent. Given that Mitchell isn't a big town I didn't expect the Kongo to offer much and I was mostly right.
4 girls dancing that night though 3 of them were above average. There was a Russian blonde there I'd seen at other clubs and she has a hell of a body along with being a great gal. First I'd seen her sans panties and she was as sexy as ever.
One girl was working hard for after hours fun.
I was warned NOT to take the main road back through town (and past the Corn Palace) home due to the police. Take the bypass even if you have to double back to your hotel on I-80. I recommend this.
Anyway, privates are $20 and they watch the touching pretty closely. It was a really laid back place and not all that busy. I'll be going back the next time I'm in town.
The Kongo has really went down hill. Combine the ancient dancers and the pesky police and you have a recipe to stay away. There is an occasional hottie, but they are few and far between. Drinks are still cold and service is OK. Overall I would have to give an favorite a thumbs down.
I consider the Kongo more of a bar with strippers than a strip club. That being said, I was pleasently surprised during my last few visits in July 06. The beers are cheap ($2.75 for a microbrew on tap) and the out of town girls were pretty hot.
There is one stage with pole and rails, jutting out as a T into a pit. The girls don't waste anytime and quickly go full nude, even spreading they legs and ass cheeks wide to give you a better view.
A lapdance room is new this year, several couches with a black sheer curtain blocking it from view of the bar. The dancers charge minum $15 plus $5 for the house - pay in advance. Decent dance but no touching allowed.
The quality of the girls varies greatly, but generally much better than it used to be several years ago.
ONe of the best strip clubs in SD -- full nude -- and get some contact. THE place to be when pheasant hunting season starts ---- many more girls and crazy!
