Stopped by the old Sandy Jug, now the Pirates Cove, or has been called this for some time now. Short and sweet, everybody was really nice and accommodating, but lack luster at best. Girls are average but really nice. Bartender is attentive, but with few patrons all she has to do is ask...Disappointed visit, but at least they are trying. Girls won't stick around if more people don't come in, so the talent level is low. Keep at it, I may try back another time.

Stopped at Pirates Cove Friday, which was interesting. The building is shaped like a whiskey jug. Inside kinda looks like a set from a David Lynch movie, with lots of pirate trappings. The girls were better looking than I thought for such a dive bar, but not great. The other customers were an odd mixtures of locals, lesbians and couples. Friendly bar staff and clean restrooms.

My friend and I went in around 2 am on a weeknite. The place was somewhat busy with 3 cute girls rotating on stage. I am not sure if they offered private dances. None of them seemed to be doing that. Of course, it was probably the end of a long night for most of them. The girls were attractive and somewhat friendly and was a great place to end our evening. I felt it was a very comfortable atmosphere. Seemed like a very comfy neighborhood bar feel.

Weird place. This used to be the "Sandy Jug" years ago, and from the outside the building is still shaped like a jug of moonshine. Inside there's one small stage, a bar, some video poker games, a small DJ booth, and a small private dance area behind a curtain. Most of the girls are kinda alternative, but not the attractive hot alternative chicks like at Devils Point. They are mostly in the 4-6 range, some overweight, some really "earthy" like you would expect to see at Saturday Market. Girls do 2 or 3-song sets. Seems to have a lot of regulars who just sit at the bar and the dancers drink with them. Didn't see any private dances going on.
