Tuesday afternoon I also visited the Dolphin. Not very busy, but had six attractive girls. Most of the girls here are 21+ (older than the average Jiggles girl) and some(like the always nice Emma) have been here for many years. Besides Emma, there was Lexy, and the incredibly busty Jordan. Jordan looks like she stepped out of a Russ Meyer film. I first got a regular couch dance from one of the girls for $20 (which is like a clothed lap dance), but then I decided to try the $40 VIP dance in a different area with no bouncer. There the dances were still clothed, but mutual touching was possible. Much better action than the regular couch dance, and more private. No Jiggles, but still enjoyable. YMMV.



Was there yesterday. It had been a while since I have been here. The new remodel with the new VIP room is nice. A friend of mine who is a waitress there says that the VIP room is more private but is no different than what you get at the regular lap dance area... so I did not partake. The Girls were nice. There was 4 different bachelor parties happening at once so it was a little rowdy and busy. Over all I was there with a Birthday party and it was enjoyable. Drinks are expensive so beware.

Met a girl outside the club who was smokin' and told me she worked there and what her schedule was. Decided to give it a chance. Kinda hit and miss place. Some really hot young girls but some way past their prime. Not likely to go back since Ricks and Fox's in Washington have normally taken care of me and I'm bias to the style of dances I get there.

I'm pretty sure this is the right club- Portland has a habit of multiple clubs of the same/similar name, but this appears to be the Dolphin that we went to from the map location.

I went with a large group over a weekend to Portland for a bachelor party weekend, and one of the last places we hit our second night was the Dolphin (II?). By this point, we were kind of tired, and the Dolphin wasn't really any good, anyway.

PROS: lots of seating, multiples stages. The least crowded/cramped place we'd been to, as some of the clubs are really just bars where there happen to be stages with naked chicks on them. This, at least, appears to try to be a strip club that happens to serve alcohol.

CONS: This club is WAY the hell south of downtown Portland; it didn't seem that far on the map, but it was a $25 cab ride (with 6 guys, granted) from the Acropolis where we'd been before, itself fairly far south. When we headed back to downtown Portland (staying at the Ace Hotel) it was a $35 cab ride from door to door.

Also, the decor is pretty much carbon copy Deja Vu, and the women likewise: many have that older, more tired look, not like the younger, hotter, SuicideGirls.com types that frequent the downtown Portland clubs. There was a couple of decent looking women, but it felt kind of sad because most of the girls weren't really that hot, their stage shows were anemic, and as with all Portland clubs, it's not about the lapdances. I think the rule with all Portland clubs is "no mileage". When you can at least ogle some pierced, tattooed hottie, that's tolerable, but I found this club pretty "meh".


All in all, it was a mediocre club; maybe it has hotter women in other shifts, but we were there on a Saturday night. And, for visitors- or even locals, what with gas prices being so high- the out of the way location from downtown Portland is a big minus.

OK, made the trip and no real beauties, but no dogs either. Nothing to write home about, only one stage working and I decided to see if anyone would come over and talk to me, none did. The dancers don't seem to strike up any conversations with someone sitting at the bar, unless you're a known customer. Not too busy with only about 10 customers and the girls didn't seem to interested in seeking additional sources of income. Will probably give it a few more trips, hopefully it will come around. But I am not holding my breath.

I worked as a dancer at the Dolphin for about two years, up until mid-May when I graduated from college and left Portland. It is the nicest place for a dancer to work in Portland, on par with Dolphin II and Stars. The atmosphere is clean, safe, and enjoyable for dancers who don't want to participate in illegal extras (although I've heard they sometimes happen in the VIP room, it's difficult to find a girl there that does them because she would be fired when they found out). They trust the girls here, too, unlike some places I've heard of where girls are accosted by customers with no repercussion to the customer.

The Dolphin is a gentleman's club, not a bar with a pole like most strip clubs in Portland. There are three stages, and all three run on Friday and Saturday nights, when there are 20 or more dancers working. The girls are all really nice, to each other and to the clientèle. There is a wide variety of dancers in appearance (tall, short, blond, brunette, redhead, etc), and 90% are gorgeous. The bar staff are really awesome, but only if you tip them, and despite drinks being expensive they're worth the money because of how stiff the drinks are made.

Most customers seem to love this place because of how friendly the girls are, and how they'll enjoy the evening and party with you. Despite the constantly fluctuating group of new dancers who work there, there is a group of dancers who are Dolphin girls- you can expect to see a few of them every time you walk in the door. Also, despite being a 21+ club, dancers who are 18-20 can work at the Dolphin. Due to OLCC regulations, they cannot sit at customers' tables, but if you like the young, gorgeous, and sweet girls, you can get private dances from them.
Overall, this is a place I will likely visit whenever I visit Portland. Not only because I worked there, but because I love the atmosphere, it's a fun place to hang and party, and the girls are not only awesome dancers, but amazing people. Give them dollar bill showers, and they'll love you forever. :)

Went there tonight for the first time on my way through. The fun part was the participation of the other dancers as cheerleaders. The dancers were getting lots of tips. They didn't push private dances, but I did partake. It was virtually no contact even in the VIP section. The problem seemed to be that there was only us in there so the bouncer was able to keep a sharp eye. Otherwise a fun night.

Saturday afternoon I dropped by the Dolphin for a minute, just to see the selection. It was a decent selection (always seems to be nice girls here). Stayed to tip Emma at the rail. Didn't have time for dances. It wasn't crowded, but seemed smoky for some reason. I still haven't seen anyone use the VIP area.

Yes there is a 5 cover charge, but remember the bar only makes money off your drinks and food, not the ladies. The ladies pay the bouncer and the waitstaff, and sometimes the house, but usually not. these girls aren't on contract or leasing space, they work for the dolphin.

Go see Summer(seasoned dancer but amazing, and loves swinging couples), Dreamy, Natalia, ELL, and all the other girls.

WEDNESDAY IS LADIES NIGHT, NO COVER FOR ANYONE(usually all weeknights except friday), and $2 off all girls drinks no matter what.

THursdays in novemeber(2006) is bedtime story night. Haven't been yet, but looks like two girls get on a bed and do thinks you'd see in porn.

as i stated before friday and sat nights are the shit there, HARD ROCK MUSIC to rap, to pop. when the dollar dances come up, watch the girls that stay on the stage, this is your only chance to see two girls work the same pole at the same time. we saw some edgy stuff last night, like insinuated girl girl oral...the works man.

GO and go tonight and make sure you vocal chords work, cause you gotta yell for the free shots and free vip cards(work for the rest of 2006) then you cna buy them for $100 for all year, NO COVER.

This place is one of the nicer looking places around Portland. Lots of traffic around it and a fairly popular area so if you're looking to sneak in and not be noticed, you might want to venture elsewhere. Easy to find. Huge Dolphin out from; something to do with the name. Actually it reminds me of the DVs I've been in. Some young cute girls, I think a lot from the community college or just out of high school and trying to get some cash in their pockets. Dances are so so and YMMV. I got nothing to right home about and makes me look forward to returning to the Seattle soon. At least this place isn't a shack with a pole in the middle like some other PDX locations.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon. Only four girls, and of those, only one I would consider getting a dance from. Very poor for the Dolphin. I did get a dance from Emma, who has been working here for years, but still looks young and attractive. Usual Dolphin clothed upper body dance. Service was good.

I visited on a Thursday around 7:30 pm and stayed until 11. There were 12 dancers doing 2 song sets on 2 stages when I arrived and that maybe increased to 14 girls by the time I left. This club is hard for me to rate because some things were awesome, others not so great. No cover charge, but I was told there is a 1 drink minimum. Service and food were outstanding from a really energetic and fun waitress. The two stages working each had a spinning pole, which made for some cool tricks. The lighting is irritating, with a huge strobe light on each stage that alternates colors and intermittently blinds anyone in the way, including the dancers. One dancer told me that they hate it too, but that management refuses to turn them off. I didn't like the stages either. The level at which the dancer works is only slightly elevated, maybe a foot or two above the floor level and surrounded by a 4 sided tip rail that is elevated to about 28 inches, effectively obscuring part of the show unless you are right at the rail leaning over. The rails are too narrow for the dancer to walk on or really perform any tricks, so it really takes away from options in a performance. And God do they have enough chairs? There are so damn many chairs and tables everywhere it's like an obstacle course.

The girls ranged from 6 to 10, with most clustering around 7. One was a stunning petite blonde who I first met at Dolphin II during Miss Nude Oregon 2007. She is really cute and does a slow, erotic performance that blends in some wonderful pole tricks. She's also extremely outgoing and warm, a girl that makes you feel like you've known her all your life right away. I also had a good time with a delightful Hispanic girl who sat and talked with me most of the night. She is a very fun energetic dancer.

So Dolphin gets an 8 for the dancers, a 10 for service and friendliness factor, and a 3 for the strobe light and stage design. Oh, what the hell, it's all about the ladies so I'll probably be back.

I've hit clubs all over the west, and this little, explosive, four-foot-eleven, street-wise package of Thai spice sits right at the upper tier. Someday she'll owe me for putting my eyes out with those pencil erasers of hers. Until then I'll have to forgive her for the simple reason that she rocks my world.

Nice, more upscale club.Three girls dancing Sunday at 6 pm. Naudia was just an amazing, tall, tanned, gorgeous blond. Autumn was pretty hot also. The other girl Pixie looked good, but the other two got all the attention. Got a typical clothed, cleavage in face, ear-blowing, no-touch Dolphin couch dance from one of the hotties that was nice (and better than the usual clubs air-dance). I was told by an employee that they have opened a VIP area where the dances cost $40 but was more private and have more touching. Didn't have the cash to try.

I dropped by the Dolphin on a Wednesday evening, and it seemed fairly busy. There were about 8 dancers, most of them being very attractive (I would rate Brittany and Lisa highest). Most of them had great stage dances. Wanted to try a couch dance from a couple but they were always busy. This place is more upsacale than most Portland clubs, and seems to remodel every few months. The only real downside was it was a little smoky, and I thought the well drinks were a bit spendy.

Dropped by on Saturday afternoon, about six girls there. All the girls were nice looking, but the night shift gets the hottest ones. Got a couple of the couch dances from a gorgeous blonde. Couch dances are similar to lap dances except the girl has some clothing on and she moves on your body with her chest, arms, face...not really a "lap" dance and no good touching from most of the girls, and no touching at all from you.
Nice looking, clean club. Had a very delicious club sandwich and a huge amount of fries for a very reasonable price.

The Dolphin's not a bad place. Lots of young guys come in and hang out and are a little over the top but the night of the week or time of day contributes to this. Cute local girls. Lay out's much better than a lot of places in the Portland area. The big Dolphin out front's a dead give away for people who have trouble finding places. In Seattle I take clients to strip clubs but still haven't found a place in Portland I'd take them... maybe here in a pinch or Stars over in Beaverton. Best thing about this place is I'm not at risk to spend as much money as in Seattle. Lap dances aren't as good buy there is some nice eye candy.

Dropped by the Dolphin on McLoughlin in Milwaukie about 1 PM Saturday. Just three dancers at that time, Lexi, Pixie, and Heaven. Lexi was a great stage dancer and very outgoing. Pixie was a petite, tits-on-a-stick body, goth type. Heaven was blonde, and seemed older and larger (not the same as the Heaven at Jiggles!). Got dances from Lexy (decent contact for a clothed couch dance, YMMV) and Pixie (standard Dolphin couch dance, no mileage at all, just a lot of leaning with their body onto your upper body while they are clothed). Sat with Pixie for a while and just chatted (it was fairly slow at that point). Wait staff service was great, and the bathroom has been remodeled...no more trough!


Arrived at the Dolphin in Milwaukie at around 7:15 pm Saturday. This used to be my regular club, before discovering the lovely ladies of Jiggles in Tualatin. It is a very nice, more upscale club, with dancers in the 7-9 range while I was there. Got a couch dance from Emma (blonde, tan, 8. 5), who gave a very sensual dance, with her kissing my neck and shoving her cleavage into my face (they serve alcohol here, so they must wear some clothing as they dance on you). Probably the best contact you will get outside of a juice bar. Of course, YMMV.


Hopefully this bad experience is an anomaly, but I don't think so. Went in last Saturday at about 8 pm and saw only a couple good looking dancers, and several down in the 4 to 5 range. Not a lot of customers there or tipping, which the low talent level would explain. Seems like they've had an almost complete turnover among the dancers in the past 6 to 9 months, and not for the better. The club itself is still pretty nice, but with dancers like they had last week, I won't be back for a while.

Stopped in a couple of weeks ago on a Monday night. Pretty quiet as you’d expect. Five or six patrons maybe the six to eight dancers. The ’05 dancer of the year I forget her name but she has a marvelously lean fit body, and long dark hair) is there working her magic on the pole. I really love a good pole dancer, who can fly out like a flag. The level of fitness is remarkable. I saw a new girl (Austin – 27 days in the biz). Somehow we just hit it off with the eye contact at the tip rail. Anyway we did 4 dances, clothed but sensual, which is odd at a strip club but we had a great time. I never laughed so much in a similar venue in my life. Oddly she’s not a hot-body, or hard-body, or trashy, just the girl next door and a total sweetheart. The rating is mostly based on the time spent with Austin. The contact is non-existent in anything but the fully clothed dance.

I went here last night and was quite pleased. The strip clubs in Oregon are nothing like what you see in Las Vegas; however, with many choices, I would strongly recommend it. The dolphins has been one of my favorites in town since they seem to have better looking girls. It's just unfortunate that there's no touching.
