This bar no longer has dancers. The city of Mandan has stopped the bikini dancers in all bars in the city.
This place is a dive. Go across the river to Borrowed Bucks and watch the young scantily clad hotties there. It is better than anything you would see here.
Scarry.... Run Forrest Run! Go east to Fargo Northern Gentlemen's Club or Mpls. All booby bars in Bismarck & Mandan are closed. Oh well boobies at The Lonesome Dove.
I was here a year ago, it was bad then, I should have learned my lesson. It's a neighborhood bar with a stage near the back, no admission, cheap beer, no mileage but quality of dancers was so low that it didn't matter. Had one beer and went back to my motel room.
The city of Mandan is trying to close down this club and it's neighbor, the Silver Dollar. The ordinance which required them to move out of downtown was supposed to go into effect on June 30 but the clubs are fighting it. I stopped on my way through town on Friday night. I got in about 6:40 which was in time for Happy Hour so I got 2 beers for $3. That was the highlight of the night.
Four dancers on duty. One was decent, 2 average for this club which means poor, and one that should not be dancing anywhere. All made a quick stop for a tip when they got done dancing on stage. But they all went back to sit with their regulars right away. It may have been because it was early and they hadn't had much to drink. Overall it was a very weak experience.
They had a sign up looking for local dancers. I have a feeling that they are trying to go with local girls until the court case is done.
