They charge by the song, and not by time which means YMMV. The first girl to approach me told me some girls don't allow touching, but I did not have time to test that theory as much as I would like. Nobody bothered me to buy anything. I just got the occasional do you need anything, and while the club is a dive it is laid back. The 2 girls I talked to are from other states with better strip clubs. One looked older than she claimed, and the 2nd girl was cute, but was not a good dancer. No more VIP for her, at least not from me anyway. It is close enough that I will go there to get a dance if I don't feel like driving.

This is an okay club, but the Marines at the air station across the road probably don't write home about it. There's a stage that's not lighted as well as you'd like, and all the music comes from a juke box. The bar is adequate, but not everyone behind it knows how to mix a good drink. At least they know how to open a long-neck.

The girls rage from 5 to 8 with only a couple who looked like they might be 9's until they spoke to you. Then they dropped to 7's. Somebody needs to tell them to smile and at least act like they're having a good time.

The dancers are "ethnically diverse" here, and I did like that. Black dancers always seem more aggressive and tease a lot more than most of the white girls. But it was the first placed I've ever been with a dancer who was an Eskimo from Alaska! (I know, they supposed to be called "Inuits," or something like that, but she said shew as an Eskimo and she looked it.)

The "private" dance area isn't. There are four or five couches in that room and you have to be careful you don't step on someone's feet getting to your couch. The door has a window and a bouncer is always watching to be sure the girls don't do "too much." The dances are only topless, though occasionally you can sneak a touch below the waist.

Tobie's is open on Sunday afternoon's, making it convenient as a place to stop for a beer with no cover charge. Was there on Sunday on several occasions and never saw a girl I'd rate higher than "6." Friday and Saturday nights were the times for the good lookin' ones.

Still, it's a lot better than drinkin' alone.

They've been advertising "International Girls", that must mean someplace outside of Jacksonville. I've been there in the past and I have some of my most enjoyable moments in the couch room, $20 bucks goes a long way with some of those dancers, However on my last visit, it seemed more rundown and "ghetto". It's a nice setup, pool tables on the right as you enter, stage and seating area to the left, bar straight ahead. The older waitress is always very friendly. After my last visit and a couch dance from "ghetto" girl (she wasn't black, she only thought she was) I doubt I'll be back.
