Stayed only about 10 minutes or so. This place is near the airport so I said what the heck and ran through on the way out of town.

The club starts jumping around 10 pm according to the staff, so those with evening flights are not going to see too much. The main seating area is laid out like a old style theater (think dinner theater) and there is even an upper deck with additional seating and I think the dance area. Not sure if its just for dances (the DJ didn't say for sure). Before I'd seen clubs like TMC in Raleigh and Christie's in Greensboro I'd have called this a a good sized club, but now I'd say it's mid range with a lot of seating. Could see it being a little tight in here on a busy night. What I'm assuming is the main stage had an interesting keyhole-shaped layout and took up most of one wall. Looked like the dancers enter through a door on the back wall and down a small set of round steps. There's a second stage out in the center of the club and the upper deck looks directly down on it. The words don't really do it justice, and there are a lot of photos at their website that show the place off well. Basically, it's one of the nicer club interiors I've seen.

Sarah the bartender is very blonde and very hot. Thought I wasn't going to get a beer though because she couldn't find her bottle opener. A bouncer managed to locate one and the day was saved. Seriously, though, I know it takes a while for some clubs to spin up and it was cool that the staff were willing to shoot the breeze. A couple of girls were in the place in street clothes. Because I've ran into more than one group of FOSAD (Friends of Staff and Dancers) in my travels I never assume they're working there. One was joking about dancing for amateur night. Since I tend to get real and stage names at random I won't type it out. Her name began with an L, petite with reddish brown hair in a short bob, and when I commented that if she wasn't a dancer she should definitely consider it she mentioned she did in fact work there. Got a better look at her and holy shit she's hot. Too bad I was officially out of time by that point. If she'd said something sooner, I'd have broken a benny for a lapper in street clothes with her. Unfortunately, boarding time was right around the corner and I'd already had plenty of fun in Charlotte. Nice place. From what I could tell on a short stop its high ratings are well earned.

I'm not sure one should plan a visit here when in Charlotte. Club is a little small and is a bit too crowded. Excellent air dance available and also a VIP room. I was turned off by dancer's pushiness and crowdedness. Dancer rating is based on beauty not overall personality. There were a few dancers with some real attitude.

All in all club is clean and well lit and music is good.

My girlfriend and I went to the Uptown on Sat. night and found the place to be very couple friendly and there were several other couples there. The interior of the club is very nice. The "talent" ranged from 6-9 with most of the girls rating about an eight. Our waitress was very friendly and kept us readily supplied with drinks throughout the night. The mileage appeared to vary from dancer to dancer on upstairs lap dances so choose wisely.

I think this is the best place Charlotte has to offer. Day or Night always a bunch of girls working and always on average in the 7 plus range. (So that means there are a few girls that shouldn’t be, but aren’t there always.) I have always had a good time here and YMMV but VIP dances is worth the price here, but make sure you ask the price before starting as each dancer sets there own price. I have had girls dance for $25 a song and I have had girls say they charge $40 a song. If you looking for extras, I don’t think you are going to find to many in this place, but I am sure like any club if you try hard enough you and look long enough you can find it. It gets a good rating but there are some negatives to the club, you will find a few ROBs that charge you extra songs not danced, they have 3 for 2 dance specials, but really not worth it, the songs are all cut and it turns out that dance time is about one full song. Lastly, weekend nights it can get terribly packed and sometimes too crowded. Good for the club but hard to move around. I think at some point they may expand the club, which would be great and I am sure would always remain packed. This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Charlotte.
