Was just at Nexus for a bachelor party. The place hasn't really changed since I was there a couple of years ago. It's not located in the best part of town, but we were able to park close so that's no big deal. The club is huge, by DC standards, and friendlier than most. The club had way fewer patrons and dancers than expected for a Saturday night - our waitress, Cat, speculated that the Shamrock Festival that day was to blame.

Nevertheless, we had a good time. The setup is a large warehouse-sized room with a big stage opposite the bar. The patrons sit in cushy chairs around low tables. The dancers take turns on stage and circulate amongst the patrons. They will sit and chat with you for a bit, but will move on if you don't seem like you want a table dance ($20, nude). The dancers that night ranged from 6-8, but I know they have better. Not to say that some of the 8s weren't great - Jesse, in particular, was sweet and hot and friendly. None of us bothered with the Champagne Room or anything - DC is so strict with the no-contact rules that I've never heard of it ever being worth it.

Talk to you waitress and make sure all drinks get cleared through her, otherwise the dancers may charge drinks to your tab without you ever knowing about it 'til you see a huge bill at the end.

Nexus, because of its size and low-pressure, is probably the best DC club for a bachelor party, but I strongly recommend West Virginia with its full-nude lap-dances as an alternative, particularly if you are starting from suburbs west of DC.

checked out Nexus for the first time in a year or so and I was happy to see they had a number of fine sistas in the place. The girls are friendly and sexy. The decor is nicer than the other clubs in DC so you have some couches and soft chairs to sit in. They have big screen tv's, but there's too much light so you can't see many of the screens very well. But who cares since the girls are the main attraction. On this night at least, there were plenty of sexy ladies to look at and talk to.

Unfortunately, Nexus seems to be in a sliding decline. It used to be one of the best clubs in DC but now the dancers are not as good looking as before, the numbers of customers ane limited, the music mostly rap, and the decor is tired. There still are a few very good looking dancers, although they do not seem to stay for long due to the low volumn of business. Still, it is good for an enjoyable evening if you are discriminating as to which dancers give you table dances. The table dances are still nude, and dancers like Renee or Rio give the best dances found anywhere. Since business is slow, the dancers like to sit with the customers so they can get repeat table dances. Just tip them as if they are dancing about every 3rd or 4th song and you can have great company all night.

I was in DC out of town and my cab driver dropped me off at nexus when i told him i just wanted some drinks. Nexus IS a nice club. Large, comfortable, very attractive women. Didn't really want to be at a gentlemens club but went in anyway. Ended up having a really good time. The girls there were very friendly and made me relax. Many of them beautiful and smart. Good assortment too. You can find a girl of every flavor here!
