I visited Eden during a convention week. It was a Friday night and it was surprisingly unbusy - at least by Vegas standards. On the whole, the club impressed me, from an objective standpoint. However, in light of it's locale, it was somewhat disappointing.

Of course, the most important thing about a club is the talent. Eden did have a decent variety of quality ladies. I did not have issue with the number of good looking girls. However, when I reminded myself that we were in Vegas, it did seem a bit out of place. There should have been more and they should have been a notch or 2 up.

The other aspects were ok. Pricing wasn't TOO bad and the wait staff was attentive. The DJ was pretty good, nice variety of music. The chairs were a little uncomfortable but not amazingly so. In general, it was typical club fare.

When I think of Eden, I remember a club that would be top notch in almost any average US City. They were doing everything right and seemed to have a good idea of what it takes to run a nice club. But, when you consider that you are in Vegas, you find it a little disappointing.

I stopped in this club just to check it out since a friend of mine started managing here. The club was pretty slow for a Monday night, but it's definitely a nice place. They didn't put a girl on stage until some guests came in and sat down there. I saw probably 5-10 girls working, but there might have been more in the dressing room. My friend gave me a tour of the club, which was extremely private in the back VIP room. The club is definitely smaller than others in town, but has a much more private feel. Drinks were average prices for Vegas. I talked with a pretty blonde - from Russia maybe? Very pretty, great body. She told me it's been really slow out there lately. I spent some time with her before we did some dances. She must have wanted to keep me there since it's been slow, and she sure got lucky. I spent quite a bit of money. The dance was very sensual, and the dancer came in close for a couple of passionate kisses. This club was definitely up to par with some of the other upscale clubs in Vegas, it just needs to get the business there.

I had read online -- and it was confirmed by a dancer at the Penthouse Club -- that many of the dancers from Crazy Horse Too had migrated to Eden. I hadn't been to Eden since it changed from Striptease, so I figured it was time to check it out.

The layout is essentially the same as with Striptease. It's a fairly small club, though there are plenty of dark corners for potentially high-mileage dances.

I arrived on a Friday night around 9:00 p.m. It wasn't crowded, though it did become somewhat crowded as the night progressed. I had a few dances with Elle that were pretty good. Then I settled in with Selena -- probably for two hours or so. I avoided the private areas and leisurely did $20 dances along the wall until the money was gone (saving enough for my cab fare, of course).

My friend was celebrating his birthday. I asked where he'd like to go. He replied a club that's not in a bad area. Well, that knocks out almost all clubs in Vegas. I'm not really sure why he wanted to go to a "safe" place, but hell, it's his birthday.

So, we ended up at Eden on a Sunday night. Everyone knows Sundays aren't the most busiest or popular spot on the calendar. But man, this Sunday was in the Top 3 of worst ventures to a club. And I've been in some bad ones.

First of all, it's $30 just to get in. And that's just for a TnA club. But that's beyond the point. Next, we were there for at least 30 minutes and not one girl danced on stage. We weren't even approached by any dancers. And it wasn't like we were dressed like a homeless guy from downtown. We were well dressed and well mannered.

After about half an hour of watching the Grammies on the tele above the bar, the rotation finally starts. And after about 5 girls, the rotation began to repeat. Now, there were more than 5 girls in the place. I guess not everyone has to dance. And I'm cool with that. But we weren't attracted to any of these girls.

After less than an hour, we left. It was a strange trip back to the hotel. My friend said maybe he's just getting older and maybe a little choosier. Maybe this birthday was more of a reflection than celebration. No matter what the excuse or cause, this trip was definitely a total loss.

I give it a 6 only because I realize it happened on a Sunday.
