Stay away from this place. its a big huge ripoff. First you pay 7$ cover, then 5$ for a sprite, then 30$ to the house for the right to go in the private rooms. Then the dancers have their own scams each. The first girl i had was pretty in that librarian kinda way but danced in the private room like it was a workout so it did little in the way of pitchng a tent. the second girl was much more attuned to the lapdance concept. But she was a scammer. apparently i was supposed to just know she charges more than the other girls and when i calmly peacefully questioned the bill, she immediately started yelling across the club to the manager that i was "not paying me my money". she was a skinny dark hair girl named obsession. Steer clear of this place. Go west another hour to temptations in downtown KC. this place is just a big roadside scam trying to make as much money as possible onetime off passer thrus.
i will NOT go back ever.

I recently stoped at the Pleasure Palace (I didn't know the name until I found it on here - there's no name sign that I noticed) on a Sunday evening. It was still snowy out, and there were very few people there. But that might not have been because of the snow.

On the good side, the staff of the club seemed nice, the interior was homey in a way that people familiar with a variety of low-scale clubs would find pleasant, and the bathroom was immaculate (again, that might have had to do with the crowd). The cover was resaonable, there is no alcohol. There was a hot tub (not in use) that was intriguing. The private dance area was nice, with a fish tank, I believe (I didn't go all the way into it).

There were two main problems, however, that make it unlikely that I will return. First, there does not seem to be a set price for private dances. I guess it is possible this is a plus for someone who is a good negotiator, but I tend to just say OK and then kick myself for getting shafted later. The private room was not so private that a negotiated price seemed likely to work out so valuably.

The second problem, fatal to a club-going experience, was the dancers. When i went in, one dancer was on stage and another was sitting with a customer. The one on stage had a very pretty face - and the worst boob job I've ever seen. Her body besides the breasts was maybe a 4 or 5, but I literally couldn't approach the stage for fear of getting close to the breasts. When I looked to see who else might be getting on soon, I didn't see anything that would make me stay; and the threat of the other girl coming off stage and coming over to talk to me led me to get back on the road.

Maybe other people who have had good experiences have encountered different dancers. I don't see how they could have such a big pool of dancers given its size and location.

On a recent trip, I had the good fortune to stop at the Pleasure Palace. I enjoyed myself while there. Here is a summary of what I found on a Wednesday night:
6 girls working, ranging from 5's to 7's with a few different body types, and lots of natural breasts.
$7 cover and $4 drinks, juice bar. Friendly wait staff and bartender.
Decent variety of music, not being blasted too loud.
Poor lighting. It was very dim, and the lights that were on, actually PREVENTED you seeing the intimate details when the girls got fully nude on stage.
All the girls hustled for drinks ($10), and dances ($20 each or 3 for $50, plus a recurring fee to the bar of $20 per dance or a one-time "bucket" of $30) but were not too pushy.
I was feeling generous so I got a hands on lapdance from 5 of the 6 girls there. All of them followed the rules strictly, though there was no problem with bouncers peeping in. Most of the dances were good, and Angel certainly put forth the most effort, but I liked the dances from Taylor the best. Hers were slow and sensual.

Overall, I would advise others to check this place out.

I was on my way down I-70 and made a visit to The Pleasure Palace. It was a Tuesday afternoon, around 1pm. This club is easily viewed from the Interstate and is about equidistant between two different exits of the highway. I pulled into the gravel, yes, gravel, parking lot and parked a very short distance from the door. When you walk in the main door you have the choice to go to your left (a DVD/porno/peep show store) or to your right (the stripclub). You must buzz the door and wait for the bartender to allow entry. I waited….and waited…..and waited. No answer.

Went over to the sex shop and perused the ridiculously overpriced DVD’s (if you want some DVDs in this area, hit Boonville, MO – 5 for $20, including tax!). After browsing for a few minutes and getting bored, I tried the magic door on the other side again.

The bartender answered after about 30 seconds this time and told me $12 if I have a ‘normal’ driver’s license and $7 if I have a CDL. He went on to state that it was a REQUIREMENT that a soft drink be in front of you at ALL TIMES while at the club. I asked to see the interior of the club prior to paying and he said no dice. I forked over the cash and paid the cover. Big mistake. Only one overweight, overage and overwrinkled female was on a stage. The interior of the club was very basic, but then again, given the gravel parking lot and tin building that’s what’s to be expected, right? The staff seemed friendly enough, but given the surroundings, I quickly departed writing off my cover charge as an expense for my fellow readers of TUSCL. Perhaps one day I’ll make a return visit during the evening when the place is more hopping….if so, I’ll be sure to post a more detailed review.
