Bazookas continues to be a good bet for a good time.

This update is to report that Bazookas is planning to join the trend in offering Champagne / VIP rooms, really partition booths (2) about the size of a bathroom stall. Just two spots marked off on the back upper floor of the VIP area. No construction yet.

Talked to five or six dancers and heard a range of descriptions. One thing for sure NONE of the dancers knew what was going to be so special about dances there. Speculation ranged from $100 - $200 "bottle" fee (remember, this is an alcohol-free full stage nudity juice bar). Uncetainty exists if it would still cost per dance or whether the entrance fee was for a certain amount of time. Others had heard these booths were easily taken down for slow periods. Some dancers speculated that management would tighten up on regular VIPs and strictly enforce the no customer touching dancer rule which is often relaxed a bit by various dancers for regulars. Stay tuned.

This is a club that is always pretty consisent. It is a juice bar so you get full nudity on stage but not in the VIP area. Parking can be difficult but usually during the afternoon it isn't tough. Dancers are generally pretty good, never been when there wasn't at least 3 or 4 great looking dancers here. VIP dances can vary to pretty lame to a real heated dance, it's pretty dark in some of the couch areas and some of the dancers let your hands go anywhere you want. Not a bad place to spend an afternoon.

Stopped by here in the afternoon for a couple of hours. Cover was 12, and they gave me a couple of free drink tickets. There were probably only about 8 dancers, give or take, but all were between 6-8. The stage show is always nice. Two songs, first one topless, second is bottomless. Every so often they would leave the stage empty for a couch only dance ($15 during the day). Couches were very comfortable. I got a couple of dances from one very attractive blonde who really knew how to work her hips. :) After a few with her, I moved on to another gal, but I only got one dance from her. The staff was courteous, and the waitress was very prompt. They have feature dancers every once and a while, and the cover usually goes up. I would definitely recommend this club to anyone, even the ladies. Its much cleaner and classier than most, which the ladies do appreciate. I wouldn't consider this place a value experience, but its fun and never disappoints.

Have continued to visit regularly. As my continued high rating suggests Bazookas has remained a very good steady performer over the last several months. The first friday of the month often has fewer patrons early in the evening because of other events in BZ's (Crossroads District) neighborhood. Parking can be a problem; try the Bulldog Bar & Grill's second (marked w/ their logo sign) lot (the 'Dog is coporately related to BZS).

Another possible slow night is Sunday, yet many dancers who work primarily weekends will work F/Sat/Sun so you usually have a good range of choices. Unlike F/Sat, Sunday dances are $15 topless (vs $20) and most drink refills are free. Often, but not always the VIP lighting is even dimmer than usual and bouncer oversight is less intense than on busier nights. You'll not get "extras" as in out of state clubs but you may enjoy more TWO-WAY action.
