The recent reviews, it seems to me, are perhaps only applicable to the day time. My experience at night was that this place was very tame and the appearance of the dancers was mediocre at best -- while a few could qualify as cute, quite a number appeared to be reflect a troubling obsession with cosmetic surgery resulting in an appearance that was just disgusting, unless you are fond of the basketballs glued to the chest approach to breast enhancement. I sample laps downstairs from a couple of dancers, and these were tame...but you'd figure these reflected the open nature of that. I then did a "bed" dance with a dancer (April?) which was as enthusiastic as a trip to the post office. That sinking feeling began in the elevator ride upstairs as she jawed with another girl about boyfriend troubles. Frankly, after the dance, I told the dancer that the experience was dull (hey, she asked...). She got rather furious and yowled about how the girls who didn't follow the rules were ruining it for girls like her. It did not seems worth it to tell her that it wasn't about "extras" but her utterly lackluster performance. All in all, I'd put this visit in the older, wiser and poorer category.

Several recent visits, all on weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) nights. I've always avoided this club then because of the crowds, but with the economy down, the crowds are smaller, but the quality also seems higher.

More good-lookers who also give good bed dances. Less pressure to "go up to the third floor" -- but plenty of good reasons to go up there if you're interested.

My last visit was brief (but for good reason). Only visited with two dancers -- Talon (very hot -- recently won Miss Nude Minnesota) and Sara (also hot, and more perceptive/responsive in her dances). There were at least three others I'd have wanted to try.

Overall, Minneapolis is near an all-time high in club quality, with good experiences to be had here (at least at night; daytime is a bit more hit-and-miss), Choice, Dream Girls, and Rick's (At least daytime). Plus other clubs if you're interested primarily in looking.





I went there on a Friday afternoon. as usual I was one of two customers (not sure how the girls survive on day-shift). They tell me it gets crowded late at night. The place is still very expensive to get in - $10 cover, followed by a $9 dollar bottle of water. The girls can make up for the cost however, my recommendation is Nikki. She can certainly show you a good time and is very pleasant to caht with as well







The dancers at Deja Vu are anxious to get your money to the point of ruining the experience. Otherwise, it's a nice club. Many beautiful women, the choice of couch or table dances, nude or contact. The place itself is nice - clean and luxurious with a spacious game room that's more like a sports bar than a strip club. I recommend you go on busy nights. The dancers will have plenty of patrons to bother, which makes it lower pressure and more enjoyable to hang out. If business is slow, you will be constantly approached by dancers and given attitude if you're not constantly buying. Of course, it differs from dancer to dancer, but there's a lot of pressure and attitude in general. The drinks are expensive too and of course, you're always supposed to have one in hand. If money is a concern, watch the song count and make sure you you and the dancer agree on how many songs and watch out for half-songs. If money is not a concern, then I imagine this place would be great. You'll get a lot of attention from multiple dancers and have a great time chatting them up, buying them drinks and getting dances.

They have themed VIP rooms upstairs - S&M, jungle, etc... The dances there can be higher contact, but it depends on the dancer. The VIP rooms are expensive, so it's best to talk to the dancer and get a dance beforehand to make sure you're getting what you want.

There's no alcohol or smoking - city ordinances.

Given it's shortcoming, I can't resist but mention that the best strip club in the Twin Cities is the King of Diamonds, a bit of a hike as it's in the suburbs (prob 30-40 mins from downtown Minneapolis, 20 from St. Paul), but a much friendlier low-pressure deal with many good looking women.
