It is a shame that this landmark is not long for the world. After the recent shooting I am uncertain where people will go to find the latin flavor.. Its a dive kind of place but the girls are friendly and the drinks are pretty cheap..Its a concrete block of a building with a weird mix of people but hey what better to do when in Chelsea... If it ever reopens def. take a chance and check it out.. I like the talent and its a great place to practice spanish and portugeuse.

An Everett construction worker shot to death in a horrific late-night bloodbath inside the notorious King Arthur's Lounge was awaiting trial for allegedly threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend.

Authorities said Jeff Santiago, 28, a native of Puerto Rico, was cut down by multiple gunshots and two others were wounded just before 12:30 a.m. yesterday inside the Chelsea nudie bar by at least one gunman, who remained at large last night.

Chelsea police Chief Brian Kyes said no gun was recovered from the club, which was strewn with broken glass and toppled tables as an estimated 25 to 50 people dove for cover as music blared and bullets flew.

Last night, Santiago's murder didn't stop a boisterous crowd from returning to the seedy Beacham Street strip club, where some patrons claimed they knew nothing about the tragedy.

Stopped in a couple weeks ago. It was about 10pm. There were two girls dancing on the sunken stage. The front half of this place is like a dive bar. The back is a dive strip club.

I stayed for several rotation of dancers. The girls were pretty skanky and it seemed like they were getting uglier as the night wore on. The music they played was a bad mix of modern, pop, and latin. There would often be two or three songs between dancers.

I have a personal rule against getting a lapdance from any girl I wouldn't be seen walking down the street with. Needless to say, I didn't get a dance here.

At least the beer was cold and not too pricey.

Went here a few weeks ago and later had my way with a Brazilian gal who goes by magdalena, she's been in and out of the stripping game in Mass/RI the last few years. This place is definitely not for the guy that just came from Vegas but the girls are generally not horrible and somewhat friendly. Sunken stage is a little weird though. Drinks are overpriced as they are in all strip clubs but could be worse. Few of the girls speak English and most don't stay very long but you find a few hidden gems from time to time. Like most places, nighttimes adn weekends have the best talent.
