Well, in so far as this IS a strip club, it's pretty poor. It's about as far away from Bourbon Street as you can get and still be a strip club in the French Quarter, down on Royal at the intersection of Iberville. Girls from this club and from the three or four others near this intersection just rotate through whichever place seems to have some customers. Often a girl is sitting on a stool out front of La Mieux (which means "the better" in French, by the way, but the girls all think it's "meow" as in, what a cat says). Other times a new hottie is standing at the door. Guys shill you to get in. Dancer drink is $9 just for a chance to talk to her. Nobody ever goes on stage. But they're pretty explicit about what you can get --- $240 to the house, plus the girl's tip (anywhere from $100 on up) for the works. That's how this place works. I've never gone up to the private rooms because the whole set-up, with big burly men and no emergency exits, scares me. That, and the price is obscene. For the quality of girls available, you could get that three times over at a nearby asian massage parlor.

Since there were no other reviews for this place, I took one for the team and ventured into this club. What a dump...especially after my visits to the gold club and Crazy horse earlier in the evening.

It is a very small dark hole in the wall. The stage is behind the bar so you can't tip in the normal way. After the dance they come around and extract a dollar from you. The girls are not terrible, just not in the same league as other clubs in the area. Against my better judgment I went in the back for a "box dance" for something like $50. No contact I mean zero. Just a average looking woman who looked and acted very uncomfortable stripping. Topless only.
