I'm a pretty cold blooded reviewer of Clubs and Dancers, but I gotta admit I had a great time in Babe's last night! Girls were all pretty much workhorses in the 4.5-8 point range, maybe 1 "9", but they all worked the floor and their customers in a friendly, easy, unregimented/not pushy style. Bar prices are what they are: sure they aint cheap, but you're in a strip club on Bourbon Street in the Big Easy for gawd's sake, whaddaya expect! For the time being, on weekends, they're running male strippers upstairs so you and your girlfiend/wife/S.O., can both get an evening of entertainment. Management is laid back, not overwhelming, not so obvious to spoil the party atmosphere...This club has gone a long way from it's previous status is definetly trending up!

The placed called Bewitched doesn't exist anymore in this name.
now there is a place called bebe which is much shittier.

the girls are still so so. nothing to write home about.

I was pleasantly surprised by this (otherwise) dreadful place. I had a fun chat with a dude distributing free-entry cards along Bourbon St. (Hint: NEVER pay cover on Bourbon except at prime time. There are so many dudes going up and down the street giving out free-entry business cards that you should just collect them, off the ground if you have to!) He told me that Bewitched is the only "independent" club on Bourbon Street. I believe this could be true -- all the others either small New Orleans chains (perhaps Big Daddy's and Ricks are owned by the same local conglomerate?) or part of the mega Deja-Vu-Hustler chain. Anyway, the set-up inside Bewitched is pleasant enough, though the bar is more cramped than I'd like. There are VIPs and privates and back-rooms and back-back rooms for exorbitant prices (they start at $500 and skyrocket to $3000). The prices make it clear, it's all about corporate bucks. Anyway, the girls ranged from 2s and 3s up to a few solid 7s. As good as can be seen at Visions, in general (though any given individual might break the curve at either location), but not stellar. The drinks are over-priced, along Bourbon Street standards (a shot of Jaeger is $8.50, so you end up paying $10 each, for example), but the same as any other strip club in the vicinity unless there's a special going on somewhere. The clientele was decent, lots of middle-aged businessmen types, whaling the girls. Probably locals. All the girls had gone to High School somewhere in town. A dive, not Bourbon Street's best, but not as much of a disaster as previous reviews seem to indicate. Funniest thing, though; the owner / salesman who insisted on me going in ("free cover! what have you got to lose?") freely admitted that it's different every night. "What did you not like about it? The girls? The girls are different every night." On the one hand, this is perhaps a selling point in favor of my entry into the club on any given night; on the other hand, this exact same fact is a point to the DISfavor of the club itself over any general assessment, including in this review. He shouldn't be so quick to admit his down-side without also seeking to fix it!

This is the club for comedy!!! i seen five fights here recently and it was dancers vs customers, dancers vs managars, managers vs customers! Bottles and shoes flying!!!!! If you're not a fighter, then this is not your club. The girls aren't that hot, the dances arent great and its just a waste of good time. It's dark and gloomy which makes it depressing, 1 dancer talked about commiting sudicide, PLEASE AVOID!

PS: gave it a 10 because of the boxing show!!!

I have the scoop on the scam. I was there the night before new years. Decent crowd, some good looking dancers. I asked for a dance. $40 bucks for one lap dance. She was hot, so I was gonna go for it. Then she says she wants the $40 UP FRONT!

No, I don’t do business that way, I said. Back and forth like that, then she says, ok, $20. I agreed, then she says, “but I still need the $20 in advance”. No! I ain’t going for it! She disappears.

My wife, who just got through stripping as an amateur, goes to the restroom, and hears the strippers laughing through the stalls. The strippers are getting the money up front, then in the lap dance area, they do a slight grind, enough to get the guy slightly erect in 30 seconds. Then they pretend to be offended at that excitement, claim the custy is coming on to them and end the dance right then and there.

Then the strippers were over heard to laugh, stating that this was a “gentleman’s club, not a brothel, ha ha ha”.

I think this is really STUPID on their part. The girls are eliminating any chance for a second dance, and they are driving away repeat business, and the word is spreading. If I’m management, I’m pissed.

I recommend avoiding this place and go to Hustler or Ricks next door, or Penthouse across the street.

I give this place a 1, because it looks like you are not gonna leave happy.

In town for the NFL event of the century...the Saint's game. Roamed Bourbon Sunday and Monday night after the game. Tried Bewitched (and every other club) twice. This one distinguishes itself as the top of the heap in crappy, low class, bait and switch strip clubs.

Long center of the room runway style stage...one of the fattest, nastiest strippers onstage I've every seen...I guess there's someone for everyone...but if you have no arms, you don't take a job as a carpenter.

Had one pressured dance in "VIP" *and I use that term VERY loosely)...with Lynn. Once the top came off...mashed potatoe boobs. Complained the whole time that her kids had "robbed her of her boobs". Average contact...but really fast songs. The individual songs were 30 per or 240 for 1/2 hr.

Any pluses? The drinks were pretty cheap compared to other clubs I visited in the Quarter.

Please avoid this club.

Went here last night, more black girls than white, mostly from memphis tn. Girls average 3 to 5 on looks. Beer was pretty high, 7.75 for a miller lite. Dancers not very friendly. Talked to 1 black girl, about a 5. Ok conversation but did not stick around for a dance. Waitress was old but nicer than the dancers.

The previous guy must have been in a different club. I was there on Sat 4/22/06. It is a SMALL club from what I saw. You pay a $5 door fee, when you go inside there is a stage on the left with about 10 chairs around it. There are several tables scattered around the room and 3 - 4 high tables on the right wall. The girls average 4-7. Drinks are high. A glass of wine was $9. You can get a lap dance for $30, but on the weekend it is 3 for $100 and I was told you have to buy 3. Guess they flunked math. When the girls finish on stage this guy comes over and scoops up all the money and it looked like he was counting it, guess the girls must have to pay a % of income to work? I talked to two of the girls and both were friendly. Bought a drink for one and she sat and talked for quite a while, but I wasn't ready to cought up $100 for 3 $30 dances would have gone for at least 1 maybe 2. They get a 4 only because the girls were so friendly.

Bewitched is the newest gentlemen's club on Bourbon Street and features the most beautiful women, choreographed in this 4 story French Quarter topless cabaret.

Bewitched is a large club with a mix of blue and white collar. The staff and girls are friendly and promote a party atmosphere. Bachelor parties as well as private groups can be accomodated. We also have balcony VIP rooms overlooking Bourbon Street.

Bewitched is anything but your average strip club.
