Visits recently were both afternoon and night.
Afternoon shift was what it was in the past--dancers taking care of regulars, paying no attention to customers, or staying in the back room.
Lots of new faces both management and dancers for day and night shifts.
Weekend nights this club would have 12 to 15 dancers that would cover all the bases. This visit Friday night saw only 6 and the best would only rate a 7. The overall rating again infuenced by the lack of attention when someone was sitting alone.
Difficult to get a good feel about this club this visit--will probably go back because the drinks are a good value for the price charged.

I visited the club late Saturday, 5/31, and thought that the demographics looked good, but had some difficulty getting dances. The crowd varied from 5-10 and there were five dancers on duty. I decided that three of the five were lap dance candidates and was tipping them, but did not ask for a dance on initial stage rotations. I finally told two of them that I was interested in dances and one said she'd join me right away. She, however, sat with a guy and they proceeded to smoke like chimneys and talk (more about her later). The other dancer I asked for dances had been with a regular the whole time I'd been there, but she did come by and give me two good dances. When I asked for a third, she said that she had to go back to her regular because he had come so far to see her. I playfully told her how far from home I was, but it didn't do any good.

So, I received my ration of dances, two, from the dancer. In hindsight, it was nice of her to give me two, but I think it was the first time I've been denied more dances in favor of another customer. This other customer was actually buying dances, unlike the "friend" of my other dancer who wasn't.

I did later get the second dancer to give me some attention. She said that she didn't know I was available, but I had company for only the two dances with the other gal. She also said she was drunk so that may have been a factor. I did finally get one very nice dance from her, but was stopped from getting any more by "the bell", closing time. Wished that I could have had some more!

I still recommend this place. Though it had been quite a long time since the previous visit, I think that the low number of dancers was an aberration. I also was there on a night when one of my target dancers was otherwise occupied. The value at this place is hard to beat.

I was here Wednesday, Thursday, & a short time Friday last week. There was a pretty good selection and number of dancers each time. Most were very lap worthy, with a few real gems included, and a couple of ones that just should not be dancing. The good news is the dances are still full touch and nice grind for just $10. Only one ROB tried to up charge after the dance by asking for a large tip, all the rest were happy with the standard $10, and most sat & visited before and between dances with a lot of snuggling. I always give a little extra to the ones that spend extra time, and each was very appreciative of even $2-$5 tip over the cost of dances. Dances were a little more reserved than in the past, but still most gave very good grind, and about half appeared willing to grind to completion if desired. Drinks were reasonable, and the few dancer drinks I purchased were all under $5 as well. I still love this place, especially in the afternoon. I also stopped at the Outhouse and Flamingo (see reviews), and would rate Paradise as second in dancer quality this trip and by far best in value. Can’t wait to get back to Lawrence for my next titty fix. Silly Old Bob

Say what you will but the Paradise, whatever its flaws, still tends to be the Lawrence club that I spend the most time and money at and the one where I have the most fun. There have been some pretty significant changes here in recent months as the place has changed ownership and it feels more relaxed than it did. They've added a couple of big screen TV's showing sports which can be fun if there's a game on and isn't really too distracting otherwise. There are also quite a few new dancers, some of whom are very friendly, maybe even "extra" friendly. The dances have gotten even more "hands on" than before and they were pretty good to start with. These things tend to run in cycles so who knows who long it will continue but definitely worth a visit if you are looking for mileage. I won't name any names here but you'll know who the "fun" girls are the moment they sit next to you. Dances are still just $10 and they now have drink specials most every night of the week so you can have quite a bit of fun here without spending a whole lot of money. As always, there are a few dancers who you'd prefer weren't dancing but there are also some very hot ones so it kind of balances out. My last visit, the place was packed which I haven't seen in a while so word must be out that this is now the place to go. Either that or everyone got their tax refunds the same week. Highly recommended for now.
