Spent an hour here tonight. No cover charge on a Saturday night, and a large glass of tap beer was $3.25. The waitress was lovely though fully clothed. It has improved a little since my last visit. Very large place, and as another reviewer mentioned, the lap dance area is anything but large or private. However the girls are very friendly and very pretty. About 15 working tonight. Summer has moved from Dangerous Curves in Ames, and JJ moved from Outer Limits in Des Moines. Other lovelies included Autumn, Tyra, Kim, and Blondie. Lots and lots of tattoos. If tattoos bother skip this place. There were many many young women in the audience tonight but none of them ever approached the stage. They played pool and sat around at the tables and talked to their boyfriends and/or girlfriends. Got one lap dance for $20 from Tyra, a dark-skinned girl who is a little overweight but has positive attitude and positively fabulous natural boobs which are fully available. Anything is available for touching except under the g-string.

Not a bad place to catch a few cold ones and some eye candy. Pretty laid back. The girl factor is hit-or-miss, but they sometimes have some hotties here. Remember, Carroll is out in the middle of nowhere among the cornfields of west-central Iowa. There's little reason for outsiders to travel to this town, so both the stripper-staff and the clientele are mostly locals. Met a great stripper here the other night -- her stage name is J.J. and she grew up about an hour away from Carroll. J.J. is intelligent, vivacious, good looking, and has two all-natural 38DD jugs. Currently she is dancing in both Carroll and Des Moines (Outer Limits) and she says she can get away with a few more "extras" in Carroll. Good for her and good for Ossy's. If it were not for J.J. I would have rated Ossy as about a "4" because it is basically (as a previous reviewer said) just a neighborhood bar that just happens to have a small stage where girls just happen to take off some of their clothes -- and no big deal.
One big PLUS in Iowa clubs is that there is no state law against physical contact. Usually the girls have a friendly laid back attitude and are willing to visit with you and tease you a little. No "Wanna dance" or "buy the girl a drink" problems here. You get some fondling and Stevies for a $1 tip at the stage, and sometimes more in the private area. YMMV -- don't go in with high expectations. Relax and enjoy the eye candy. Every now and then a hottie like J.J. will show up.

This place has moved. Went to old location and there was nothing but a big hole in the ground. It is now on the far east end of town. Location is pretty nice, easier to get to. looks like it still has a regular bar in the back. When I first walked in I thought wow this is nice, then started looking for the stage, I finally noticed it over along one wall, not real big. My first impression is this is a nice sports bar that just happens to have a small spot in the corner for some girls to take off their shirts. the girls were nice I talked to several that were from the Des Moines area and came up there to work. the private area was really small, behind the DJ booth there are 3 unconfortable chairs and if 3 couples are back there everyone is bumping feet together. that wasnt' very impressive.
Overall nice place, but when designing new place I get the feel the strip club part of it was an afterthought when it should have been a focal point.


K, to start, this place is not open on Sundays… I went back on Monday night to catch the football game. The place was maintained fairly well. Well lite and nice TV over the bar to watch the game. There were about 12 to 20 patrons all night and there were about 6 girls ranging from 4-8. There was no pressure from the girls for dances (as another reviewer stated the dancers did not even come around to say hello (even after I tipped them at the stage). They seemed to be preoccupied with other things (I could not tell you what though). I ended up talking to a simi-local guy and he said it was a good night as far as talent goes. He said he was here last Monday and girls rated 3-5. I guess they rotate through… There is a regular bar attached as well and there is another room for private dances, but I am not sure it gets used very much. I would normaly give this a lower rating, but considering the area and experience at another nearby bar (Book-Em) I will rate it middle of the road.
