Arrived at 9:30. Seven dancers and 10 customers. The place is clean with a low stage in the center of the room. Dancers are about thigh high to customers at the stage.
My dancer rating is based on looks AND sexy dancing.
My value rating includes: $2 entrance fee, $10 to $20 LD's depending on the dancer, AND limited two way contact. YMMV. Cokes were $3.50. Dancer's drinks are $6.
LD's are on padded benches in a partly secluded back corner.
A group of five unescorted women came in. Dancer said that they are not allowed on stage, but sometimes table dances with them can be wild.
Marion is a little out-of-the-way but worth the detour from I-69.

I was in Marion a couple of days on business and decided to stop by this club on Thursday night. As you enter, the bar is to the left and the dance floor, which is square-shaped is to the right. I took a seat away from the dance floor at the back along the wall where you can pretty much see the action on the floor. There is a two drink minimum; I did not pay a cover charge. They had a drink special of 4 Buds for $10.

The girls dance a two song set and make the rounds asking for a dollar tip. However instead of tipping a dollar, ask for a dollar dance but note that touching is not allowed above the thighs! The private dances depend upon the girl who can name her price. The girls who came and sat next to me said her price was $15. I was not too interested.

There were 8 girls that night of which 2 were reasonably attractive. If you have the time I would recommend driving 45 miles west to the Hugger in Kokomo where the action is a lot better and you will get far better value for your money!

Business took me back to the area of my youth Marion, Indiana. In talking to my old friends about where to go for some adult entertainment, they were split about 50/50 on checking out the two strip bars in Marion (one of which is not on TUSCL list) and going to Kokomo. I was a little short on time so I stayed in Marion.

I took in VIP Showclub and I was very dissapointed. It started with the doorman who acted as though it was an effort to take my cover charge and be civil about it. The layout was ok and this might have been an quality place a few years ago but, too many shabby repairs (e.g. duct tape on the plastic chair covers) made the term showclub a joke.

The dancers were in the 2-5 range on looks alone (a little too rough, or old, or just had a baby strech mark look for my taste). They were eager to please and would do quite a bit as they worked the room for tucks after their dances. This brought them up to the 3-6 or 7 range in my book.

The biggest draw back to this club is that they employ a D.J. He is proof positive that the ones that can't get work in dance clubs end up in strip clubs. He was loud, his rap seemed to not work for older guys (such as myself), or the guys his age, or the dancers. His choise of music was terrible and you could see the pained looks on the faces of the dancers as he played song after song that they couldn't and/or wouldn't dance to if they had any input.

I had a better time at the other club and will post a review on it if it ever makes the list. That being said if you're in the area and have the time a drive to Kokomo might be worth it.
