Went here on a Friday. This used to be one of my favorite clubs in the area beause touching is allowed. It still seems to be allowed... semi private areas are still there.. but on Friday night there were only 4 girls I saw working there and at best they were 5 or 6. The couple that owns (or manages) the place seem to be very unfriendly. It is hard to explain why but I felt like a complete outsider. Maybe thats because there were only about 5-6 customers in the join and they all seemed to know the owners. I had a drink. .stayed aboout 45 min and was off to nearby industrial strip.

Oh, Sirius1, it is hard to get nostalgic about a stripclub, but you are oh-so-right about Kenny May's. About 10 years ago, I'd come there from the Chicago SW burbs whenever I had the time and money. Most of those memories have faded away except for Jenna. She's one of a very select few dancers to leave me with happy endings, and she did it without any illegal activity, just her fine lapdancing. I heard after a while that she went over to IS, but I lost track of her after that. I can picture her now as a contented mother of two lovely kids in first and third grade, giving some lucky guy a magnificent welcome-home screw 3 nights a week. So.... a TOAST! To Kenny May's, and Jenna!

I went back to say hi to Dell and others. I still mourn the death of this place (well, it hasn't died but this place is over due for someone to pull the plug). I had so many great experiences in and out of this place with the house dancers and features that I really miss all the action. There is still action to be had but you need a monger's mentality to partake of what they have there. 1 -3 dancers with a 2 to 4 rating that all appear to act like they wish they were somewhere else. What a loss to the southside. This was THE place ten years ago.


I really wanted to give it a 1, but the beer was pretty cold. So there's your 2. Walk into this throwback of a local joint, and here's the layout: Two oval dance areas, surrounded by a short playpen-style rail on a linoleum floor. Pull up one of the kitchen chairs and join the local diehards. Ok, you've gotta stop somewhere on your way home from work, but this place? If you want a beer, fine. If you're looking for eye candy, Kenny May's is not even close. No excitement. No one even pretending to have fun. One dancer was wearing thigh-high pirate boots that used to be white, but now were just grime-colored. The VIP area was some open telephone booth-like deals. Was there another dancer? Oh yeah, me, as I danced my way to the exit.
