Ok...So the Pink slip has a reputation around St.Louis for not being the "best" club. Rumor has it that the dancers have bullet wounds and stab marks..stretch marks and c-section scars. Well one night me and some friends went over after a night out on the Landing. I think it was a thursday and maybe around 3 am. It really wasn't a whole lot going on. There were maybe 3 girls on the "main" stage which has mirrors behind it and like a bar hanging from the ceiling around it. One girl was just sitting on the stage counting her money and the rest lookind bored just doing kind of an ass clap thing. The girl on the side stage was a bit chunky so I didn't really pay her too much mind. We actually ended up leaving after about 30 minutes.
Pretty muchif you aren't into buying lap dances you can sit up at the edge of the stage and throw out dollars and get some pretty good entertainment. Theres also a widely advertised amateur night on mondays with radio personalities hosting it so that might be pretty cool. I probably wont go back anytime soon unless I'm out with a big group again and maybe on a busier night. I also hear that the "extras" aren't too much extra depending on the girl but I don't know that as a factual statement so it may or may not have a large amount of truth to it. Drinks aren't really too bad priced so thats a plus. I do remember the cover being between 5-10 bucks.

The Pink slip has a nice, relaxed atmospher and is a great place to relax and hear some jammin music after hours.

I don't know what these previous reviewers are talking about. The Pink Slip is one of the few Black Clubs that doesn't double as a whorehouse. The girls are friendly unless you are a weirdo and walk in there looking like a vice-cop. YES Black men and white men have different tast in women , HOWEVER you don't see us black men go bashing all of the bony almost anorexic, pasty complexioned, doped out on meth women at the "white clubs". NO we just accept that that is what some people like. And let's not even dare get into who has more tattoos. I dare you to go to a white club and find more than 20% of the girls without a lot of ink. And INK is cool, unless you are some fagot afraid of needles. Pink Slip is now and has been one of my favorite clubs for qite a while. If you guys are afraid of ethnicity then go across the street. And if you want a WHOREHOUSE go back to the Soft Touch

Decided to swing by the Pink Slip to see what it was all about. Basically, it is in a small cluster of strip clubs in Brooklyn. I parked across the street where the lot is better maintained, and then walked across the street. It is a fairly open and dark club. The outside is distinctly pink--hence the name. There were a couple customers, at least one bouncer, and 3-4 girls in the club. There is no doubt this is a black club. And the dancers were all black--in the range of 4-6. I sat in the corner and watched the interaction. In short, I was never approached by anyone besides the barmaid. The girls stayed close to the regulars. Since this was my first time there, and I am white, they stayed away. Definitely not as friendly and aggressive as the girls at the Soft Touch. There are other clubs next door, and the girls and atmosphere are more friendly for new clientele. So I took my money and headed to the other clubs in Brooklyn.
