This place has been fun. Supposedly (a dancer told me this) the dancers here are kind of on try out basis before they can work at the main Torch. The girls have been very young, cute and enthusiastic, and the $2 mixed drink are a bonus. Yeah, it is an Idaho club, so don't expect any real nudity, but to watch cute girls dance in very little clothing while drinking cheap drink, this is the place.

Also - they are apparently going to tear the place down soon and rebuild a huge new shiny strip club. More news to come.



Of course, the rating is relative to other "bikini" bars. The place is a dive/honkey tonk style bar. The girls are friendly and appear to be having a good time with the customers, socializing and having fun between sets and private dances. Unlike most clubs, this one is well lit. The girls generally ranged from 4 to 7+, but you can add another point or two for attitude. Plenty of contact/thanks for tips.

For a $2 cover and $3 drafts, I had a good time here for a couple hours.


I agree with the last poster who gave this place a 6, but stimpulated that this was a "idaho 6" as opposed to say a Seattle 6. Compared to the other places in town I give is a respectable 7. The girls range from pretty cute to pretty plump, bust lukily most lean toward the cute side. The place has a bar unlike most other Boise "strip clubs", and like most of the other clubs in town, there is no actual nudity. Some of the girls, however, are quite good at having some accidental "slippage" for the well tipping customers if you know what I mean. The place is dark, rustic, and well, pretty redneck, but that is ok since it is Boise. The bottom line is that if you go in with an idaho attitude you will like this place but you if come in with a Vagas or San Francisco attitude you will be sorely disappointed. Pluses - Mostly cute girls. Alcohol. Has a nice rustic feel. Minuses - Some not so cute girls. The Naughty factor is zero. No touch, no nudity, period.

I give it a 6; and that's an Idaho 6, not a Seattle (Rick's) 6; they wouldn't even be on the chart in that case. But it is my favorite club in Boise. I kind of like the rustic/ worn down atmosphere there. Spearmint Rhino will get you a little more mileage on the dances though.

Girls, maybe/ occaasionally decent, a few 6's and 7's, rarely better. Dances were better when the place was Blumacs, save your money.

Best thing going here is $5 all you can drink on Tuesday nights 8-12pm; $3 cover, $5 for beer, and you my friend are covered for a cheap night out.
