Stopped in this evening, a big night in Tampa, just a day before the annual Gasparilla parade. I was not sure if anything would be happening, but as it turns out the place was packed. $10 to enter, something I was unsure about given the lack of contact reputed to dominate the place.

Well, the talent was impressive this evening, but I still cannot get past the presence of the Mons only a mile away. Given the choice, I am going to go to the Mons every single time over a place like this, air dances v intense lap dances with nude women intent on pleasing? Take me to the Mons every time.

Why did I come to this place and pay my $10? Just to confirm it ain't worth visiting in the future. Nice interior, classy women, but without the contact I'll visit the Mons and Scarlett's instead.

Very nice club if you want a good meal and some drinks while watching beautiful dancers. If you are looking for nude or high mileage lap dancing then this is not the place. This is more of an upscale type place...lots of suits looking to spend lots of money.

I went on a Thursday night...there were about 10 dancers that were working the floor. Most were in the 7-8 range. I did not get a dance because they looked to be mostly air-type dances. I had a few drinks and tipped the dancers well when they were on stage. Might go back just to get somethign to eat while watching some nice eye candy.

Readers should interpret this grade with the following proviso: Add 2 pts. if your tastes lean towards high end trimmings, very fine food/service, attractive dancers, and aren't particular about mileage. Deduct 2 points if you're a high mileage fan. Went there Su evening, not very crowded, place was high end with comfortable roller couches on main floor, and by dining table area on slightly raised floor in the back of club. Steak dinner was equal to Don Shulas in quality, but slightly more expensive. Service was good and unobtrusive. A/C system good, fair ammount of smokers, but didn't notice it much. After sating appetite, moved on to main floor for...// THE DANCERS- Attractiveness range 6-8.5, mostly 7-8. 65/35 natural vs silicon. Fair diversity with 7 Cauc (mostly blonde, 1 redhead), 2 Blacks, 1 Fillipino, maybe 1-2 Hisp. Not hard on eyes on off peak night, but previous night at the Monz had at least a half dozen dancers equal to or better than the best looking dancer here tonight. Being close to several business oriented hotels has its advantages....// STAGES & LAPS: 1 dancer does 3 song sets on single main stage. This is a topless club, but dancers have nearly palm sized bandaid pasties on their breasts, sheeeshh- haven't seen that since the early 90's at any club I've been to. Laps are $20 topless seatside, BASIC 1 way mileage only. I was told that VIP area dances are also $20, but one must pay $10 per visit, OR $25 for unlimited visits.// SUMMARY- This would be a good club to bring an uninitiated client to, but for the high mileage fans that like good steak dinners and beautiful women are best advised to seperate the 2 when in Tampa.

Wow, what a few months can do for a club. Last time I was at Maxxim is was SO boring and lame. This Tuesday night (7pm-1am) I had a total blast. Really glad I went...

It started off slow, and honestly I just went there expecting to get dinner then head out to the full contact clubs. I never left and had such a good time. Parking is free and it's free entry before 8pm in a nice area of town.

I started off with dinner at the bar. Not many people there, but it was early. The food was fantastic...highly reccommend the steak.

By 9pm the place was hoppin, lots of customers and some SMOKIN' HOT strippers. It's a pastie club, but damn these girls are hot. I saw mostly 7-9s and at least two 10s. Couldn't believe it....like i said, this was totally unexpected. I spent the whole night with a blonde 10s and was hooked.

Dances can be had for $10 on the floor and $20-$30 in the VIP area. I reccommend the VIP area. It's way more private and has nice ass leather couches for you and the girl to get comfortable on. It's still minimal contact, but way more than Thee Dollhouse offers. I enjoyed the dances and will definitely go back for more.

Only complaint - my hottie stripper got in trouble by management for hooking up with me a little at the bar. It wasn't that bad, just a little dfk & with lots of hugging, etc. A little harsh IMO.

Anyway, if you like nice GCs and aren't overly concerned with mileage, Maxxim will probably do you well after 9pm. Staff is friendly, girls are way hot, and a good time can be had.
