I am not sure if it is the tough economic times, or just the time of day that I was there. High pressure right from the start. When I walked in, I got hit up by every girl in the club. And none of them were all that hot. Maybe a 7 in the bunch, but the rest were in the 5-6 range.
Now, in their defense, there were probably only 10 customers in the place. Maybe it is better at night.
All wanted to take me to the VIP area. When I stated that I just got there and wanted to watch for a bit, they all went a way in a huff.
Not very appealing.
The good side is that there was only a $5 entrance fee and the cokes were free.
Got one uninspired private dance. Whole time, she was telling me how much better the VIP room would be.

This club has gone downhill. I was last here in March and had several girls that were favorites. Only one remains and the rest of the dancers here on this Thursday did not interest me. $15 cover, such a waste. One of my favorites, Malana, remembered me, but she is different now. She pushed the Champagne room and it just turned me off. I asked her about Daisy who no longer works there. Malana said the rules changed and Daisy quit, I guess along with several other dancers. It is a shame when management screws things up. Mons Venus and 2001 lets dancers come and go as they please and they are the best clubs in Tampa. If anyone has seen daisy, I would love to know if she is still dancing. She commuted from Bradenton.

Business took me right by DVu on my way home late one afternoon last week. I felt my steering wheel turn all by itself into the entrance. Really had no intention of clubbing that day but my vehicle decided otherwise- Not much happening inside. Only 3 girls on the floor as I entered. The manager, who was at the bar, said a few were in the VIP. I was working on a straight as the girls in attendance rated about a 5,6 and 7, respectively. Chatted up the 7 as I waited for what I hoped would be an 8 and 9 coming out of the vip area. After about 10 minutes of small talk, I'd had enough and decided to go the YS. Never got my straight but at least I folded before I put to much into the pot.

First time back in a while. Overall, the number and quality of dancers have improved. Noticed Melina, who used to work at Platinum Showgirls, but she was busy with a couple guys. She, and a couple others actually put on an enthusiastic stage show (as opposed to just dancing next to the pole).

Back room dances vary in pricing, the "private rooms" aren't the cheapest. Single dances are on par with every place but Ybor. Spent some quality time with April, a newbie there. Wanted to spend time with Melina -- maybe next time.

I'd probably really give this an 8 1/2 instead of a 9 but, since I noticed that I rated it an 8 last time and the talent is decidedly better now, I had to bump it up.
