Visited the Emerald City during a recent stopover in Port Charlotte. As pointed out in an earlier review, this club has a strange setup because of the laws of the town. Nude on one side. Bar on the other. But dancers and customers can go between. Armband required for customers. Dancers have to sign out of the club to go next door to the bar and to give dances.
Dancers ranged from 5-7 in quality. Had two dances from different girls in the VIP area (over the bar). Good contact - not mutual. Give one dancer a B+, the other B-.
Overall, considering the laws and oddity of the club's arrangement, not a bad experience.

I went here for the first time on a Thursday night, cover was $10. Club opens @ 8 p.m. on weekdays, I believe. The club has two levels, the bottom level is pretty big with a nice modern atmosphere. It is where the main stage is, alcohol free but full nude dances. To get to the top area, you have to go back outside into the building next door which basically is a bar, nothing fancy here. Once you are inside here you can go upstairs where there are some pool tables and couches for private dances. Weird setup for sure, I got one private dance which is topless but decent friction for $20. I saw an ad for $10 dances on Wednesday's, maybe this is a better night to go since there were only about 6-8 dancers on this night rating from 5 to 8 in looks.

My husband and I went to this club in January on a Saturday night. It was pretty packed. Most of the girls were pretty hot and looked really good on stage. We had fun but none of the girls approached us to ask for a dance. Actually, there didn't seem to be many girls working the floor at all. It was weird. I guess to get a private dance you have to go outside into another building? I think table dances are done on the floor. It seemed like this club is more stage oriented. It looked like the dancers got really good tips on stage but they weren't doing a lot of table or private dances.

I visited Emerald City tonight. I was in Pt. Charlotte and I decided what the hey, might as well see what this place is all about. The club seems to be housed in an old auto body shop. The cover charge is $10. The front door man sits at a table outside.

The club was pretty quiet around 7 pm. There were two other patrons and about 6-7 dancers. By 8 pm, there were about a half a dozen patrons. The club was pretty dark, but the stage was well lit. The dancers were in the 5-8 range. The dances on stage are totally nude. If you sit close to the stage, you can see a lot of kitty. You tip the dancers by putting a dollar bill over the stage bar. The dancers will give you a private show for about 30-45 seconds.

The lapdances are held upstairs in Stogies, the bar next door. You exit Emerald City and then walk outside to Stogies. I'd hate to see what happens when it rains or if it's ultra cold outside! The lapdances are bikini dances and cost $20 each. I got 2 dances from Mia. She had a hard body, but had a kind of bony face. The lapdances had a lot of grindage, but better dances can be found at clubs in Tampa and even Ft. Myers. You could touch the dancers anywhere except for the breasts and kitty. A bouncer sits by a table in the center of the room, making sure you don't break any rules. I suspect you might get something broken if you do! I was surprised that the lapdances were bikini dances. The club proudly proclaims that they have nude dancers and you would expect the lapdances to be nude too. You can see a lot more on the stage show, minus the grindage.

The club is suprisingly low pressure. A 20 oz. soda costs $3, but no waiter or waitress bugs you to keep on buying drinks. You have to actually walk up to the bar and ask the guy for a drink. If you don't want to buy a drink, no one bothers you. None of the dancers really seemed to push the dances. Nearly all of them sat around talking amongst themselves or to patrons. Mia seemed to be the only one asking people for dances. It's good that it's low pressure since you can ogle the girls all night if you wanted to. I don't know how the dancers make money with just tips. Most of the dancers got a few dollars during their stage dance. I hope they were hustling later in the night.

The more attractive dancers were Carmen, who I swore I've seen at Lookers in Ft. Myers, FL. Madison was an attractive blonde who looked stunning in glasses (I have a thing for dancers in glasses for some odd reason). The hottest dancer there was Carmen's friend, who sadly, wasn't working that night. I wonder when she is working...

The club is not outstanding, but it is decent. The low pressure is a plus for the club. As long as you tip the dancers occassionally, I think you can sit there all night long if you wanted to.
