The Daytona Beach City Council recently passed a law prohibiting the exposure of any breasts or kitties on stage in strip clubs (and which was recently upheld by the U.S. Court of Appeals). It went into effect on October 18, 2007.

I visited Molly Brown's on a Sunday evening just after Daytona Beach's crazy new anti-strip law went into effect (see my review of Lollipops for more of the sordid details). Only three girls were there at about 9 PM, and another arrived later (pretty dismal even for a Sunday evening). They danced, one at a time, on stage for three songs, taking off no clothes and exposing nothing, so it was pretty much like being outside on the beach, maybe worse (even more dismal). But the backroom, private-dance action was unchanged, and I bought several dances from Jade and Susie, who were very good and about the sweetest and friendliest dancers I've ever met at a strip club. Just to pass the time, Jade spent the rest of the evening talking with me. Of course, there wasn't much else to do. Certainly taking off any clothes on stage wasn't on anyone's To Do list.

On the whole, I would say that it wasn't a total loss of an evening. But I'd say that the totally lame stage show really killed the fun for me, and I probably wouldn't go back. In fact, I don't have any plans to return to Daytona Beach, for that matter.

Went to Daytona Beach recently and based on the reviews here, visited Molly's, Lollipops, and Sharks Lounge (will submit reviews for the others shortly). Went to Molly's at around 9 on a Sunday. The place was dead. but the bouncer said it ususally gets crowded around midnight. He gave me a stamp and said I could come and go as I please for the night which was pretty cool. Inside the place has 2 levels with the VIP area to the right of the stage. Fairly good privacy in the VIP. The front of the area is covered by a curtain, although the curtain is slightly transparent. Each couch area in the VIP room is separated by another curtain, so it's fairly good privacy, and there were several "booths". Very good contact, basically the same as Lollipops. The upper level was closed when I was there, but it appeared to just be another sitting area and not a VIP. The girls here were nice, averaging about a 7, and no dogs. Cover was 10, but had normal length songs (unlike Lollipops 1 song a minute). Beers were average price $3-$4. It didn't appear to be any parking here, but I was walking and may have missed the lot. All in all a good place. The girls were very friendly and would chat, and not push the VIP on you. I had a wonderful dance with a cute little blond (can't remember her bame) who gave me a 2 for 1. Laps were $25 and no $10 charge just to use the VIP room like Lolly's. The only negative I could say is that it was dead, and I expected more girls to come around than actually did. Some dancers were hanging together, or were crowded around 1 or 2 "regulars". Other than that, I would highly recommend the place. When in town, definitely stop by here or Lollipopos if not both.

i go here every saturday night with my guy friend to play pool, watch the dancers, and to listen to music and to chat with my friend who works at the upstairs bar. it is a very clean, very nice, very classy joint! everybody who works here is a pleasure to be around! i give it a 9 1/2!!!

I just left Molly Browns. I was visiting Daytona Beach and was there two night (Wednesday and Friday). I was impressed. The women behind the bar and waiting tables could just as easily been dancers. I saw more dancers on Friday night and they ranged from 6 to 10. Most of them were in the 8 to 10 range.

Both nights I had dances from one girls who was very accommodating. I was allowed to do a lot of touching and she did a lot of grinding. I was satisfied.
