It's a nice club. The front lot was full, cars and people, when I drove by, looking for and having missed, Fantasy Nude. Finding Fantasy's lot empty, I ascended to DDs (no pun intended here; I definitely didn't see anything bigger than C-). Apparently, the mob I saw on my first fly-by was shift change. Inside, for a $5 cover, I met the very pretty ticket taker, who it turns out doesn't perform because she's ashamed of her A-cups... what a world we have created.

Inside, the "X" (or maybe it's just a cross) shaped stage dominates. There were 10-12 customers and about an equal number of dancers. The door-honey and the drink server were the two best looking women in the place. Of the four dancers I saw, none were memorable. The first didn't even remove her bra -- I concluded it must be a bikini bar. One dancer with a cute face, but over-larded otherwise, came over and chatted, told me it was topless, bared her breasts showing me her gold-colored foil pasties. That ain't topless, baby. It would appear the girls were also wearing G-strings; you could see the string part, but not the "gee!" None I saw ever removed their outer garment.

The girl chatting me up told me the pasties came off in the VIP. I bit; she lied; they didn't. The VIP area was separate from the main bar/dance area, but internally completely open. The customer sits on an old fashioned malt-shop type chair, and the dancer performs with minimal contact. The activity was completely sterile; my God, there were cameras in the ceiling -- or was it the walls -- or the floor. Anyway, that experiment has been performed and is over.

Very Nice Club. Freshly Remodeled, new secluded V I P Rooms added, free lunch and 2$ drinks makes this club a #1 stop when out on the town. Only club in the county that has food both day and night. The drinks are strong and the women friendly. No high pressure reveiws every hour, really laid back established club. I checked out the website www.Diamond-Dolls.com and it is updated monthly. Over all I rate it a 9 out of 10. Not bad for a club that has been in clearwater since 1989.

They have finished a lot of the renovations since my last review. Everthing now has a fresh coat of paint, there is new carpet (typical strip club carpet but it is clean) pretty good evening bar tenders (Rose is a sweetheart) the dancers are pretty good for the most part (a lot of girls that used to dance at others clubs) however there are still a few girls that need to go, There also is a mens room attendant (always felt odd about that) lots of security staff (place doesn't seem that it needs that much, guess they are doing their job) This is located in Clearwater so pasties are required :/


I visited Diamond Dolls recently. They are located at 16361 US Hwy 19 North. From St. Pete, drive north on US 19, and as you approach Clearwater, pay close attention, because it is very easy to go right past this place. That's what happened to me. I had to get off the highway and come back south on the access road.

Diamond Dolls is topless, not nude. In fact, the city of Clearwater requires that the girls wear little pasties on their nipples. There is no cover charge before 7 pm. After 7 o'clock, the cover is $7 (only $3 for military guys).

There are several other good deals that I can tell you about:
-My Draft beer was only $4
-On Monday nite, for $20 they give you "all U can drink"
-They have a free lunch buffet daily
-From 12 noon until 6 pm, drinks are half-priced

However, I was not very impressed with the strippers. Some of them were nice to look at, but I got very low mileage when I tipped at the stage. There are so many clubs in the Tampa Bay area, I think you can have more fun at one of the other places. In fact, I recommend that you go up the road to Holiday Florida (Pasco County), and check out Extasy Club. I had a great time there.
