You should visit this club when in Prague just to see the wide variety of beautiful women. It is very expensive for any option other than just looking. The have a menu of what is available and every women sooner or later will come to your table and explain the menu and try to talk you in buying something. It goes on all night. Except for a beer you can just sit and watch the dancers they all get nude. The dancers may not offer all the things on the menu but that are the most beautiful girls in the club. It is worth paying the cover just to see all the girls.

I visited the Darling Cabaret three times during my stay in Prague, on a Saturday, a Sunday, and a Wednesday. Okay, so you've probably already guessed that I liked it.

Darling is the largest strip club I've ever visited, with three levels (and three stages), a main stage where the best dancers stripped, and two smaller ones where less talented dancers did their thing for two songs each. And on the Saturday evening I visited, there were 121 girls present! Yes, that's not a typo: one hundred and twenty-one girls! Admittedly, that number was the club's claim (on a blackboard at the entrance), but my feeling from the number of women wandering around was that that number was right. All were in the 8 to 10 range in beauty, except for one. That one was a near-300-pound fatty who presumably was there for comic relief, but that was hardly the kind of relief one asks from a strip club, and I found her irritating and somewhat depressing.

Anyway, the main-stage show at Darling was impressive (especially Saturday), maybe the best I've ever seen. Girls danced for two songs (with not-too-painful) two-minute breaks in between and stripped to nothing by the middle of the second song. There was essentially no tipping and no break between their two songs, so the girls were able to concentrate on their dance, which was quite artful, erotic, and an amazing turn-on, even though they never spread their legs wide to really show off the kitty's details. After every two or three dancers, the three or four Darling go-go dancers did a less erotic (bra and panties stayed on) and classy number in matching costumes. One involved classical music and elegant Marie Antoinette attire, which they then removed to reveal Las Vegas showgirl outfits underneath as the music changed to rock and roll.

Saturday evening was very busy, Wednesday was somewhat busy by midnight, and Sunday was dead. The dancer number, quality, and motivation seemed to scale with the crowd size. There was an on-stage lesbian show, complete with dildos and full penetration at 1 AM Saturday evening, and actual sex between a man and woman on the main stage at 2 AM.

Private dance options were quite numerous at Darling, and printed menus on every table described them, so there was no mistake about them or their cost. 1000 CZK ($50) bought you a pair of non-contact table or private dances. An extra 500 CZK bought you a little light contact (but nothing serious). 2000 CZK got you a soft-core lesbian show (unfortunately, no passion, moaning, or penetration). I tried the 1500 CZK some-contact private dance, and it was quite lame; don't waste your money on it. In fact, I either experienced (or was able to see being performed at various tables nearby) all of these options, and, in my opinion, they all were a complete waste of money. The stage show was almost as good, and you got that for free with your admission (200 CZK or $10).

But there were other, much more serious options. According to the menu, 3500 CZK ($175) bought you 20 minutes of "Autoeroticism." If you take this literally, it, of course, means masturbation (hopefully, her and not you). But everyone I talked to agreed (and the girls all enthusiastically emphasized) that it really means sex. I didn't try it, but it seems that it was true (and also seemed true for all other Prague strip clubs, except for Goldfingers, which didn't offer that option). In fact, most of the girls at Darling never danced on stage and seemed there only for this option. In the various Darling showrooms, there was no hint of all the fun that must've been going on in the back rooms (and I hope someone else will write more about all this fun).

So despite the fact that Darling was so classy that you could take your girlfriend or wife there, and several folks were doing so when I was there, the place was technically a whorehouse.

By the way, be careful in Prague, as the term "Cabaret" can mean anything from a brothel to a karaoke bar, and you probably wouldn't want to visit one when you wanted the other. Also, beer is cheaper than water in Prague, and at Darling it was actually one third the price of water or soda.

Finally, I'd like to whine a bit about the high-priced and very lame (non-sex) private dances at Darling (and other Prague clubs). Why do they offer a product that's essentially nothing more than their stage show--for about half the price of actual serious sex? You'd think that, if some Prague cabarets offer sex for $125, most of its cabarets would offer at least a two-way contact clothes-on lap dance--and not a silly air dance--for no more than half the price. It's as if a restaurant offered for about half price just a whiff of its steak dinner. As a result of Prague's unrealistically high prices and lame private dances, during my visits to Prague clubs, no one was buying them, and all the girls spent nearly all of their time sitting around doing nothing or hustling without success. Clubs in a few American cities have figured out that charging half the price nets three or four times the number of dance purchases and so makes much more money for the club and the girls. You can get a serious two-way full-contact lap dance in strip clubs in Kansas City, L.A., or Columbia, South Carolina for about $20 (places where sex is most definitely not an option), and the girls there are so busy that it's often difficult to get their attention. And it's much more fun for everyone. Furthermore, why aren't prices lower on, say, Sundays and Mondays when demand is much lower (and the girl quality somewhat lower, too)? This is all simple economics, but I guess the world's great geniuses aren't involved in strip club management. So, if you have any influence with Darling management (or that of another Prague cabaret), please consider mentioning this.

Most definitely a brothel, but it still has a strip club feel. Dancers, lap dances for a moderate fee, nude pole dancing, and some spectacular looking women. For me, the language was an issue, as the women did not speak a common language except Czech. Although there are Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Slovakian, Thai, and who knows what other ethnic and language groups represented, they seem to speak Czech in most situations.

One dancer told me some women will provide the full menu, others will not, but I had money changing issues (no travellers cheques accepted) and shared only drinks with one women. I saw some 10's here this evening, and there were some 65 women throughout this entire place. Definitely a place to go back to, which I am planning as I type this.

Well, was there last night and it was quite amazing! The place is very large and nicely decorated as far as places like this go. It is definitely a whorehouse but one that has mostly 7's and a few 8-10's thrown into the mix. It was a $8 cover to get in and then the drinks are pretty expensive, around $12-16 a drink depending on what you ordered. If you stick to the cheap "Topvar" beer, it is only around $4 for 12oz beer that's decent. Ok, on to the women. This was a Wednesday night around 11pm and the girls out numbered the guys 5 to 1 easy. There were some real lookers but I was told that some only did the dance/strip thing and no sex and others did everything you wanted. My buddy decided to partake and he told me he was taken into one of the rooms and the girl tried to upsell everything to him telling him it was only the room for the price that he was quoted. Well, he speaks the local language and negotiated, or more like told her, ok, it's this or nothing. It was a mood killer but he decided to go through with it and spent around $120 for a CBJ and straight sex. She was a cutie though so I will give him that but the upselling was defnitely not good. With so many women around they were trying to get as much $$$ as possible to make the night I suppose. Other than that, we had some girl come over to the table every 10 mins or so offering herself to us. It was fun and defintitely worth the $8 cover. Just watch the drinks as they are very expensive and the drinks for the girls run about $20 each. I am told they have real alcohol in them so if she stays with you and drinks awhile she would get a buzz and who knows... better action for you when you decide it is time to take her to a room?

I would definitely return just to hang out and see the girls as this place had some really hotties.
