Went to this club on Thursday and Saturday (8/16). Overall its a fairly decent club with decent crowd. My reason for visit was its feature porn star performance. This club receives 6 rating because of average quality of dancers. Ironically the drink servers were more pushy than the dancers. First club where server asks to buy her a drink. On both the nights I reached around 10:30 ish and stayed till closing (1pm).
Club has a fairly lit and seem to be safe parking. Bouncer seem to be easy going fellow. Contrary to my belief, dancers on Thursday were better than on Saturday. There was one hot latina on Saturday. Fairly clean restrooms. 2-3 couples were present, so women friendly. Avg. drink price was 7.50 for scotch and 5.50 for imported beer. They serve free burgers too sometimes. Lap dance mileage varies by dancer. Lack of privacy during lapdances. There are a few sofas put side-by-side with beaded curtains. There are 1-2 bouncers constantly monitoring the area. The curtains are totally transparent. Don't expect any privacy there.

Overall, a nice and seem safe club to visit if you are in the area even if you have ladies accompanying you.

Formerly known as The Blue Parrot this club changed hands, for a short time became Club Gazelle and is now known as Hollywood. This club has changed dramatically. First off it's had a major face lift ... new seating, lighting, stage, etc... More importantly the clientele and quality of dancers have changed. Unfortunately the changes have not been for the better, unless you are blown away by glitzy lighting and much younger but clueless dancers. I went on a Tuesday evening. First thing I noticed is that the stage has been changed. Sitting at the tip rail you are now on eye level with the dancer's feet. You have to crane your neck uncomfortably to watch the on stage action. I much preferred the old stage when this place was the Parrot where the dancers performed on a somewhat sunken level in front of you. I went on a Tuesday night and I counted about 8 dancers. Most need to go on a serious diet and shed a good 20 pounds. There's a pole but nobody was using it well. I was totally unimpressed. Then I caught sight of one chick who was a definite 10 so I stuck around. But she was even more disappointing than all the others. At the tip rail she made no contact whatsoever ... I'm not even talking skin. There was no eye contact, no verbal communication, Nothing. As she "undressed", if that's what you want to call what she feebly attempted, it became clear that she was wearing a Victoria's Secret push up bra which would never come off except for a quick peek pull-the-cup-down a bit routine AND she had on two pairs of underpants. Give me a break. You see more on a beach. I left this place very disappointed. It reminded me too much of the Rockstar Lounge in Wolcott, yet another local establishment where the talent has taken a huge dive south while the owners create a very glitzy environment. I don't need all the flashy lights and decor. Gone are the ladies who knew how to dance and provide real contact. I got some of my best lap dances both here and at Rockstar but those days are clearly over. Shame. I'll give this place a two only for its clean bathrooms.

The old Dirty Bird is no more! The new place is now called Club Larelle ( at least I think that was its name - it was hard to read their new sign!)The cover was a reasonable $7. The interior is totally remodelled and clean. I went on a Saturday night and they had a live DJ. It wasn't too crowded and the audience was mixed - there were even a couple of guys who brought in their dates. Drinks go for $3.50.

There were 6 girls working with two on stage about half the time. The girls varied widely from marginal to hot. Lap dances were $25 in a private room. I had 2 very enjoyable lap dances with very accommodating dancers who allowed me a lot of leeway on what I could get away with in private. It was a fairly pleasant experience over all and a place I would go back to again.

They spruced it up (but didn't pave the parking lot). Inside, it's much the same. A wide quality variance from girl to girl. All in all, an OK place, but don't expect any extra for your money. If you are in the area, it's an OK place to stop at. Note that they seem to start charging cover earlier than most clubs in CT. Best to arrive by 5:00.

I was actually surprised. Was here during a weeknight around 11:00 or so. There were at least 6-8 girls working, most of them at least a 6. The place was very nice in sound. Big bar area, large stage area. I didn't partake in the backroom this time. If I am not mistaken, most of the girls are saw were white, probably all 25 or younger. No chub-a-lubs.

Seems that the refurb is for the better.

I really prefer a more "upscale" club. So, this place just did not do it for me. I visted a couple of times during the day several weeks ago and was not impressed. I got dragged into this place by a friend from work who enjoys seedy, low class, dives. I'm sure his rating would be higher as he seemed to enjoy himself. It was the middle of the afternoon and there were three girls (Latinas) working and none spoke much English. One did communicate well enough to pester me for a drink. I obliged but did not partake in any other activities. This place is currently closed for renovations and believe me it needs it, badly. Maybe after the owner pumps some money into the business and paves the gravel parking lot I'll make a return visit, maybe not.

I was there last night for the first time .. there were about 7 girls there and only one or two were good looking .. an hour into it, 30 cops busted in with Liquor Agent shirts on and checked everyone's ID's and no one was dancing so we left...bad time
