The Venus is getting more consistent, and the quality of dancer is getting better. The area is still on the decline, and uncle LEO continues to keep a watchful eye on the establishment. But, overall, the girls are better looking and in better shape than in the past.
Expect a $3 cover on most evenings, which seems to be designed to keep some of the less desirable element out of the bar. There is a lapdance area, which does not offer any privacy. Drinks are reasonably priced. It remains consistent.
I can't give the venus anything better than a 3. The dancers are so ugly, so many of them should never get undressed in the privacy of their own homes, much less as a job. The crowd though is just as bad as the dancers, way to many street people. Bad parking situation too. Drinks were cheap which is why this isn't a 2. It a black girl club, but not a good one and little to no contact at all. Drive a couple blocks and go to Kahoots and see nice looking women.The best thing about the venus is it's cheap.
The quality of dancer is on the rise at the Venus; mostly black. The manager has done a good job in terms of working with what he has at the Venus to provide a nice, neighborhood bar, experience.
With a rise in the quality of dancer, there has been is a rise in the clientel so to speak. Some fine times can be had at the Venus. If they only had a better lap dance area, I would consider it a very good bar. For now, it is a good ole' dive bar with a bunch of reasonably attractive black chicks dancing.
Stopped in for the first time last friday. They had real dancers....nothing fake there. But what caught my eye was the bartender. She was friendly, liked to chat, provided great service, and looked nice too! She was funny and quick on her feet......always ready with a joke, even when someone was being rude. You can bet when she's there I'll be there...........there is nothing like a cute bartender serving your beer after a long week at work! Trust me guys........it's worth stopping in for her
