Frisky Kitty is not the worst club I've ever been to, but it's definitely not the best. The club is very, very small, with only a few tables and a bench. Also, the stage itself is small, and has only a single pole. Earlier in the night, the club is usually empty, but after midnight I've seen more crowds. The people are mostly friendly, the nighborhood isn't bad either. Too bad its expensive: 10 dollar cover with another 10 for the required 2 drink minimum.
The dancers themselves are also only average. There are all tyes of races, so everyone can find a girl they like. However, almost all of them are aggressive, almost forcing you to get a dance. Dances can range from 25 to 55 dollars, the more expensive ones include drinks. The dancers are nice enough once they start, though. Touching is minimal, but possible.
This club was extremely disappointing for me. The stage is in the center and the private dances are in the back. The push for drinks and dances was more than I expected. In fact one dancer thought I was rude for turning her down for a lap dance even after I bought her a drink.
This is what happened: She came up to me all nice and cuddling up to me demanding that I buy her a drink. I thought by buying the drink she would cool it, but she didn't. When I said "no" to the dance she accused me of being rude and told me to try to have a nice evening. After this, I left. I'll never return again.
What is it with California clubs? Contact is less here than in most of the Bible belt. That was sure true of the Frisky Kitty. The girls weren't bad looking at all, and there was NO pressure for dances. Also the overall atmostphere is not bad. Safe, bouncers aren't obnoxius, yadda, yadda. But you should only come here if you just want to look.
I went to this club last week for the first time. A very small club in the valley. Topless laps are $25 and I hear that nudes are available. About 10 dancers were working on a thursday night. Not a lot of pressure to get dances. The dancers were okay in the looks department but no 9 or 10.
