Finally got a dance with the object of my lust described in an earlier review. Unfortunately, the dance was better in anticipation than reality. It wasn't terrible, but in comparison to how she looked it didn't match up. I left shortly after this letdown. The majority of dancers on shift were generally pretty (the one I got a dance with was definitely the hottest though!). I was killing time anyway so it was no great loss, but don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed.

Not too many lookers this time around. I was in on a Saturday evening this time around and wasn't expecting much anyway. But, lo and behold, the dancer I was never able to catch up to last time was here and sporting a sexy new look. Lovely young girl. Now I have a name and know the days she is supposed to be working. Wow! I think this word suffices. I didn't have time to spend any private time with her this time, but I am arranging my schedule so that I have the time and the money to next time (hopefully soon). I was also here earlier in the week during the day and was glad to see my ATF looking better than ever. She even gave me her myspace site, which I subsequently enjoyed reviewing. What a looker!

I was here on a Friday night recently only because a friend stood me up and I decided this was as good a place as any to hang out until he contacted me (he never did). After a previous disappointing Saturday evening spent here I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. One girl (whose name I didn't catch) was absolutely exceptional. I never got a chance for some up close and personal action, but based on her observed skills I'm sure it would have been well worth it. With her in mind I definitely intend to return on an upcoming Friday. Even so, my favorite, and by far the the best dancer in the Main Attraction, is Victoria who only dances during the dayshift on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday. She is to die for. Time with her is time well spent.

Tale of Two Clubs

What a difference night and day make. Visited the club four times, three during the afternoon and once during the evening, on a recent trip. During the day, the club has a laid back, neighborhood watering hole kind of vibe. No cover. Songs are long, four-minute versions generally played. Drinks are reasonably priced, the waitresses are friendly, and the girls will sit at your table and talk. The girls, sixes and sevens, do two songs on stage with the third song as a transition between the departing and arriving girls. Dancers stepping down work patrons at the rail and closest tables, for tips.

Laps are $20--no volume discounts are negotiable--although at some magic appointed time between 3:00 and 3:30, there will be a special. I saw a $10 per lap one afternoon and a 2 for $20 on another. I sampled a number of dancers, who are generally low-pressure on the salemanship. Sterling, a lithe little brunette had the best skills. The laps, done in an open, adjacent room, performed in large, comfortable leather chairs. As a previous reviewer has noted, dancers remained fully clothed, inluding tops, during laps. This can still be very erotic, imo.

The Friday evening I went, the place had a frenetic feel, which I didn't like. While the girls are eights and nines, they do just one song and then canvas for tips. (You can burn through your ones pretty quickly.) The music has the pulsing techno beat. Some of the dancers though, really had some incredible routines and moves.

So there you have it. A great place to kill a couple of hours on an afternoon if you're driving between LA and San Diego.

Based on a fellow patron's report of 'some real talent' working on Saturday nights I journeyed here on a recent Saturday night. I was unfortunately underwhelmed to say the least. Two 8's working and the rest barely a 5 as far as strippers go. I did not get a dance, although it was good to note that the dances were equally as long at nights as they are during the day, which is when most of my recent visits have taken place. I keep hoping I will walk in here one day/night and have my jaw hit the floor because of the dancer quality. Until that time I will have to make do with daytime visits to my personal favorite who keeps promising a "private rendezvous" but has yet to deliver.

I hadn't been here for probably 15 years. It was one of my first strip club experiences and I wasn't too impressed back then. I was in north county on a date and she wanted to go to a "titty bar" (my, that girl loves her titty bars!) so we ended up there. It's a lot nicer then it was back when, the bar was nice and I was surprised at how many hot girls were there. Nice shows on stage, pretty girls. Topless only of course - which explains why my date and I both got pretty drunk. I didn't get any lap dances (up against the walls) but she did and was disappointed at the lack of contact. Did I mention she loves titty bars? She didn't get the action that she got at the Body Shop. But of course, the Body Shop is nude and has very private booths. Overall, a good experience and a cool place to hang in north county.

Due to a change in my work schedule I can only frequent the clubs during the day. I tried Main Attraction on July 4th only because Cheetahs was closed. The dancers weren't bad, but quality was few and far between. However, the dances are very long and while there is no privacy or touching allowed on the part of the customer the dancers can be counted on to grind away constantly while the song is playing. There were two girls that met my taste (large fake boobs, slender otherwise, pretty face, etc.) and I was told by a fellow customer that some real talent is there on Friday and Saturday nights, but I can't highly recommend this place since there were so few stripper quality looking dancers working when I was there.

The Main A has a great monopoly on strip clubs in northern San Diego country. Not only is it the only one, by it is right by a Marine Corps base, thus which can make the nightly trip more entertaining. Sundays are free for the military. But their everyday cheap drinks in the afternoon with some of the best burgers I've ever had will keep me coming back for lunch. There are only about two ugly girls at the place, so just when they come up on stage, go to the bar and get another beer. The dances are inexpensive as well. $20 dollars for a lap dance, and then they just get cheaper for table dances etc. I will definately be back.

Being the only club in north county they have a captive audience. No cover during the day $8 or $9 cover at night. Drinks are pretty pricey but where arent they? Beer is around $5 and mixed drinks are $6+. Even a coke is around $4. Bouncers and staff are generally very nice and laid back. A pool table in the back.
For the most part cute girls, blondes, brunettes, white, black, skinny, not so skinny. Some of the girls give decent dances but not the best Ive ever had. No private rooms and dances are all $20/song. Generally they dance two songs apiece on the stage.
Overall not a bad place to hang out in the afternoon and have a few drinks or go out to with buddies at night.

I give this club a review based on the look of two girls only. I stopped by around 12:30am on a Wednesday night and hung around until closing time waiting on one particular girl. Unfortunately, her time was monopolized by one customer the entire time so I left without an actual taste of the lap dancing skills. I hadn't been to this club since the early 90's so it was a surprise to see an actual lap dance area although there is zero privacy and all patrons partaking in dances had their hands practically glued to their sides. I would probably return one more time to see if there are any prettier girls and to sample a lap dance. No chance this would ever become my club of choice though.
