I had just come from Monty's to compare what The Fox had to offer. A cab driver told me he thought The Fox was better. It certainly was larger and had a bigger audience. I guess that means the locals like it better.

When I arrived there was a skinny girl dancing nude on stage. She had very small tits. Her main talent was a prolonged handstand while completely nude. Now I have to admit that is a visual image you don't often get at strip clubs. Overall I would rate her a 6 on the proverbial scale of 10. In other words her overall body appearance was at the high end of average. She would get a C+ for a grade in school.

As soon as she finished her dance they lowered four projector screens onto the stage and started showing some kind of sports broadcast. So it seemed the pace was going to be similar to Monty's - very slow.

I asked one of the other customers about private dances. He told me they just don't do that in Victoria. You have to go across the channel to Vancouver for that kind of action. So, just exactly how The Fox might be considered better than Monty's was not apparent to me.

As far as clubs in Vancouver go this is much better. It is a real action packed placed with a very, very lively atmosphere. There were a number of couples there which is not what i am used to south of the border. There was about 20 ladies working that night and most of them were in the 7 plus range. There was a stag party going on that took up a good number of them so there wasn't a great number of them left to work with. All in all, it was a great experience and I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

Visited the Fox on a Saturday night & it was hopping. It seems to be the place to go with a date for the 20 somethings as there were a lot of couples & groups of girls together. Altogether a fun time!! The private dancing however is not worth it (no contact either way). You'll see more at the main stage as the lighting is better & if you tip you will get a good show as long as you aren't embarassed to be seen appreciating the talent.

I was on the Island for a party last weekend and had some time to kill during the day so I figured I'd stop in and check out the Fox so I could post it's first review. It's a nicely laid out club, large and square with a round sunken level surrounding a large circular stage with two poles and a shower off a short runway to one side. Seating is plentiful around the stage, with a circular bench with small tables behind that, and a row of raised bar seating behind that. There are tables along the North, South and West areas behind those seats and booths along the North and South walls. The bar is on the West wall and there are pool tables in the area to the East behind the seats. Restrooms are behind the pool tables and the gent's was clean. The lighting level was fairly high for a strip club and I didn't see any fancy spotlight crap for blinding the patrons at stageside. Beer selection was good, a pint of pale ale ran me $7 with time and service was fair.

Vancouver Island clubs draw from the Vancouver talent pool and, since they have to pay lodging, they tend not to have as many dancers each week as in Vancouver. The up side to this is you get to see the best talent during the dayshift as well as at night: Tia Marie, Striptease and Beverly Blackburn all put on great sets while I was there, although being the afternoon the waits between sets were fairly long. They advertise private dances during the night, so I didn't get to see if they have any house dancers or if they rely on willing stage talent -- I also didn't see where they'd have any "private" area to perform in. However, it's BC so don't expect much in that department anyway if you go.

I was not familiar with Victoria BC so I grabbed a cab and asked the driver for advice. He said there were only two clubs in town, Monty's and The Fox. Monty's was closer but The Fox was better in his opinion. I decided to start with Monty's.

When I entered there was the most beautiful creature dancing on stage that I've seen in a long time. Over the course of my strip-club career I have not rated many girls as a 10. In fact I could probably count them on one hand. This girl was definitely a 10. She looked to be in her early 20's. She was trim without being skinny. She had the most perfectly shaped breasts without a hint of sag and nice erect nipples. Her abdomen was flat and her legs were the exact shape that I prefer. Her bald pussy completed the effect. The only negative was the tattoo between her navel and her puss. I don't care for tattoos on women and this was her only distraction from an otherwise perfect body.

Now I have to say that my rating system is one-dimensional. It covers only the visual appearance of a completely nude female body. It has nothing to do with her personality, intelligence, lovemaking, cooking skills, or anything else.

After this goddess finished her dance she disappeared into the back room and the audience was treated to 20 minutes of rap music and some sporting event on the television. Then contestant number two appeared on stage. She too was lovely but not a 10. She may have been a couple of years older that the first girl. She had really droopy breasts for such a young woman. She wasn't fat but her stomach wasn't quite flat. In fact I wondered to myself if she might be newly pregnant. I would rate her an 8.

After ther three songs she started to walk towards the back room when I asked her about private dances.She said she didn't do them but she knew somone who would and would send her over to me. So I sat there for another 10 minutes listening to rap music. When no dancer approached me for a private dance I decided to catch another cab and visit The Fox.

As a strip club Monty's is too laid back for me. 20 minutes between dancers is about 19 minutes too long. The fact that the girls did not interact with the customers is also a negative in my opinion. For that reason I rated the club a 5.

Not especially a great place to go if you want any contact. I must say the women are beautiful though. I was up on a weekend in January and was impressed with the kindness of the ladies and the quality. The private dances are pretty tame and the drinks are expensive. One dancer named Jillian as extremely nice and spent lots of time chatting. Either these girls do work outside of the club, or they have rich sugar dady's that suplement their income, because they aren't making much dough here....

On the recommendation of a friend who had often referred to it as the "the strip joint most like a family restaurant" I ventured to Monty's on a recent trip to Victoria. I got there around 9p on a Wednesday night. The crowd was the usual weekday mix of baseball caps, women in comfortable shoes and biker types. Not an unfriendly crowd, just more rural than expected. Theatmosphere was somewhat like a roadhouse but in a dingy well used way. Probably not a place to take the family but nice enough for a tray of beers and a basket of fries.
The entertainment was a bit of a disappointment. I certainly understand that Wed night isn't a great night but the evening started with (I want to say Pierced but that wouldn't capture the quantity) Piercings Girl and ended with a woman who obviously had a healthy appetite. Small quiet crowd, so no vigour from the performers. The one exception, or the night would have been a write off, was a cute brunette who worked the room as effectively as she worked her petite behind. The biggest issue was the huge gap between acts. It was so bad that a particularly rowdy group of university students and their dates who looked ready to stay for the long haul actually got up and left after becoming bored with the lack of any action - as did I soon after.
