My first time in an Arkansas strip club and as someone else noted there are just 2 in Fayetteville and they are just a couple of blocks apart. I went to this one first since it looked a little nicer from the outside. It was a Saturday night at about midnight and for some reason it was a very slow night. First off I tried to slip a tip to the dancer on stage but the PA guy reminded everone that in Arkansas you have to just drop the bills on the stage. Only 3 dancers working and one of them left before I did. They were in the 6 to 7 range but they were very sweet and very good dancers. I had a lap dance from each of the 2 left and found out that in Arkansas they cannot lap dance topless - BUMMER. Anyhow both girls were very nice, very genuine, and I enjoyed my experience. LOLA, I miss you!! The bar was nice and the bartender was totally HOT!!....I told her the place would be packed if she would dance. It cost $ 8.00 to get in (3 of which was for a "membership"). Lap dances were $ 25.00 but if you are patient they run 2 for 1 specials (2 songs for 25). Bottled Bud Light was $ 3.00 per.
Overall it was a good experience mainley because the girls were very nice.

So... this website is being very mean to me, it won't let me do what I want :(, so if you have already mentioned this in a post, my sincere apologies.
For me, I ALWAYS dance to songs that I know I would absolutely have sex too. I think the trick to pole dancing is to forget that you are where a forgetable is. Too many people treat the pole like its' the one that misses it and that without it your dance would not exist.
I whole-heartedly disagree. I believe you either love what you do or you don't, and it will show no matter how hard you try to shut it up! Whether it be pole or floor or whatever, every girl is different!
Man.... I love this club!

Having been a dancer at this club for over 3 years, imagine my surprise when I moved back after a year away at college and it was no longer Stephanie's Cabaret, the wonderful, dark, smokey, dive bar!! Now called the Silver Dollar, its certainly been redone cosmetically: new wood tile laid right over the old carpet, big new bar front and center, bright lights to emphasize cellulite (I have none; not a problem for me, but some things men just don't wanna see!)....the bathrooms are no longer health hazard to laugh about, and the drinks prices were raised $1.50 each to pay for the new glasses, I would imagine. Oh, and they raised the ceiling over the stage 2 feet to accomodate the new pole. This would sound enticing, however, being a top-notch pole dancer, I can assure you that when a pole is installed with a slick finish, there's no grip, so the tricks are limited. Mine at home is much better, but I'm sure the new owner has never been on one, or he would've ordered the matte finish instead. Speaking of the new owner, a review I read said there were better dances at Platinum up the street, but guess what?.... they are both owned by the same person!!! Notice the shape of the private dance chairs in Silver Dollar now. With Arkansas' "no-touching" law, its very hard to get close without falling on a customer, so the dances can't be as good. Again, the owner got what was "shiney" rather than considering the practicality of his purchase, silly boy.
As for the dancers, they are pretty average for this area. There are only three topless clubs from the Missourri border to the outskirts of Little Rock, the same man now owns them all, and the dancers rotate as the urge strikes. Because the laws are stricter here than in most other areas, you are more likely to get more real conversation and less hustle. And southern girls are pretty. Flat out.
A customer would more likely be disappointed with the music. When the club was still Stephanie's, it had a D.J., a music computer, and a C.D. player. Now there's simply a person to announce the dancer's name, and the dancer picks her music off of a jukebox. No real personal choices for the dancer there, and no longer can a gentleman be in the mood for a certain song or group and request the D.J. to play it, thus making the D.J. and a willing entertainer a few extra bucks. The new owner had an idea that it would be an all country themed topless club, and although there are a few good tracks on the jukebox, there's also Freddy Fender, Tammy Wynette, and Cole Porter.... I'm not kidding!! Oh, yeah, and bring some quarters because the jukebox does take quarters to play, and if the customers don't donate for the jukebox, the girls have to do it themselves. Classy, huh?!!
As a man, would I go there? For the area, yeah. It is the nicest strip-club interior for miles. And its got a good stage thats not too high so you can get really close & focus on the lady of your choice..

First, a note of clarification. This is no longer Stephanie's Cabaret; the new name is now Silver Dollar. Along with the new name, is new redecorations. Straight-back wooden chairs (which aren't the least bit comfortable), and leather sofas (which also aren't very comfortable) line the walls. The stage area has been increased from before, and the pole has had some clearance added to it, so it doesn't look like the girls are trying to escape into the ceiling anymore.

The bar isn't your regular bar, neither. A semi-circle bar (with silver dollars and half-dollars embedded into the bar itself) and a more open bartender's area. The bartenders' are pretty easy on the eyes, as well. The waitresses are more hit and miss, but they are almost always very friendly. Be nice to them, and they will be nice to you. Once they see that you treat them well, I've found that they will recommend the best dancers. All in all, the decor creates a nice, slightly up-scale feeling.

Unfortunately, for all the good, there is bad to go with it. Maybe its because none of the girls were familiar with me yet, but it's more likely that the rules have changed. The dances I got were frustrating, to say the least. They seemed most determined not to get near me, while at the same time staying close. It wasn't just me, also, because a couple of other guys got the same treatment.

As I mentioned, it's probably a rule change. This rule needs to be scrapped, because I get better dances just up the street at Platinum Cabaret.

Overall: 10 for environment, 9 for staff and an 8 for dancers, and a 3 for the dancing rules.
