It's been a while since I've dropped into Platinum, and even longer since I've written a review. That's mainly because nothing has really changed too much about the club. There's some new furniture, and some minor adjustments to the layout of the furniture in the Champagne Room, but by and large, there hasn't been any really big changes. The parking lot still gets pretty crowded during the weekends, and the asinine Arkansas (or more accurately, Fayetteville) law that prevents any contact between patron and dancer is still in effect.

Maybe I oughta run for office so I can overturn that stupid stuff.

The dancers, however, are a mixed bag. There are some friendly ones, and there are some who quite obviously are only in it for the money. If you have been going to strip clubs for any length of time, you can usually spot these girls and stay away from them. (Unless, of course, you like throwing your money away.)

I went in Wednesday night, and only recognized one girl. Everybody else was new. (Well, new since the last time I was there, which admittedly has been a couple of months.) This area doesn't really have a whole lot of diversity, so if you like Asians, Hispanics, American Indians, or Blacks, you aren't going to find very many. If you like white girls, on the other hand, (and who doesn't?) you will find them in abundance. Most girls in the area, I've notice, tend to have darker hair and more Goth-y looks than anything else.

All in all, Platinum is the best club in the area, for the area. I'll have to go to the other jobs, however, just to verify it.

It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.

I LOVE this club...I started dancing here almost 4 years ago, and the atmosphere is awesome. The club is pretty dingy, but the customers are wonderful and the tension is low. It's a great place to go if you want to see girls that are pretty and have respect for themselves. It's also a place where everyone knows your name.
There is a high turnover with the girls, though. A lot of them don't make it because they are scared or it just isn't what they expected.
If you don't like this club, I also suggest Silver Dollar, which is right down the street, or club hots in Missouri. All of these clubs are owned by Tony C.

I hit both of Fayettevilles only 2 strip clubs on the same night last Saturday. I liked the bar and the girls at the Silver Dollar better but this place was busier and had a few more dancers working. $ 25.00 for a lap dance where the girls cant go topless is a little steep but I went for a couple. Kendall was 5'-9" tall and had a great personality. A few miles on her but it was a really satisfying dance. Had another dance from a younger petite thing, very tight body and very attractive but not the personality the Kendall has. Kendall I will look for you at Night Trips in Tulsa!! Anyway, most of the girls were good dancers but no real beauties. I would rank the girls as 5 thru 7's. I would likely go back if ever in Arkasas again.

If you are looking for a small, casual club that you can hang out and have a few beers in, this is a good club. It is even better if you go when college is in session, because many of the local college girls come out there and hang out too. That said, the quality of the girls is nothing like what you see in big cities, and they changed the law in the Spring of '07, so that the lapdances are less physical (supposed to be no-touching). Cheap beer with a good local crowd, but below average dancers = 7/10.
