Excellent club, I can't recall a time that I didn't enjoyed myself here, the girls are for the most part attractive, the dances very good, the atmosphere very laid back, the waitstaff very friendly and efficient. Easily one of the best clubs in town. I personally prefer the dayshift here, it just seems more relaxed, the crowd at night always seems a bit rough around the edges, too many gangster wannabe's for my taste (don't let that scare you away though because a good time can still be had). I highly recommend.

I wwent to the HiLighter last week on my visit to Phoenix. It was much the same as before. The club has one main stage and the dancers do a 1 song set and then are rotated to the floor. There is also a bar with very good food. Burgers are double and hit the spot. Several large TV screens with latest sports going all the time. There are a lot of dancers that circulate and ask for table dances often. The quality is good and I would recommend this club and will return.

I visited the club Friday at around 10 PM. Surprised when they didn't do the metal scan going in. Business was good but not quite as crowded as I remember from years past (perhaps the gas prices are decreasing disposable income). Lovely women were available but not quite as high quality as I remeber from years past (I'd say mostly 7s, and one was a little sweaty for my liking). I would say the quality of dances is a little better than from years ago (a little less air).
Table service was a little uneven (took about 10 minutes to get one Heiniken by which time I ended up with two). A little more rap than I would like, and a smattering of that type of clientele. But also some couples in attendence. All in all I had a good time, and will definitely look for an opportunity to visit again.

Based on a recent visit, a Friday night May 2008. I don't get out to the Phoenix clubs often but the Hi-Liter has offered me the most consistent satisfaction over time compared to other clubs in the last five years. This includes Amazons, Bandaids, Bourbon Street Circus and Bombshells. (I'll talk about these places in separate reviews) I concede this isn't a large sampling but when I've been in the mood for some stimulation, I can count on finding the kind of women I like and close touching at the Hi-Liter. The club has a full assortment of dancers of all physical types except ugly. If you're looking for outright ugly, go somewhere else. Otherwise, they're consistently rated 6-8.5 in looks and these are not overly dolled up Barbie types. My personal preference is not the plastic Barbie types and that may be a big reason why I like this club. Small breasts, large breasts, real and fake, tall women and short women, they're here. Many years ago it was very unusual to meet a a dancer who was clearly non-white/anglo. Now you have an interesting mix of anglo, hispanic and black dancers, though there was only a couple of black girls this evening.

As with a lot of these clubs a bouncer may ask to conduct you to a table - some think it's a way to collect tips - I routinely say, thanks but I'd like to go to the bar. I like to look over the crowd and appreciate the dancers while drinking a couple of beers.

This evening's attendance was way down perhaps because of all the high school and college graduations at this time of year. I arrived about 10 PM and, though there were some dancers arriving to start their shift, it became clear that some dancers were disappointed with the small crowd that evening and were preparing to leave. A couple of dancers sat at a table together and began smiling at me. When I was ready I found a table to enjoy some hot lap dances. Over the years the touching at this club has become more common but there are rules. Somewhere around my 4th or 5th beer I lost some control and circled a nipple with my finger and I don't think this dancer appreciated it: she glared at me and moved my entire arm off to the side. Oh well. At least I got to give her beautiful ass a good kiss about two minutes before. That was the 3d consecutive dance with her, so she collected a few extra bucks with my included tip. The next song I was in heaven with a beautiful black rear giving me a lap dance and I fondled her hips and rear for three songs.
