Speakeasy is the #2 French Maid. the largest club in Calgary. I cannot understand that a City of over a million people cannot support more than 3 strip clubs. I guess it has something to do with the arms length rules. The girls are very pretty 8's and 9's the food is good and it is adjacent to the best pool hall in Calgary. Most of the cars in the parking lot are patronizing the pool hall.
As far as a strip club is concerned it is just for entertainment.


Big club here with lots of seating and good views of the stage and any TV you want. The usually maid cover applies here after 7pm. Seating around the stage is a little low as the stage is raised. Drinks are a little expensive except around happy hour. Has a games room at the side. Big parking lot and a little tough to find at first. Girls were average with a few lookers and a few not so good. I like the clean girl next door look and there were a few latter in the evening.

The Speak Easy is similar to the French Maid, but it’s south of town and was pretty dead on the Thursday evening at about 9 PM when I visited it, and the dancers were as unmotivated as could be, performing the half-stripteases I mentioned in my review of the French Maid. This was during the Stampede, so I thought it’d be busy, but maybe everyone was at the Stampede… The waitress said that there were only four dancers present that evening (and she implied that this was fairly typical). And despite the few patrons present, it somehow managed to also be the smokiest place I’ve ever been—absolutely suffocating.
