The club has gotten better since i have been back, the girls look decent, the D.J. is cool, hes the former DJ from Divas. the drinks have gone up in price, $4.00 for a beer, and the private dances are different now, they have a small booth near the bathroom for the $20 dances, and the ones near the bar with the curtain are between $30-$50. but more mileage. There is a girl that works there named Matrix, go see her, i think shes still there, she hops from club to club alot though. Also the cover if you are a member is $6 and if you are not its $10 now. The club has also come under new mgt. so they have cleaned the place up.
I have been here several times before. in the past, i gave it an 8. this place has turned ghetto. last year there were about 3 shootings, ALL INSIDE THE CLUB!!!! this place has really been run down by the thugs. all the girls look like they are on crack. i think this club gets all of the rejects or ones that have been fired from other clubs.
Dark and Dingy (even by strip club standards) Diamonds was not what we had hoped for. No girls on stage when we came in and music so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. Eventually pulled a girl on stage and it looked like she had come off the street. Short dance, and lots of attitude (not the good kind) and we were on our way out the door. Won't be back again.
I reviewed this club before and gave it highh marks. I've been back a few times of late, and all I know is that things have changed at Diamond's. Each of the last few times I've been, the girls have been few and barely attractive. In the past, I could enjoy the dancers on stage, but lately I've been staked out by girls wanting to give too-expensive dances almost as soon as I enter the door. The price for dances has gone up, too. It used to be $20 for two songs, now it's $25 for one. That sucks. This used to be a good place; now it ain't anymore. But maybe they'll change back to the way they once were. I'll cross my fingers.
