Overall not that impressed. Went on a Friday night to kill a few hours. About 15 girls working. Place was moderately busy and had two stages going. However, this is one of those places where the "regulars" are greeted and treated like royalty - all of the dancers hang out at the bar with them - and everyone else is treated mostly like outsiders. Almost everyone was interested in taking care of the regulars and there ws not much mingling at all. Stages are topless and you can tip on the rail for some attention like most places in the south. "Private" dances are mostly a waste of time as they are in the wide open area unless you are a "VIP" in which case you get to go past the massive amounts of roped off areas in the corners. Performers mostly 5s with a few 7s. If I lived there, which I don't, I wouldn't go back. All in all much better of going to XTC which, despite being a bit of a hole, has some very hot women and some real mileage to speak of, and is nude to boot.

Let's start at the beginning, the layout and facilities in general. Landing Strip is very close to the airport, hence the name. Convenient location to the Austin Bergstrom and a short ride from downtown. It's east of 35 though, which can be a drag depending on where you're coming from. There is valet service, and it's not hard to get a cab. The building is a large rectangle. One large bar serves the entire place. Drinks are reasonably priced. Management at Landing Strip does a decent job of trying to take care of people but the girls vary from a 3-7. Dances are not quite as fun as other places either. There is no real VIP area, it's an open floor with a couple of steps to go to "VIP". If you only have a couple hours to kill waiting for a flight, this is a decent choice. If you have more time, you might have more fun elsewhere. This place attracts thugish looking customers. The bathroom is near the front, and is a wreck.

Big wide open format - VP is just a fenced in section a foot higher - so no VIP really. Cavernous but nice enough.

Wide range of dancers from 3-8 of all ethnicities with a little more latino than other. Have never been here without finding someone attractive to spend time with and this visit was no excpeption. Got several dances and a couple of drinks from a very attractive black girl who was also good company. Dances were up to par for most Austin clubs - not overly stand-offish.

One thing strange I always notice in this club is how so many of the girls will grab seats and congregate at the bar (far end from the door). I have often been in my seat (sometimes right nearby) and there'll be 3 or 4 in full dancer regalia hanging out chit chatting. Never once had one look over and see me alone, come over and dance for me or anyone else. The good news is that eventually a decent looking girl will come by on the prowl - but never from the crowd at the bar :-) Must have a generous break schedule.

Had a visit here during a layover in Austin. I was there from about 2:00pm until 5:00pm on a weekday. Talent was varied with girls of all shapes, races, and sizes. Earlier poster implied that it was primarily mexican girls, not so. about 1/4 mexican, a few black girls, few asian or indian and the balance white.

They run a $10 dance deal all day until 9:00pm. The dances are done out in the open on chairs or right at your table. Touching was 1 way only. Dances varied from casual brushes and bumps to decent grinds. No full on grinding or horseplay, but decent dances for $10.00. They also run shot specials about ever 30 minutes or so and had a beer special running until 5:00 I think.

Some of the girls were pretty quiet and almost hid from customers when not on stage, others were circulating and having fun talking with customers at their tables, others were just bouncing from table to table asking for dances.

Not the best club I have ever visited, but I will return.
