I think the club is a 10 but that reviewer is clearly a shill. the writing is obviously that of a woman...maybe a dancer at the club?

The reviewer may be a dancer or a loyal female customer, but that does not make it a shill and warrant deleting. However, there are some really nasty and false reviews that warrant deleting. The review by "njscfan" of Hot Lap Dance on July 10 is a fake review which contains outright lies and malicious and libelous accusations. Njscfan is a liar as evidenced by his post in the Discussion Board under "Very (very) Important Note to Founder" on July 10 claiming that he has a 14 inch penis. All of the reviews by njscfan are of New Jersey clubs, and there is a not a single review by njscfan of a New York City club. Njscfan falsely states that the "LD rooms are huge, wide open and very well lit -- so there is zero privacy." The truth is that there are two lap dance rooms which are each broken up into 2 rooms, these rooms are not huge and wide open, and they are always dimly lit. Njscfan states that "The VIP room is even more of a farce. There's nothing private about it either -- it's just a different room, but it's also wide open. And absurdly expensive. No one used it, because nothing was going on there." The truth is that there is no "VIP room" that is wide open, as there are only smaller private VIP rooms and larger private suites. Njscfan falsely states that "the contact is among the lowest I have ever experienced." The truth is that the contact at Hot Lap Dance is among the highest of any New York City or New Jersey clubs. Njscfan falsely states that "Everything -- the cover, the drinks, the VIP rooms -- are all ridiculously overpriced in most NYC clubs...Hot Lap Dance is no exception." The truth is that the prices at Hot Lap dance are fair for what you are getting and that there is no charge for drinks as it is a BYOB bar. Njscfan falsely states that "a one song dance costs $40." The truth is that a one song topless dance costs $20, but only a fully nude song costs $40. Njscfan falsely states that you are "paying a $70 cover (yes, $70) just to get in the door." The truth is that the cover or admission fee is $50 and the one-time membership fee is $20. The truth is that the cover is all inclusive and even on a Tuesday night will include, among other things, a live all nude lesbian show and two live all nude sybian performances. Njscfan has never been to Hot Lap Dance and everything in his "review" is either an outright lie or borrowed from other reviews or the HotLapDance.com website. Njscfan falsely states at the beginning if his review that "when you see a review for this place and it says its the best place "in the world," you know the reviewer is lying." The truth is that there are 89 reviews of Hot Lap Dance in TUSCL and many of the best reviews are from reputable members of TUSCL who have reviewed clubs from all over the country. The facts are that AskMen.com, an internat men's portal with 5 million readers a month, in an article entitled "Strip CLubs: Top 10", Hot Lap Dance is rated as the Number One club "in the world." To find the AskMen.com article, just google "strip clubs" and it appears as the first listing.

The review by "How" on July 12, 2008 of Hot Lap Dance, New York is a fake review. All of the other published reviews by How are from Texas, Nevada, Florida, Oklahoma and Rhode island. Clearly, How has never been to a strip club in New York City, and certainly not to Hot Lap Dance. The gist of How's review is that the prices at Hot Lap Dance are too high. How gets this information solely from a prior review of Hot Lap Dance on July 10 by "njscfan" which states that the cover charge is $70, lap dances are $40 and private rooms are very expensive. How's review makes no mention of the physical attributes of the club, the dancers who he supposedly met or anything about his experience at Hot Lap Dance. If How had really been to Hot Lap Dance he would have realized that the one-time membership fee is $20 and that the all inclusive admission fee is $50. If How had really been to Hot lap Dance he would have known that the admission fee of $50 includes unlimited free soft drinks and mixers, a free hot and cold buffet dinner, free live all nude lesbian shows and sybian shows all night long, unlimited access to the semi-private lap dance rooms with comfortable sofas (which other Manhattan clubs charge up to $500 an hour), and further that the customer saves money because BYOB is allowed. If How had really been to Hot Lap Dance he would have been charged $20 for a topless, full contact lap dance, and only $40 if the full contact lap dance is completely nude.
