This is the worst place, I have ever been. I went there just for curiosity, and at the door they said you have to pay $60 for hiring a room for half an hour and you need to pay at least $20 tip for the model. I accepted and entered; they took my credit card and went to take the money. After that model girl came into the room and said that you have to pay at least $80 tip for half an hour. I was undecided for a moment, but I accepted to give, then girl took my credit card and went again...
When she came, she got undressed and started to dance, after a minute she got undressed, she said if you wanna touch, you should give $60 more.. I was undecided again, and I thought I gave that much amount of money, I want a good night. If it is $60 ahead of me, I will give that amount.
She dressed, took my credit card and went to take the money, again. She came with the credit card receipt to take my signature; she took my signature and went again out of the door...
She came back, when she start undressing, the cassette recorder stuck, and she passed one song away, which was from 6th song to 7th song.
She got undressed and she only allowed me to touch under her knee..
and What!!!
While it is on 8th song, she said that this is your last song..
I said "What the hell are you talking about, we just started with the 7th song, are you kidding me, I paid this thing $200 for just 2 songs??"
She said I am sorry, you just hired the room for 30 minutes, and it is ended up with the 8th song..
I said "OK! This is the last drop but OK, I will hire the room for 30 more minutes by paying $60 more, and you will do what you will do"(Btw, she was not doing anything, she was just allowing me to touch under her knees, she was not doing anything.)
She said "No, then you have to pay $140 more for my second session in this room"
I said "This is the last nonsense I am hearing, I am just going by saving my remaining money".

Well, have to stop in once ayear, right? It was exactly a year...hmmm... $5 at the door, thanks, guv. The music sucked, played for teh dancers, not customers, big mistake. Drink was ok, expensive, though considering teh surroundings. Just no real reason to come back. This place was a bunch of fun about 7 years ago. "Club O" should rename to "Club 0" (zero). To improve, get rid of the grazing cows, get some babes in, and get a parking lot guy.

Went here for a change of pace from other clubs I usually frequent in Austin. I'd heard good things about the Crazy Lady (former name) but they don't seem to have followed over with the name change.

Rather sparsely populated with clientèle which makes the girls hound you a little much for the dances. The girls were average looking, but the dances were very minimal contact. Perhaps I had an off shift, but there seems to be better mileage elsewhere in Austin.

This has always been an interesting joint. Went recently and the girls ranged from 3-8, favorites are Julia and Erotica. Drinks reasonable, parking is and always has been a problem. It is a place where NOBODY would ever think of looking for you. Looks unsafe based on the area it is in, but in 21 years, have had no problem.

Stopped in Saturday, and the joint was jumpin'. Lots of nice eye-candy. A few zort-pigs. Generally ok, friendly, but chose your spot carefully, lots of foot traffic anywhere north of the entrance as far as the VIP entrance. Drinks were ok. Service, sadly, really sucked. First two drinks I went to get at teh rear bar. Great service from the bartenders there. They're just not good to look at. Got a few dances from Kayla.

I was staying nearby and thought I would drop in for happy hour and avoid a drive north in rush hour traffic to Joy of Austin and/ or Perfect 10. Why do I keep giving this club another chance?

I paid my $5.00 pole tax and walked in to find a fairly hot Hispanic dancer working the stage pretty well. A guy tipped her and she brought out the girls: obviously oversized, man mades that did not look very natural. Another guy tipped her and she showed off what appeared to be great legs from under her gown, but never took the gown off. I figured the gown comes off next dance, so I decided to wait one. Song ends and she leaves the stage and disappears.

Two songs of dead stage and still no waitress? I’m thinking about leaving and heading north.

A decent looking Black dancer gets on stage and starts working it pretty well. Several guys tip her and the clothing comes off down to G String. Fairly decent interaction with customers at the stage, but too athletic and not sensual so it didn’t do much for me.

I look around for a waitress, but one is in the raised area near the stage, sitting and drinking with customers. The other waitress is working somewhat, but is too busy with a couple of larger tables to pay any attention to me.

I look around some more and see two OK white dancers sitting at a table with 4-5 working class guys, no dances, just sitting and talking. I think there was another dancer or two there for a total of about six dancers and maybe 20 customers. There was a comfortable mix of customer ethnicity and economic status.

Finally the combination of no service from the waitresses and more dead stage forces me to leave. On the way out of the club I see the fairly hot Hispanic dancer sitting in the DJ booth. I probably would have gotten a dance or more from her after her stage dance, but she disappeared to sit in the DJ booth?????????

I saddle up and head north to Joy of Austin where I spend $ and have a great time. Even with today’s gas prices it just isn’t worth it to go to Sugar’s. Either Joy of Austin or Perfect 10 are SO much better.

I visited Sugar´s on a Saturday night, arriving before midnight and staying until around 3am. The club doesn´t make much of an impression at first--it´s one, long, multi-leveled room--seems a bit run down, and the bathroom wasn´t ideally maintained. The drinks are expensive, and there´s not much selection. They do not make even the slightest attempt to adhere to Austin´s no-smoking ordinance, so if you are a smoker, this place may be for you. I am not a big fan of smoke, but I did not allow that to influence my rating.

The night I was there, I found an intriguing mix of women: 4´s to 8´s, but mostly 6´s and 7´s. The most attractive women there seemed to be the African American and Latina girls. The stage show was fairly low-key, low energy, and the lap situation on the main floor is somewhat dampened by a lack of privacy. From what I could gather by observing others, the dances tend towards moderate, mostly one-way contact. No airdancing going on. I spent some time with a lovely ethnic mix who calls herself Maya. She is a very sweet and engaging person, with a sizzling-hot all-natural body. She looks great on stage, but her lap dances were just average. I also had dances from Paula, a super-hot Latina with gorgeous all-natural DD´s. Contact was mostly just one-way, but she is such a beauty, and such a sensualist, and enjoys touching herself so much that I felt very happy to spend some time watching her wiggle around on my lap. If there had been a lot more girls as ravishing as Paula, I would give this place a much better rating. But the combination of the lack of atmosphere, general lack of talent, lack of high-contact dances, and high drink prices resulted in my rating. Of course, when I visit the Flight Club in Detroit (Inkster) and they charge $12 for a water, I figure it comes with the territory, because the setting, the talent, and the contact are consistently first-rate. I still think the best bet in Austin is the Yellow Rose.

I went by around 2:00 p.m. today (Sunday) and things were very slow. I paid my $5.00 pole tax and went inside to discover no dancer on stage. I looked around a bit and saw maybe 3-4 dancers, 2 waitresses, a bar tender and about 15-20 customers. Only one of the dancers was even talking to a customer.

The waitresses weren't too prompt, so I got a beer from the bar and sat down a row back from the tip bar. A couple of songs later a black dancer did get on stage and do a couple of dances that were largely ignored by the customers. She was about a 6, but did make some effort to do a decent stage dance. She was followed by 2 songs of nothing.

Then a latino dancer (5) with a nice ass and very small tits came on and dances most of 2 dances. She did seem to give another customer his $1 worth when he tipped her on stage and I was going to go up next when she walked off the stage in the middle of song#2. She was followed by 2 songs of nothing.

The DJ announced the next dancer and midway through the song she got on stage wearing a t-shirt. She was about a 6-7 young white girl who seemed to have little understanding of what to do on stage. After the 1st song ended, she did take off her t-shirt to reveal decent natural tits. I went forward and tipped her, but she only spent a moment with me before she wanted her $1. ????

A dancer did come by and ask if I needed some company and I would have asked her to sit down for a chat probably leading to dances, except I had seen her walking around with a lit cigarette a minute earlier and could clearly smell the cigarette smoke on her. Why does management let them stroll around with lit cigarettes???? This is a big no-no in better clubs.

The waitress finally noticed me and came buy asking if I needed another beer. I told her that I was bored and would probably be leaving soon. She apparently told the black dancer who came by. I wasn't interested in her and she apologized that there were only 6 dancers and that they were all pretty new except for her. I could see that things weren't going to get any better so I left.


Now work in the AM, so decided to check this place out on Sunday. Not bad at all. Lots of very nice eye candy, ranging from 6-9's. No attitudes. Cheerful. Maybe it was timing, I'll be back. One girl, not a regular there came over and eventually got two dances from me, she was "Coco", a oriental looking girl. She was pretty good. Great personality. Good mileage with dances, though not very private. But...after waiting 20 minutes for a waitress, and seven of them almost tripping over my feet, I wen to the bar and bought a drink. What's up with that? Overall, this could be fun, if you bring a fun attitude.

Tues night : beer, wine , and most mixed drinks $4.00. Lots o' dancers on duty. maybe 25 or so. Ranged from 4-9, most were 7 or above. many natural, a lot of thinnish types with body art, but they were beautiful. Lasp are $20, but not at all private. No need to share names, because the laps wre fun, but not heavy on mileage. Music was a bit loud, and lots o' hip hop being played. Crowd was good, pretty mellow. Lots of fun. I will return to watch the pretty girls. Don't expect a lot of action.

Sugar's Uptown Cabaret is located next to Highland Mall just west of I-35. The club has an L-shaped layout where the toe is occupied by an open VIP area with an entrance fee of $100 per evening. There are semi-private booths located at the entrance across from the bar with a fee of $60 per hour. The booths appeared to be a non-performing asset as they were never occupied the two nights I was at the club. There are two stages, the main one next to the VIP area.

Sugars is a high contact club with a variety of dancers whose appearance spans the range from 2 to 10. Some are very attractive. On a Tuesday and Wednesday nights in October there was a very high ratio of customers and dancers. Many lap dances occur in the main seating area, occasionally obstructing customer's paths.

I spend time with Kim, a dynamic blonde with a trim body and endearing personality. I rented a semi-private booth for a ½ hour ($40) for a couple of lap dances where she teamed with Brooke, a very attractive brunette, and the two ladies provided a delightful demonstration of southern hospitality.

My second visit was preceded by a couple of hours at Joy of Austin, but lack of activity prompted a departure to Sugars Uptown Cabaret.


I'll agree with all of the comments about slow waitress service. No idea what's up with that, but after a trip to the ladies' room I have my suspicions.

The crowd here is very, very young, overwhelmingly so when compared to P10 or the Yellow Rose. Lots of really loud hip-hop and lots of strobe lights make for more of a nightclub atmosphere. Girls are more tattooed here that I used to see, as well, and possibly more intoxicated.

Sugar's does have a pretty great variety of women ethnically, though, which is sometimes missing in Austin clubs, and it was nice to see some gorgeous women of color. The stage shows were decent, but I didn't see a lot of lapping going on, and in the 45 minutes my group was there we weren't approached once by any dancers, so I can't speak to the quality of the dances. I prefer more laidback environs, but for bachelor parties and groups where the focus is drinking, I'm sure it's fun.

Sugars has improved a lot in recent months. I still dont like the facilities and the open nature of the layout, or how long it takes for the waitresses to bring drinks. However, they have some really good talent working there these days. I would definitely check this place out again. Once you walk in, the first thing you see is the cashier. Inside the place there are 2 stages in the back, and a bar area back there too. There are tables and booths in this section. The front part of the club is where the main stage and VIP is. There is another bar here. I'm surprised that with 2 bars, and the fact that the place overall is not enormous, it takes as long as it does to get service. However, like I mentioned earlier, they bring in the talent which is what counts.

Went to Sugars late on a Tuesday night. The parking lot was packed around midnight and the club was nearly full too. Paid $10 cover and found a seat near the 2nd stage. Took forever to find a waitress. Once I ordered a drink, it took her 20 minutes to come back snd ask what I wanted because she forgot. 10 minutes later I had a drink. Now on to the important stuff. The club is a long narrow place. One end has a large stage positioned between a VIP area and some tables. About 10 yards in front of the main stage is the second stage, a round small stage with one pole. Girls did 2 songs on each stage. I didn't see any place to get a private dance. I did see people getting lapcances, but they were done right at your tables -- NO PRIVACY... I was in the club for about an hour and a half and never saw the same girl on stage twice. Most of the girls were in the 7 to 9 range. Did see a couple I would call 10s. Also saw a couple not worthy of a 6. All in all the girls are great looking. I'm giving the place a 5 simply because of the atmosphere. The whole time I was in the club, not one dancer aaked if I needed company. I could tip. I could motion. I could stare. Nothing would bring the girls over. I'll try again in hopes of a bad night.

It is certainly nice to see this club regain some status in Austin. I have been here three times in the last 4 months. One attractive woman after another on stage. This was the place in 2000 but dropped off dramatically for five years. I think it is back in a big way. I visited on Thursday afternoon and received some very friendly dances in the back booths.

I would rank Sugars with Palazio and Perfect 10 as the best in Austin.


I dropped in for a meeting of friends, this being my first visit. Club was nice, clean from what I saw, and the management and waitresses were quite attentive. Lots of hot girls working. They seem a bit more on the inky side, with a bit more body jewelry than the average citizen, but many were quite hot. If you like the herion chic look, this place can deliver. I do like that look, btw. But I like it all! I especially liked a girl named Nikki- both nips pierced. Not sure why I didn't work on that... OK, I was distracted by my friends, who were also quite attractive. Long story short, I WILL do this place again when I am alone, and not distracted. Looks like fun.

Me thinks that folks that work at the Yellow Rose give some of the other clubs bad reviews while giving themselves glowing reviews over and over again.
Being a customer, I thought I'd try to give an accurate review of this place.
The girls could be better looking, but the same could be said of any club in Austin these days. Why they let chubbies, and girls covered with tats through the door over and over again is a mystery, but that's Austin.
The music could have been better, didn't really match the crowd. Not as much rap music as say the Yellow Rose, but still too much.
They've recently done some remodelling, looks a bit nicer in there. They've also added some semi private dance areas and booths/couches, but the location of these is bad. Would have been better if they had just made one large VIP section. As it is now, there is not much privacy in the booths/couches area.

Club regularly runs drink specials, which I enjoyed. They also have ten dollar dances until eight! Can't beat that, just wish I had seen more girls worthy of spending my money on. Shame it's so hard to find that in Austin.


Sugars has new managers now that seem pretty good. The service here is not quite up to par with other bars, but they have some decent talent. They have some really good drink specials during the week that are worth checking out.

Not impressed. I went on a Sunday night to catch Sunday night football. Sugars was recommended as a spot to watch games along with an added bonus. The interior is past it's prime. There were two stages going but the talent was clearly lacking for even one. I didn't get a dance but they appear to take place at your table. Sugars needs a major overhaul to be considered an upscale gentlemen's club.
