I went to Emerald City the other evening and had a great time. The club opens at 2 pm. I got hter at about 6 pm and stayed until 9 pm, so I was able to see girls from the day shift as well as the night shift. There is no cover charge from 2 pm until 8 pm. There were more girls for the night shift, but there were still 5-10 for the day shift. The girls were very friendly. There was a good variety of girls. Summer and Chloe give the best lap dances. I will definitely be back. It was well worth the money I spent.

I've had the chance to do a bit of traveling this week and thus have visited a number of clubs. The first was Emerald City in Charleston. The club opens at 2 but the danceers were very slow in arriving. Finally Nadia came out and sat with me. She was a very attractive young woman who looked barely old enough to be working. We split a shot of Johnnie Walker and the went for our private dance. She was gorgeous but there was very little grind and the little touching that we had was strictly one way. I could have very easily enjoyed my time with her but the rules, hers or the clubs, were just way too strict.
When we left the provae room there were still no dancers on stage so I split.

This is a pretty standard topless strip club. I wasn't necessarily disappointed, because I normally enjoy a good dive. But, I wasn't impressed either. The DJ advertised 10 dollar table dances, and every girl tried to charge twice that. The women were all gorgeous though. I'd give them 8-10. All natural women, with real boobs and great bodies. There were two ladies from Hungary, who were absolutely wonderful. Many college students dance at the Emerald City. Lap dances were $30.00, which is average for this area. They were okay, but the two I experienced were nothing to write home about. Drinks on the other hand were very over priced. 2 shots of Patron (which tasted very watered down) and two beers equaled $27.00. Yikes.

I enjoyed the place, but the bang for your buck just isn't there.

Disaster of a Day shift. Maybe the night gets better after 9pm, but I gave it a try ...
DJ takes a holiday sometimes and there is no dancer of music. I've never been in club where that happens.

I asked a manager to get summon a girl frient the locker room, I saw her earlier, for a dance. He said she was freshening up and would be at in a minute or two. 1/2 hour later she showed up on stage. I tipped her well and asked for a dance when she was done on stage. Said, " Sure thing" never saw her again. I never saw a dancer less interested in making money.

They are retarded here. But the $10 talble dances are good. Much better than the $40 nude dances across the street.

I was thinking of moving to Charleston. After this , I don't know

LAME !!!

I was in the EC last Friday and had a fantastic time. Charlestonian hospitality with tits! There's a slim blonde who likes to wear cowgirl getups..(and of course i forgot her name, LOL!)..Man she can drive her spurs whereever she wants...great action in the back (with a little extra tip), but let her tell you where you can touch, don't just be crass and think you can grab a tit off the bat. Drinks are good, free pour. Sound system is not overloud, you CAN hear yourself think. Melissa is a dark haired, doe-eyed, nice-chested waittress: be sure and get her to wait on you-she is without a doubt one of the best, most personable I've run into in a long time: great on service! It a well run operation, no problems, no sleezeballs running around-everyone looks like they're having a good time working there--which is what I want to pay for when I go. The rest of the dancers ranged from 5 or 6 up to a couple in 9.5 range. DJ is good, doesn't bore you to death, isn't intrusive. Will defintely be back. Don't worry about where it is: it IS in industral N. Charleston but in either direction on I-26, you are just a short hop(200-300 yds) from interstate to the club and back again: easy on and off. No cover till 8.

This place is in the same building as the old DIAMONDS. The club is now called EMERALD CITY. It has the same layout, bar, carpeting and everything else as Diamond's. The girls were all very firendly on stage. Most of them are rated 6-8 and were very friendly. Music was good. The DJ was absolutely the most annoying DJ I have ever heard in a strip club. He chastised the girls several times on the microphone, talked about how used to be in the radio business many years ago(like anybody cares?) and in general was a major tool. Private dances varied from $30-$40 depending on the girl and were hands on. Table dances were $10-$15 depending on the girl. Cover charge is $7 after 8pm. Beers were $4.50. It was about the same experieince as when the club was Diamonds. This place is worth a trip.

Stopped in here on my trip to Charleston by a recommendation from a stripper that used to work here.

First off the name of the place is now Emerald City not Diamonds.
It's located in a somewhat seedy industrial area.

After walking in and check out the place, it has one main stage in a lower level and a couple of smaller dance areas on the upper entrance level of which no girls were dancing on a saturday night.

Was told by the girl that used to work there that laps were full contact and $250 for an hour in the VIP which is what interested me in going to this place.
But after getting there i found out that the VIP is $350 for 1/2 hour with floor dances $10-$15 and private dances $30.
So i decidied to check out the private dance with a Blonde with a nice body.
Paid the russian mob at the door way and walk back to a curtained booth. Sat down and thought this would be good for $30. She was the hungarian girl with perfect b-c cups and nice ass. Hmmm, grabed a little ass to start out and was told that's not permitted! huh? only one way contact albeit pretty decent you can only touch legs or belly.
Hmmm, decided to try another girl. Paid the russian and headed back again. Hmmm this mexican mixed girl was agrressive but no touching at all! She did some decent grinding but one way laps are not for me.

Didn't even think about trying the VIP after to so so dances. and headed out to southern bells across the street to see what kind of action was there.

This club always get a stop (sometimes 2 or 3) from us when we are in town always nice girls good music and cold beer The last trip there we met a Hungarian girl who was very hot even though she could barely speak english and didn't seem to understand the compliments i gave her when i tipped her at the stage but she made up for it with her smoking hot lap dances. Never miss this place if you go to Charleston

This is clearly the best srtip club in Charleston. The girls there are really down to earth and know how to have a conversation. Don't get me wrong I go there or reasons other talking but is good not to be talking to some idiot trying to get my dollars. Girls are definitely gorgeous and like to have fun.

Diamonds has undergone an improvement over the past few months. I think the women have improved significantly over several months ago. Almost noe of the regulars were there (unless they have gotten new regulars in the recent past). The club is a prety typical layout, on stage in the middle with seats around it, booths in the back, a VIP room in the front (which has see-through glass on the door, by the way). THere are tables throughout the club and a bar near the entrance. Cover was 7-10 bucks (i can't remember which). ANywya, there was a good variety of girls. THe two I got dances from were excellent. One was a well endowed girl who was an excellent dancer and gave a lot of contact. THe other girl was skinny, but also gave a great dance. I had to stop her before a mess was made. In any case I am much happier than last time I was here. THe club was about half full, which I think is typical. I was there on a weeknight.

Visited Diamonds on a Thursday afternoon around 4:30, no cover charge and the place was rocking with 13 girls, all shapes, color and sizes. During Happy Hour, the girls dance on the cat walks close to the bar. The bartender Toni was great. Great tipping at the stage, and very good private and table dances. Dayshift girls have that little extra attention to detail.

Things are getting better at one of Charleston's older clubs. Visited on a Saturday night in June. Cover is $10. The selction and the quality of girls has increased greatly in the last year. Plenty of hot younger girls of all shades and sizes. Had two private dances (2 for $35 during their "promo", 2 for $10 at the table during "promo"). My dance got one way touching, nipple sucking and rubbing her hand all over my nether regions. I highly reccomed stopping back in this place, especially if you have not been in a while. The shot girl (who has been there for years and loves giving shots from her ass/breasts to female customers) is still there. Lots of straight and no so straight female customers too. Beers $4.50. Girls now have to pay the cover (they used to get in free0---IMHO, they should always allow chicks in for free).

Overall the club is nice. It's been slow for awhile, but I am told business will pick up soon. I've been there only a few times, but have found that the bartenders are great, the dancers are hot and the dances are a good time. As you walk in, the bar is in fornt of you. Past that you go down a couple of steps where the main stage is. I've been told that this is the best club in the Charleston area.

This club seems to be on a downhill slide. The decor and furniture are dated and worn. I was there on a Wednesday night and the place was nearly empty. Within 30 minutes of arriving, only two girls danced on the main stage. There were a few dancers doing table dances and talking with customers. Eventually a girl came to our table and asked if we wanted a private dance. I asked about a table dance and she said she didn't feel like it and that it would be worth the money to go to the private area. No one in my group took her up on her offer. We finished our drinks and decided to leave. We were rather disappointed with our visit to Diamonds. On the way out we noticed that the best looking girl in the place was the bartender. This club may be better on a weekend night, if not, I don't know how they will stay in business.

I visited this club on a recent visit to Charleston. As with the all nude club across the street it is located in an industrial section of the city. Nevertheless it is easy to reach from the expressway and the parking lot is large and accessable. This club is topless only and accordingly serves alcohol. On the night I went there was a nice selection of girls. Since I arrived late I did not get any couch or back room lap dances. The couch dances are done against the wall in the main room and seem to offer pretty good one way contact. The stage tipping was light contact. Most of the dozen or so girls on duty that night were young and very attractive. On my next visit I will sample the lap dances to see how they compare with other clubs in South Carolina.

Diamonds on a Sunday night was good but nothing compared to the club's glory days back in the 90s. Today, they are good, but not great. Their sister club across the street, THe Southern Bell, is a much better experience on almost every level. Diamonds has redesigned the main stage to where there is only on pole and one runway(there used to be two poles and two runways--and two main stage dancers at the same time). The number of girls working was about 7 or 8. There used to be double that on a good night. Couch dances (not private) had very little contact and cost $20 (some girls asked for $25 but would drop their price if you asked). I did not get a private dance in the back on this evening. On Sunday night, this is the onluy club in town that is open. The overall experience is OK, but other clubs (The Southern Bell and The Joker) are much better in the contact, contact, number of girls and quality of girls departments.

Club Diamonds is a medium-sized club on Charleston's "sin strip." It has a runway-style stage with two poles and a spiral staircase leading from a dressing room. The bar is near the entrance, which is raised higher than the rest of the club, and most patrons sit near the stage at small tables scattered around the room. Every few hours, the DJ announces a "special," where the mostly hot girls working on a given night descend down the staircase, line up across the stage, and proceed into the audience to promote 2-for-1 table dances and a free T-shirt for $10. Other than that, table dances are $10 and private VIP rooms are $30. Sometimes there is a line for the VIP rooms, which can be awkward but is usually not a problem. I was particularly smitten with one lithe blonde schoolgirl named Snow who gave me table dance after table dance with such sweetness that I couldn't complain about the fact that it was very low-contact (mostly knee and hair--but I loved every second of it). I should have tried her in the VIP room, maybe she would have loosened up a little bit. There were about 15 girls working on a weeknight, and the majority of them were attractive, if not downright smokin'. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town.

Best club in the Charleston area, great staff and a lot of girls, 10 - 12 for day shift and over 20 at night. Happy hour is from 2 - 8 and beers are 3.25. I prefer day shift to the night shift, day girls are friendlier and closer. Diamonds is the club of choice in Charleston.

Decent club in a rough looking commercial district just north of Charleston.

Upon entering, you pass the bar area and take several setps down to the main seating area. There are tables, with moderately comfortable chairs around the one main stage, which is a standard T stage with a pole near the base of the T in the center of the seating area. The stage is well lit, with plenty of rail area for tipping.

Dancers were a well-rounded selection of ethnic groups, with decent bodies. While I was there on a late Wednesday evening, there were still 8 dancers on duty, with most of them making the rounds with customers when not dancing. All of the dancers were courteous and willing to thank out-of-towners (me and the coworker I was there with) for the tips given while onstage.

Lap dances were offered, and the ladies were polite, regardless of the answer to the request. None of them were pushy in their attempts to further their business. When performed, the lap dances were aggressive, with lots of eye contact, plenty of movement and a moderate amount of body-to-body contact throughout the performance. Being from out-of-town, I did not attempt to get too frisky; however, all of the dancers permitted hand contact with their legs during the dances.

Private dances are performed in curtained alcoves in a hallway located behind the stage. Lighting in the booths is still acceptable to allow a nice closeup view of the dancer. I did not notice a bouncer in the hallway during the entire 45 minutes that I spent in the private booth. Dances in the private booth are performed for tips on a song-by-song basis, with a one-time charge to the house for the room. Contact was slightly more liberal, with some touching allowed on the stomach and lower back areas and more close body contact on the dancer's part. Once again, due to not being a regular, I did not explore more aggressively.

Overall, I would visit this club again on any visits to Charleston.

Pretty girls. The full nude bars in South Carolina have a law against serving drinks. This one is only topless. Not the nicest part of downtown charleston. It looks a lillte run down. Could be better, could be worse I guess.

This is a nice club, the girls are nice, its a topless strip club though. So no fully nude girls here. They have food there and drinks. Its not byob. They arent open as late as Thee southern belle which is right across the street.

I went to Diamonds on a Wednesday night. Cover charge was $7, and it was a decent crowd, but easy to find a seat. There is an island bar at the entrance, with two small dancer platforms flanking stairs that lead to the main area (those platforms were not being used while I was there, only one dancer on the main stage at any time). The main area has a large stage and a smaller walkway that juts out into the room. Comfy chairs, but several of them had rips in the fabric -- was this a converted bus terminal? Behind the stage are the back rooms, a well lit hallway with several very dark rooms closed off by curtains only. The rooms are about the width of the loveseat wedged into the back of them.

The men's room was small, and had an attendant working it. I'd rather get my own soap and have that guy reupholster some chairs, but that's just my opinion.

There were about a dozen dancers working the room, maybe one for every 2-3 patrons. On an attractiveness scale of 1-10 with 10 being insta-drool and 1 being insta-wretch, there were girls in the 5-8 range. I did not see any dancers with obvious bolt-on breast implants, which is a huge plus for me. The girls looked pretty natural.

The dancers also seemed willing and able to have a good time themselves. Giving one a dollar and asking them to tip the dancer on stage invariably led to a nice little bit of girl-on-girl action. This happened at least three times while I was there, with different dancers in on the act each time. At another point, a couple of dancers liked the song that was on so they just got up on the platforms by the bar and started working it. There is also a shooter girl working the room. So the atmosphere seems like it can be a fun place.

Drinks were reasonable. My beer was $4.50. A shot from the shooter girl was, $7 or $8 I forget which. Regardless, I gave her $15 and she seemed pretty impressed with the tip.

The $10 table dances in the front room are mostly air, but there is some brushing. The $25 dances in the back involved a little more grind, but more on the chest than the lap. For my money, that is not worth it.

I will likely go back because I had a good time, but if I get any dances, I will stick to the $10 table dances in the front room.


Inside is setup real good since the main stage has been re-done. Only draw back is the camera that was installed in the private room off of the bar. Before this camera was installed, some of the girls were almost anything goes during a dance, if you are a regular. Girls are pretty average. You can have a pretty good time during the happy hour from 2-8pm everyday. I prefer the girls during this time. They are real friendly

This is a good looking club on the outside. It also has a good layout and feel on the inside. I really like the layout. It starts out on one side, there is a the bar area. At the edge of that is a series of barstools facing a lower part of a big room filled with tables. All that faces the big stage. There is a set of couches on one side of the big stage.
The place was slow on a Monday afternoon. I noticed 3 girls in the place and a few guys. I walked up to a girl who told me her name was Seven. She ws pretty, with long brown hair. She had good proportions, and she had nice thick legs. She was friendly...to a point. I tried to talk to her, and she talked a little, and then hustled me over to get a couch dance. It was good, a little too poundy...not enough grindy...and it was only topless.
I did like her, and when I tried to get more conversation (intent on spending a little dough on her after some convo...) she just said she needed a cigarette...and walked off...and never came back.
I left shortly after.

The Southern Belle is right next door. It is nude, and is owned by the same people, but they are not open on Monday.

Avoid: I visited the club on Monday night and was completely disappointed. I arrived at 7 p.m. and by 7:45 p.m. when I left I counted 10 consecutive songs without a dancer on stage. The 5 - 10 girls that were there were in the 4-6 range and were rarely seen on the floor and spent most of their time eating or walking in and out of the kitchen.

This club is adjacent to an all-nude club, Thee Southern Belle, which is much more expensive and doesn't have as many pretty girls.
The atmosphere is a bit stale, (particularly when the kitchen is operating) - I don't recommend the food.
As one might expect, the place picks up after ~9PM, and is particularly crowded Thurs - Saturday evening. Crowded is a good thing, though. Many more women to choose from.
There are typically only a few "regular" girls around during off-hours, none of the college cuites that I see there on weekends.
So, I highly recommend this club during peak hours. During off hours, you may want to find someplace else.

Diamonds has undergone a decrease in quality over the past few months, but is still OK. The cover is 7 bucks. The setup of the club is a bar area which drops down onto the main dance area. The stage is U shaped with a topless girl dancing on one side and a clothed girl dancing on the other. The girls stay up for 2 songs at a time. There are other girls milling about the dance area offering table dances for 10 bucks. In the back, there is the private dance area (25 bucks) Where you can get dances in private booths, and there is a VIP area (35 bucks) which is a little nicer and has a couch. The women look good for the most part, but there is a fair amount of turnover which means lots of inexperienced dancers. I'd say the women are of average friendliness, and seem more interested sometimes in hanging out with their friends. This club is Ok for Charleston, but when compared to other clubs on different areas of the country, it is not very good.

Visited this club for the first time in months on Friday night and was very pleased. Girls are hot and most are very natural. $7 cover and the shot girl is the shizzle. They were very very friendly to my female guest. There were many other female guests in attendance who were having a good time too. 2 for 1 table dance includes a golf short. Well worth the $20 for them. Very positive experience. I still love the JOKER down the street but this place has taken themselves back up a notch.

Checked the club out on a Thursday night, it was slow at first but it picked up later on. There were about a dozen girls working that night. Got a dance from Brandy, a young brown hair girl, she was ok, also got a dance from Brittany, and she was really hot. Also got two drinks from the Shooter girl, she was hot and has a hot routine, like magic...all in all a good night. I rate it an 8.

Quiet Club, Girls mostly in the 6-8 range. Private Dance $25 for look no touch. The club is hard to find and not in the greatest area of town. Once inside the girls are nice but not overly friendly as they seem to spend time chatting with locals.

A great club! A fairly big place with really beautiful girls. A well diversified staff. Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, short, tall, skinny, and thick girls. Big, small, real and fake boobs on display. Everyone can find a favorite here. A good place to go to get the party started(or end it)on the weekend, although ladies do need a male escort. Dancers and waitstaff are friendly and not to pushy about drinks or dances. Dances are upclose and personal but no touching allowed.
