Well, after visiting this club a couple of times during the day, I had wondered if I have given a fair accounting...I figured I'd give it one last shot....my last visit there was so lame I didn't even finish my beer. As strip joints go, Mickey's actually has a decent layout post remodeling...the dancers seem loyal to the place, bragging about it being the "oldest club on the East Coast"...don't know if that's true, don't really care either.

There was at least one dancer who looks like she has been there since it opened.

There is an old school bar stage there...the batender ducks around the dancers in order to serve drinks...you pretty much have to tip in order to get a drink. Sadly, this means you are stuck either being a cheap prick who doesn't tip or stuck tipping every tubby bovine that squats in front of you. There was at least one 1 and a couple of aformentioned bovine who ganrered threes at best, the rest of the girls warranted 5's and 6's. I got a lap dance from Monica who reminded me a bit Amanda Peet in a well worn close to 40 stripper sort of way. But the dance itself was intense and fun, though I think I got ripped off in terms of the promised five minutes for 20 dollars.

The club itself is clean, a rarity for RI strip joints not named the Foxy Lady, the girls not so much and with barely a sheer curtain separating you from the rest of the house, let's just say the club is not quite conducive to the ... happy ending most Providence clubs seem so willing to provide. I have a hunch I picked the right dancer to get a dance from so the score is probably a bit higher than deserved.

I last went here several years ago before the renovations and I thought I would check it out....big freakin' waste of time. The quality of the girls has not risen and it was pretty low before: I saw three girls: A blonde overweight girl who seemed smart and I considered grabbing a dance from. A black haitian girl who seemed pretty but got nastier the closer she came. Actually had some serious BO. Finally, there was this oldish women 40's maybe 50's. Just dirty and nasty. When she came out, I looked around for any girl that I could stomach long enough for a lap dance. There was nothing there.

The club looks nice. It should a higher class club if it just had a high level of girls. It has a runway bar stage that is shaped in a large rectange so if you sit at the bar you have to sit at the stage. THe girls on stage are very aggressive with tipping, and you sit at a table and go to the bar they will make a beeline for the bar. The private dances are set up in phone booth type cubicles away from the bar. overall, a nice set...they've got everything but the girls.

Finally found this place after halfheartedly trying on and off for the past year (my favorite Providence-area club being Fantasies, I wasn't motivated much to seek out this place). It's not easy to find, even with a navigation unit, but once you do you'll see it's a friendly and fun local bar the caters to the pickup 'n' cycle crowd but warmly welcomes gents of any economic persuasion.
The bar is about 4 feet wide and forms a large rectangle in the club, and the dancers work along the bartop. It's a great setup that I've never seen before and is worth studying if you are thinking about setting up or redoing a strip club. There are tables and chairs, and private dance booths. Dances are $20 for 6 minutes, each booth (privatized by a gauzy black curtain) has a timer. You must get a ticket at the bar for the first dance.

Girls I saw Wed night 2/20/08 were in the 4-7 range and I talked to several of them, they were fun and pleasant. Was tired and had to get up early so I did a dance with one and the test drive was so successful that I will be back soon for a whole lot more and the opportunity to check out a couple of the hotter numbers who were otherwise occupied when I visited. The 6 could easily be be bumped up a number next time.

I've driven by this place for years and years and never realized that it was a strip club! It really does just look like a neighborhood bar on both the outside and inside. The club is located off Bacon Street, which is just before the I-95 underpass as you're heading north on Rt. 1. Just follow that street until it turns into Carpenter Street...there's a few twists and turns along the way is all.

The club is very clean (it had some of the cleanest and most well-lit bathrooms that I've ever seen in a strip club!) and rectangular-shaped. Enter up some stairs and pay the $5 cover charge at night...and the main stage and bar area will be in the middle of the room. They use a wide "strip bar" concept here instead of stage dancing. It makes getting a drink from the bartender a tad difficult (if you have short arms...lol...), but it was interesting to watch. The "stage" area surrounds the entire bar. On the right side of the room (as you enter the place) is the dancer's dressing room, the bathrooms, and a pool table/video game area. On the left side of the place is the lap dance area, which is a series of open cubicles that are covered only with a thin, totally see-thru curtain. They have a few TVs as well...for when you're waiting for the stripper(s) to make her rounds on the bar. There were usually 2 strippers on the "stage" at any given time. There's no DJ here at all, and the hustle factor was pretty low. Expect the dancers to come by just to say "Hi" though...it's a very laid-back experience though.

Don't expect to see any really great looking strippers here though. The dancers were from a 0 (why these girls were dancing I'll never know) to a 6 IMO. Drinks started at around $3, and the mutual full-contact lap dances were $20/5 minutes (which is timed by the dancer with an egg timer)...just ask for a lap dance ticket from the bartender, pay the $20 there, then tip the dancer whatever you want to when the dance is over. The dancers here were mostly either old or kind of fat IMO, but there were a few younger dancers and everyone was very friendly. Expect to see a view of the kitty during the topless dancing on "stage". This place has a crude website (mickeysstripclub.com), which has a worthwhile coupon at least along with the club's hours. You'll never find any "extras" at this place (not like other RI clubs for sure), but OTC might be available though. There was a fair amount of contact during the timed lap dances, but don't expect to see any knockout girls here.

I would not return to this club in the future...they are waaay better options in RI than this place.


I made a stop in here this week, hadn't been here in a while. Not a lot has changed. The looks of the dancers are a bit below the Providence clubs...there are some dancers here who shouldn't be dancining. You will find an occasional gem here though. All dancers are very friendly still, with little pressure to buy dances. They still dance right on the bar, stopping at each customer and rubbing their boobs in your face. Most give a nice flash of kitty also. I was told that a dancer was recently fired for going too far in her lapdances and that new rules are now in effect. Dancers can no longer sit on a customers lap while giving a lapdance. Seems kind of stupid, and it makes it hard on the dancer. I got a couple of dances and there was still plenty of mutual contact.

My wife and I arrived at Mickey's on a Friday night just prior to midnight. The description of Mickey's as an elaborate looking basement is very accurate. There were 2 dancers on the stage/bar at any given time, and a few others were playing pool or hanging out. In pure looks, this is not the Foxy Lady, but in every other way, this is a better place.

The first thing that we liked was the friendliness and lack of pushiness of the dancers. The girls all came over to say hi, chat for a bit, and rub their tits in our faces! We hit it off with many of the girls, but decided not to get any dances (I have had a few there before- they cost $20 for a generous 5 minutes of time. Touching was always encouraged!). As last call was being called, we started to make our way to the entrance of the club. My wife started chatting with Lynn, one of her favorite girls from that night. She was making a comment about her shoes, and the next thing I knew, Lynn was taking off her shoes and encouraging my wife to try them on. She did, and was having trouble walking in them, but eventually got the hang of it. At that point, the bartender/owner came over with a friend of his, and they started encouraging my wife to show some skin. Maybe it was the alcohol talking, but the next thing I know, her top came off. Lynn came over and said that she needed to lose the bra as well, so my wife unclasped it and set the girls free! All of the people sitting around the bar/stage, and several dancers applauded her. Lynn put her head into my wife's chest and licked her tits! The bartender/owner immediately commented on her great tits and offered her a job! We laughed hysterically on the way home! What fun! What a turn-on! Mickey's is a great place- we will be back!

Made another weekday visit here. They have new chairs around the bar/stage now. Other than that, not much has changed since my 2005 review.

There were 6 girls working during my visit. All were below par for strip clubs. 1 was downright in the wrong line of work. For the most part what they lacked in jaw dropping beauty, was made up with pleasant conversations and no pressure.

I had 4 private dances with one Hispanic girl. Above average quality and contact. $20 per timed 5 minutes. Dances are in a booth with a shear curtain.

Another strange club in RI. The original burnt down and was a complete pit and then a few years later they built the new Mickeys. Much nicer built like a ranch style home and you have the feel that you are in someones recently done basement. The club does have a cover at 6pm ($5.00). I have been here probably 8 times since the opening and most recently about a week ago. Everytime it is the same thing 1 beer and out. The 8 visits that I have made here I have noticed 1 girl that would rate higher than a 6.

Sorry to say but Mickeys is okay for a guy on a slim budget get a few beers tip at the bar and get a few peeks at some pussy but that is where it ends. I do think that a good dance good be had but have not had the pleasure of seeing someone worth the $20 to get one from. Maybe someday I will still popin every once in awhile but will not expect much.

Went to this club a few days ago. I made it in before they start charging cover, which I would probably not pay to get in here. As always it's slim pickings, not very many dancers and they're "okay", unlike some of the prettier dancers in Prov. clubs. They certainly don't do the cabaret dances (mini laps) like they do at other area clubs, but it's a decnt place to stop on the way home for a beer or two. The big positive for this club is that they are not overly pushy at all, in fact it always ends up being an inexpensive stop and there tends to be more mileage gotten.

This place is a nice change of pace from the Providence clubs. Although this a topless club, a tip usually gets a flash of kitty from most dancers. This place has no "hustle" factor at all, just relax and enjoy the ladies, some hot & some not. Domestic beer is $4, cover is $5 after 6 PM. There's also a couple of pool tables.

Went to the new Micekey's a few weeks ago....sure isn't like the old Mickey's. The club is BORING, plain, the bar is too big, and very few of the girls are worth a spin in the lapdance area. Seems the hotter the girl the worse the dance. Too bad, used to be a fun place to go to.

I made my first visit to Mickey's recently so I can't compare it to the original pre-fire club. It reminded me of a frathouse basement. Tile floor, bare walls, and spartin tables and chairs. Two pool tables and a pinball machine. The bar area dominates the room. Girls go around the bar table and collect their $. The room was very loud due to no carpeting. I don't think the best sound system could sound good in here.

This night there were 6 brunetts. Below par for sure in the looks department, but almost all were friendly and some sat with me for while and we were able to get to know each other a bit before the trip to the private booth. Some of the girls came out and said clubs in Providence would not hire them so they came here.

The friendlyness of the girls continued in the private area. $20 per 5 minutes (timed) plus a tip to the girl.
This club is not for everyone, but if you like a low pressure dive, it's worth trying to find. I will visit here again.

I think this club has a lot of appeal in a different way compared to the Providence clubs. It really is a bar with strippers that dance on the bar. It is family run, the girls are not, in general, strip club material but friendly and give you plenty of attention at the rail. LD's are very good and the girls want to please. This is a great place to relax, have a few pops, talk to the dancers and chill out. This club may not be for every taste but I always enjoy coming here.

To update my earlier review, Mickey's now has higher stools at the bar, a major improvement. Still a wide range of dancers. The $20 lapdances are a great value, although having to get dance tickets from the bartender is a nuisance.

The new Mickey's is modern, clean and comfortable, but lacks the character of the old; sort of like the difference between Times Square in the 70's and Times Square now. The central feature is still a large, rectangular bar on which the ladies dance and pose for the customers. To the right of the bar are two pool tables, and to the left, a large seating area with tables and chairs, behind which are four semi-private booths for lap dancing. Mickey's girls are friendly and earthy, heavily tattooed and pierced for the most part. Only about 12 patrons on a Friday afternoon, 100% blue collar. A Heineken in a plastic cup was $5. Overall impression: a nice place to relax and have a cold one at the end of the day.

Mickey's is slowly building up business since re-opening in the new building this past spring. The building is clean and comfortable, which is to be expected. Things are too bright though, and lighting should be toned down a bit. The dancers dance on the bar. They have no poles, which are needed. You sit at regular kithchen table type chairs while at the bar. They are too low, and make it awkward and uncomfortable for the dancers when working you for their tips. The dancers are friendly and horny. Looks range 1-10, a wide range here. There are usually not a lot of girls working, 5 to 8 at a time. Private dances in semi-private booths ( could be a lot more private) cost $20 for 5 minutes (timed). You buy a dance ticket from the bartender. Dances are pretty high mileage, not like the old "sticky" Mickey's, but pretty good nonetheless.

I knew I was going to be in the area on a wed afternoon so I got directions from mapquest and stpped in for a beer.

Nice, brightly lit club. Main stage is the bar and the girls dance on the bar. Also a side stage not in use at the time I was there. No DJ, just a cd player playing mostly country type music.
Nice neighborhood feel to the club. No cover at the time, beer was in cans only and $4. Bartender not pushy at all.

Girls are "next door" type. Some size 1's and some 12's. SOme natural boobs and some fake. Something for everyone! Much better than the average at cheater's

Laps are $20 to house and tip to girl. They are in booths behind a sheer curtain. I got a one form Dominque, a petite blond who looks like Christina Aguilera preboob implants. Generous grindage and had a good time. I tipped $25, don't know if that was too much or too little.

Even though the curtain is pretty much see thru,from one dance I saw, I think on some dances might be a bit wild.

Only draw back is that the girls could have been a bit more friendlier to new customers. They spent a lot of time with regulars. However, I'm sure I had a bit more money in my pocket to burn.

Now if I can just find anothe reason to be back in that area....



Went to Mickey's Valley View Pub Saturday afternoon. They have yet to work all of he kinks out of the bar. The bar does not have any barstools so they are using chairs, which means you are at about chin level to the bar. Also, in the old days Mickey's was a bright strip club but now it is very bright. Lapdances are now twenty dollars to the club and what ever you tip the girl. Also, the lapdance area can be seen from anywhere in the club. The curtins are almost completely transparent. It does not have the down home feeling that it once did.

It was like 'going home'. Made it to Mickey's on opening day May 4th. The place is beautiful but still has that 'homey' feeling where everyone knows everyone else. It has been rebuilt like a box. When you walk in you have a bar in front of you. It is shaped like a rectangle with about 20 or so seats at the front and back and 10 seats on each side. And yes the girls dance on the bar! To the right are several pool tables and to the left along the front wall and extending to the side is a smaller 'typical' dance runway for another girl. It looked like most of the girls from long ago where back which is the biggest plus. As anyone regular knows of you are looking for that perfect body (natural of cosmetic) don't come here. (try Foxy)The girls are more mature (mid 20's to late 30's..maybe early 40's) which is the attraction they have. You might see a few stretch marks, a saggy breast or 2, a lady with glasses or even a hardbody with great breasts...but the common denominator is they all have personality and will sit down and talk to you without pushing you for that lap dance or drink. There are 3 places for lap dances but I couldn't get near them as they were either full or the girls were sitting down talking. Mickey's is truly a gem that we have back. I would offer one piece of advice....with 50 or more seats at the bar you have to have more than one girl dancing. I went with the intention of dropping 30 or 40 bucks for the girls. I was there for 2 hours and 6 girls but only 3 made it over to my side of the bar. I dropped only 6 bucks. At the other dancing area I did better but the girls seemed to be on for 30 or 40 minutes at a time. Please....more girls. Good luck and I hope to continue going back as long as I get to see a lady every 10 minutes or so!

Rebuilding is moving alone and are projecting to reopen later in April. Interior finish work is being done, boy this club is going to look sweeeeeet! Atmoshpere of the same old Mickeys and the girls will still dance on the bar!

I've just returned from a trip to Rhode Island to visit some friends in the area and I took the time to stop by Mickey's to see how things are going. When we arrived at the lounge Rick and a friend were putting the finishing touches on the exterior stairs and handicapped ramp for the main entrance (which is now on the East side of the building). After having a conversation with both Mickey and Rick, it looks like the target date for opening is around 4 to 6 weeks if everything goes right. Rick guided us through the club to show us what was going on; it looks like about 80% of the electrical and plumbing work is complete, plus all the interior framing is finished. What needs to be done now is all the interior insulation work, the ceiling and wall paneling, plus some sort of floor treatment.

The layout is just about a mirror image of what the old Mickey's looked like; the bar (which will seat about 40 people) is where the old stage use to be and the stage is where the bar use to be. There looks the be about 3 private lap dance areas up where the old front entrance was and they look to be a bit more private then the old couches had been!!! Rick also showed us a HUGE basement area that they are planning to rent out for private parties in the future. The entire building is now fully sprinklered for fire suppression, in fact Rick mentioned that most of the delay in finishing the property has been due to the new fire codes that have been enacted since the West Warwick conflagration.

Here's looking forward to the Grand Re-opening of Mickey's Valley View Pub and welcoming all the lovely ladies back to work where they want to be. I hope to see you there at the re-opening Party and if not then, some time in the near future. I have pictures from the construction, but it's not possible to post them here; I guess you'll just have to come and see for yourself.
