Visited last Tuesday around 9:30 pm, my first time here since I was in college...probably about a decade ago. This club is more upscale than The Crazy Horse half-a-mile down the street. $4.75 domestic beer, $10 cover, $10 dances, $20 VIP. I fell in love with a girl named Candy almost immediately, and got several high mileage dances from her. Most of the girls were between a 6-8, and very friendly. Wednesday nights are currently being billed as "retro nights" with 80s music and $5 dances. I stopped in on Saturday night hoping for more fun, but they were doing something called "Purgatory"...I have no idea what that entails, but it was $18 cover at the door, with $2.00 coat check. I left, but I've got a feeling I'll be back on a Wednesday night.

Back in Hickory last week for Business, nothing much else to do on a wednesday night in a small town I don't know well. Place was pretty crowded, probably due to the fact that Emerson's down the street is closed for renovation. Club is nice, clean, good lighting, music not too loud. Coupla stages, although most of the girl work the room when they're not dancing on the main stage. Cheap dances, 5 for table, 10 for lap. A $1 tip will get a dancer over to your table. Also had a few specials going when I was there.
The dances. A $5 table dance could be that, a literal dance at the table, or it could be up by the main stage on a long padded bench, or even on a couch off to the side, it all depended on the girl. Most of the table dances were a lot of air with not much contact from either party. The lap dances were a different story, the VIP isn't all that private but nobody seems to be looking, and most girls didn't mind some petting.
The Girls. They pretty muched ranged from 3's to 7's with with most being 5's or 6's. There were a couple of 8's, but both seemed to have a bunch of regulars. One did stop by and I ended up getting some lap's from her. Her techniqure wasn't bad, but it was the same every time, on the positive my hands and mouth were allowed to go everywhere, and she put hers in a few places :). If only I could remember her name...
All in all, pretty average place, about what you would expect for this town, although when I role through again, I'd liked to check out what the new Emerson's is like.

Better shape than most but still not stellar. 2 stages...not much to write home about.
The drinks were average priced and the music wasn't deafening load but still not a great place because they're all table dances.
I threw out a few questions but got no replys,
Shame because the little blonde with the nice real rack would have been outstanding in the VIP that didn't exist there.

Larger upscale club. Two bar areas and two large dance floors as well as private sections. Dance quality is very good, lots of dancers to choose from. I had two dances from Nichole tableside at $10 each which were fantastic. Best waitress staff I have seen in a club.

I had intended to go to Players but they were not open. Instead I dropped by the CH on a Wednesday evening around 5. Three dancers working, a 7 with a couple of tattoos, a black girl with a nice butt and a nice 8 with quarter-size beige nipples. $10 cover or membership charge, $4.50 Bud Lights, and $5.00 lap dances. I didn't explore the VIP. About 4 or 5 watching. Tattoo girl hung out with the boyfriend when she wasn't on stage. I got a very nice lap dance from the cute black girl with the stick-out butt. She smelled like bubble gum. Club was nice. Music wasn't ear-splitting, a nice change from some clubs I have been to. I stayed for about an hour. All-in-all an okay experience on a slow night.

Spent a few hours here Thursday afternoon. When I got there the only customers were bar flys and I sat and talked with a biker for about 10 minutes before any dancers started dancing. There were only 4 girls working although there was supposedly another one but she must have been hiding somewhere. The girls were a 4, a 5, a 5, and a 7. Nothing to impressive until the 7 finally got done with her regular and came over to me. She gave me a pretty nice table dance, which by the way are on $5, so I took her into the private couch area (basically just a room on the side with a closed door) and we had a few lap dances. Pretty high one way contact although I though she was going to leave me "satisfied" but never quite got there. The remodeling has made the place a lot nicer and it's kept its "old school" charm. I'm willing to go back especially when there might be a few more ladies. The older Bartender was also very friendly and had a wonderful pair.

Visited on a Saturday, late afternoon, and was not nearly as impressed as my previous visit. I was probably here too early (5-7pm) but figured there'd be a bit more action than there was. When I first arrived, there were only two girls working...that number had swelled to about 8 by the time I departed. A couple of girls that were just a bit too chunky to be wearing stripper outfits...and I tend to prefer ladies who have some meat on their bones. Still, this place is a good bargain, with free cover before 6pm, $2.50 draft beer, and $5 table dances. I'm not sure when the best time to come here is, but I think next time I'll plan to visit on Friday evening after 8pm.

I stopped by here in the late afternoon for an attitude adjustment and was told somewhat sheepishly that they only had one dancer on hand. Needless to say, that should have been stated as one dancer, on her butt, in a chair, with a regular. So there was no point in hanging around watching them talk. The owners have put a lot of bucks into the remodeling of the building but they have missed the point. No one comes to see the building....

I somehow ended up here around 8:30 this past Friday night, after having heard and read some good things about their recent renovation. Now called The Crazy Horse, this is a very nice looking place on the inside, although the outside is about as nondescript as one could imagine. Cover was $6 (with MAL membership), there were about 20 girls working, a very lively crowd, $2.50 draft specials, $5 table dances, $20 VIP dances, and the DJ was only mildly annoying. The talent on hand was quite respectable, and I was both surprised and very pleased overall. Whether it's worth the drive from where you live is entirely dependent on your wants and needs...but I had a blast here, and I have every intention of making repeated trips. Highly recommended.

Emersons has taken a turn for the better. New girls, major remodeling in process. Being converted to a Crazy Horse. Dances are still the best value around at $5 each, or $20 VIP. Can't beat a trip to Hickory for this. Some of the best mileage around for $5. Dancers range from a 4-9, and get better as night goes on.

This place should be called EmAIRsons!
What a ripoff. ALL the girls were out of shape or rail thin, like I wanted to feed them... The music is way too load and the place is mainly filled with overweight balding businessmen who have nothing else to do and can't get any attention from the pretty girls in the club down the street so they come to the minor league. Man what a bad place.
i gave it a 3 because the bartender was nice and friendly, and talked to me for a while. She sort or agreed with my position and I happily tipped her and left.

PLEASE go to some other club in Hickory

OH, I love this place. I used to do a LOT of work in Hickory, and was a member here in the late 90s.
I took a trip down south last weekend, and made a special side trip, just to see how the old club is holding up. It was a dive then... and lordy is it a dive now!!!

Very little has changed. The light show, the stage (though they are putting in a new one on the side) The "poles" (which look like water pipes and don't spin, LOL!) Still the same old place.
The entrance fee hasn't changed: $5 for members, $10 for guests.
The price of a soda is $2... Pretty standard for a strip club. I wasn't drinking, so not sure about the Booze.
I was there on a Wednesday night, about 15 girls working.
Girls range from a 4 to a couple of 8s... Not a 10 to be found.

The first 2 girls who got up on the stage had bad sunburns and were peeling. And not just a little! Losing big chunks! I was dressed all in black, and you'd have thought I had dandruff! The Talent got better after this, but that's not saying much!

One of the reasons I love this place (in spite of how awful it is) is that any guy with $30 worth of singles can feel like a High Roller. The Locals are cheapskates, always have been. Sit at the stage and you'll have the dancing girl all to yourself. Drop $4 during a 2 song set and you'll get molested like nobody's business.

Another reason to love (or hate) this place... There wasn't a fake tit to be found (When you're clientèle is this cheap, you can't afford implants!) I like the real deal, so for me, it's heaven.

In the old days, 5 got you a table dance, and 20 would get you a really good time. Not sure what the going rate is now, but there are still plenty of good times to be had. They have a Private dance area that was seeing a lot of use the night I was there.

In summary: If you're used to high class clubs, this place will be WAY beneath you. If you're used to dive joints, this place is great. All in all, a good middle of the road club, and a cheap night out.

Dropped by Emersons for the first time the other night. Generally pretty confortable, girls ranged from moderately atractive to pretty nice. Nothing really amazing. Dancing was ok, nothing that I hadn't seen before. I also liked the price of private dances, and the dancers themselves wern't pushy. My biggest complaint was that they gave me the wrong drink, but that eventually got worked out so it was ok. All in all, not the best place I ever been to, but not the worst either. Probably the nicest in Hickory, but if you want a good time, just drive an hour to Charlotte, much better.

I dropped into Emersons about 5 PM on Thursday. It was dark as usual, about 5 dancers slowly working through the rotation. The sound levels in here are pretty bad if you sit near the speakers. No one paid me the slightest attention as each girl did her set and then settled back with her regular. It's hard to figure how this place survives on such little activity as the energy level is non-existent. After watching the whole tour, it was obvious that nothing very promising was upcoming so I wandered on. It's obviousthat this place has fallen on slow times due to the depressed economy in the area.

I wandered in here for an attitude readjustment on Monday about 5. I walked right in and got a beer and sat down to meditate. The most notable talent was a slightly chubby blonde named Holly, who stepped off the rail during her set for a fairly intimate $1 lap. Afterwards she gave a kiss and then wandered back to a regular. The other 2 dancers were nothing notable, so when Holly wandered by for "wanna dance", sure, have at it. She gave another fairly intense in your face lap for $5. That was pretty nice, so I asked her to stop back after a song and she settles at the bar. After politely tipping the next dancer, I waited for her return. But she headed to the dressing room and then I saw her head out the door. The music then changed from 80's to techno-pop and no one danced for 6 songs as the shift changed. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
