I don't know why, but none of the girls ever seem to be enjoying themselves at this club. That attitude ends up carrying over to the the customers. Too bad, since the dancers were consistently good looking. Maybe it's because the club looks like a cheap dump.

Drinks are expensive and not particularly generous. That's okay, though, because the chairs are uncomfortable and you really don't want to stay very long. There's no private or VIP dances, but you can get an unenthusiastic table dance.

I actually stopped here a second time, to give them a chance to be better. I won't go back.

Was there, 10:30ish on a weeknight. I'll say the club was open, and there were some topless dancers running around, but not much else good to be said. Drinks - somewhat expensive, atmosphere- cheesy

Last time I was here seems like it had gone downhill and Sugars was the place to go. Got here at 10:00 only two customers girls didn't look too excited. Tipped more than anyone else girls seem more interested in talking to regulars was not asked by one for a table dance. Does not have an area for VIP dances. Six months earlier had been much better

I hadn't been here in ages since I saw so many rough looking characters last year. No place to get a dance, there's no VIP area, and all the chairs were taken up by local farm workers drinking beer but not buying dances.

Last week however I tried it again early in the evening (8-ish) and found just a few customers and two dancers. The girls were cute 7's or so and willing to dance for a buck. I bought 2 dances from the white girl and was pleased. Not much grindage (the bartender watches like a hawk) but still fun. This place is all air dances but at $10 it's ok.

This place doesn't look good from the outside. Apparently the local authorities have turned this area into an "adult-oriented" entertainment ghetto and they won't even issue a building permit for remodeling.

That lack of remodeling effort apparently carrys over to the inside, until you're getted by the bartender and the guy collecting your cover charge. Suddenly you're surrounded by nice people who seem interested in you having a good time. And the next thing you know, you do!

The girls vary as to looks, ethnicity, and dancing talent, but they all seem to generally enjoy what they're doing. And when you get one of them for a table dance, she tries to make sure you do too. Yes, they're required to be a foot or two away at all times, but sometimes they get confused and think the rules mean millimeters instead of inches. Most of them give you a "thank you" hug once she's dressed again, too.

One of the most remarkable things about Sugar's is the number of women customers who go there ... either with their husbands/boyfriends or with girlfriends. And usually before the night is over several of those female customers end up joining a dancer on stage where things get topless and a whole lot closer than they ever do with us guys. I always make it a point to compliment the "amatures," too, because for most of them it's a bit difficult baring their breasts to strange men.

Sugar's is a good experience despite the rough look to the place. As with most entertainment places, it's the people who make it good.

Believe it or not, it was my wife's idea to go to Sugar's. Who am I to argue? We got there around eight o'clock last Friday, and were imediately made to feel welcome by the bartender. There were only four girls working that night, but they were doing exactly that...working. Well, at least three of them were.
Despite the fact that one of the girls seemed extremely bored, my wife and I had an excellent time. We stayed there till after midnight, and by then, it was getting quite crowded. Two of the girls brought my beautiful wife on stage, which was exciting. I did get a bit nervous however, when several drunken fellas decided to start forcibly cramming dollar bills down my wife's pants. But I'm over it now, nothing got too terribly out of hand. Now, the only real gripe I've got with the place, is the price of drinks. I understand charging two bucks for a beer, but for a Pepsi? Why rip-off the designated drivers? So, in closing, if you don't mind spending a few extra bucks for a good night out, Sugar's is worth checking out. Just try to keep your ladies off of the stage.

Not bad for a Tuesday night, 5 girls working not an ugly one in the bunch, all at least a 6 two about 7.5 or more depending on your taste. The bad part about this club is there is no VIP room, the good part is that table dances are only $10. Beer is cheap and a $5 cover. Had two of the better looking girls do a couple dances for each other. Looks like they got into it and they could get away with doing more to each other than they could to me. Dances with me were okay no serious grindage. Watching two girls making out wearing only a g-string was very entertaining.

Went in June had six girls working between 6 and 8 two didn't seem interested in talking to anyone but regulars got table dances $10 from the others limited mileage not a bad place but could use some redecoration. Had two girls it was there first night dancing. This night better than Olivia's which is right next door

Havelock is a small military town, Sugar's and Olivia's are right next to each other, and are nearly identical. Both have customers who are mainly marines, both have local girls working, both use jukeboxes (sometimes a DJ at Olivia's), but Sugar's is the more laid back of the two, suits me just fine. Havelock is also cursed with a very strict ALE agent who keeps both clubs in line. No couch dances here, only table (air) dances are available for $10. Sugar's usually has 5-6 girls working and are in the 5-7 range, the 10 left for Raleigh (it was a sad day), Reasonable drink prices, cute girls, laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, makes this a nice place to spend an evening without going broke. If you want more than air, you'll have to go to Jacksonville or Greenville.
