Dropped in on Sunday after noon just as they opened at 4P. They seem to be adding on to the club but the new area is not open yet. Had a few 9's, with two 10's. New girl named Jasmine. She is 20 years old, can't even legally drink in the club. She has a perfect body and gives a fair hot lap dance. Her VIP is not good at all.
Checked out VIP's with a few other girls. None flashed as they used to. Seems the club has gotten more strict on the flashing. Laps are still5 bucks and VIP's are 20. Good value. These night shift girls are hotter than the day shift at this club. The bouncer her is cool. You can rub the girls buts and lick a nip without getting yelled at. All and all, this place is always a strong 7.

Wow … it’s been at least four years (and many visits to various clubs) since I wrote my last review of L&L Gastonia and unfortunately lightning hasn’t struck twice. I’ve never gotten the amount of action I got my first night at this club and never saw China again, my guess is that she got busted for dances that went too far. In the time since I’ve found that the table dances are indeed $5 day or night, any day of the week. The best seats in the house are stage left against the wall (under the TV) or stage right against the DJ booth, in both cases the DJ/bouncer’s view is obstructed. The quantity and quality of contact is hit or miss depending on the dancer, just as with all the clubs in the Charlotte metro area, however at half the price of the other clubs the misses are easier to take. I don’t often opt for the VIP, however, if you decide to give it a try be careful when you enter the booth, you pay for the song you enter on, so if your butt hits the seat and the song ends, you’re out $25. Try to hang out in front of the booth and enter between songs only. If you try a number of different dancers and get nothing but air dances ask if the owner is in, if he is save your money and check out CVE or some other club, the girls get real conservative when he’s around. Although I’ve never partaken, take-out is available day and night, more so during the day. The club may look closed due to the current expansion construction however they are open every day/night except Monday.

I tried both this club and Leather & Lace South in Charlotte on the same day. I liked the Charlotte club a lot better. I got started here in the late afternoon. Out of about six strippers working, all but one were too fat for my taste, but that one had a killer body - tall, thin and pure sex in motion. I got a couple of table dances with her, actually on the couch over by the pool table. They were OK for $5 one-way contact, but limited, so I didn't see any point in getting more. After she took her turn on stage, however, I decided to get a $20 VIP dance with her. Strictly research, you understand. Pretty disappointing. A little loosening of the no-touch rules, but nothing close to warranting the price difference.

I wasn't too crazy about the layout and atmosphere, either. There's basically one small room with a stage on one end, seating around the perimeter and nothing in the middle. Patrons sit facing each other across the room, leaving you feeling totally exposed, especially during a slow day shift. The no-touch rules are also pretty inhibiting. The dancers and staff were all friendly enough, but I never felt the kind of comfort it takes to have fun.

After heading into Charlotte, I stopped back here late that night. The place was packed - SRO and not a lot of that. A party atmosphere. However, the selection of strippers didn't look any better, and the dance rules didn't appear much looser.

Visited L&L fairly early on the night-shift because I was in town and had nothing else to do. (I'm mostly a day-shift guy.) I counted 13 (I think) dancers and about half that many customers. Like so many of these places, the performers seemed much more interested in chatting each other up than the customers. Three or four of these ladies were young and svelte, a couple a little hippy but beautifully busomed, one grossly overweight, one "virgin" (only of dancing) unrecovered from her latest pregnancy, and few more of acceptable attractiveness.

I was approached by each of a couple of ladies I knew from stints on day-shift, and had superior VIP sessions with each. None of the other ladies paid me any heed at all -- and it wasn't like business was boomin'. Only a couple of other gals made it to the VIP while I was there. Maybe they print their own money and just dance for the sheer joy of it?

I always have a good time at the L&L, but the cover did go up, and they are building on to the club, I’m afraid that they might mess the place up if there not careful.

I went in during the day, and the girls were just getting started. The DJ that had been there for years had gotten fired the day before. It had something to do with his girlfriend coming in and making some trouble. Anyway the music sucked what there was of it, and they had no one there to organize the girls, so no one was dancing on stage and if one of the girls had not know me, I don’t think I would have gotten a dance at all. I hope it’s better next time. I hope they get that DJ back, they’re real important if they’re good, and he was good.

I continue to rate L&L as my favorite "local" club. Most of my visits are daytime and Marilyn, Wendy, Chris, Candy, Lyric continue to be relatively constant performers, and occasionally one of the "newbies" or "transients" shows great promise. The place might have to close up w/o Marilyn, though. The five dollar table laps are primo for the price and sometimes the VIP visits can be quite a bit of fun -- that depends on the girl, time of day, amount of alcohol, phase of the moon, size of the tip, frequency of visits, etc. All in all a fair place to while away a few hours on a cloudy (or even sunny) afternoon.

I visited L&L when back in Gastonia last month. My vist lasted about 1.5 hours in late afternoon. I had a great time and got a number of the $5 table side dances. Most were pretty good with lots of contact. The value for the money is about the best of any club I have ever attended. Most of the girls dancing ranged from 5-8. Most, but not all, were friendly and came by my seat to ask me for a $5 table side dance. I have not tried any of the $20 dances here though. L&L is still highly recommended.

Definitely a better time during the day. The night shift bouncer plays things pretty close. There are generally better looking girls on nights though. Lapdances are $5 and "VIP" is $20. The VIP area is a couch and half wall (no privacy, but the bouncer tends to look the other way in most cases. A few of the girls offer "provate dances". Dayshift hotness is Marilyn. Thin bleach blonde with a great tight little body.

They are closed Mondays. Therea re defintiely better looking girls elsewhere, but for the money, it definitely worth a look. Semi rough crowd at night...

I made my first ever nighttime visit here recently and it isn't nearly as much fun. There is a bouncer who generally stands at the entrance to the VIP area. I never saw him give anyone a hard time or do anything, but stil it kind of kills the mood. I got dances from 4 or 5 ladies and nothing really to write home about. I did VIPs with 3 dancers, one of whom wanted $50 to let me pet the kitty...passed on that one. Nothing out of the ordinary at all during my visit. I'll stick to the day shift for sure.

Recently visited during the day. Still the best dance value for your dollar around with $5 table dance. Day dancers Marilyn (veteran) and Candy(new) are highly recomended. There is also another blond petite dancer who's name begins with an "A" that I recommend. Sorry, I forgot her name. Day shift here is better than night shift. I stayed over to check it out.

Since returning from my Summer excursion to the Left Coast this fall, I have trekked to L&L several times. Despite having lost two (Kory/dancer and Sandy of the amazing hooters/server) of their prime attractions (both because of "Rhonda the Bitch", I suspect) the show does go on, and quite well I must say. Several new dancers have come and gone, but some have also stayed (mind, I only speak of day shift). All give primo five dollar laps, and sometimes the VIP dances can be even more rewarding. The "best of the rest," Marilyn, is looking better than ever and retains her slot as my ATF. Felony, pretty face and great boobs, has come and gone and come and gone. Hopefully, someday she will come and stay. The latest attraction, Star, is a little hippy and a little flat on top, but has a really pretty face and a great attitude to match. She is darling and a real keeper. Hope they can. Wendy and Desiree both put on good shows, and Dream is a lot of fun as well. This is by far my most favorite club in NC.

I returned to L&L on November 1 while on business in Gastonia. I again has a great time. I got a number of the $5 table side dances, which are really a great value. The girls ranged mostly from 6's to 8's. A couple of the girls never made it by my table, but several others did. This is a nice neighborhood style club that I always enjoy visiting. I ended up getting no VIP dances since the table dances are a pretty good deal and I had limited funds to spend on this occasion.

I arrived at L&L at 7:00PM, Saturday evening, October 27, 2007. As I entered the club, I paid a $5 C.C. and ordered a Red Bull at the bar.

I took a seat at a table just left of the DJ booth and began watching the stage dancers. There were about 8 other customers and about 6 dancers, ranging from 4 to 8. I know, quite a variance, but we're in a neighborhood type bar.

Shortly after sitting, I was joined by dancer Kerry (7.5), 37 years old, well kept body and somewhat toned. I ended up experiencing a couple of her $5 laps and decided on a $20 VIP room visit.

Well, to my surprise, the VIP room was a raised platform with swinging doors, right beside the DJ booth. For a $20 lap there, mileage certainly did not improve!

We returned to our table and began watching the Ohio & Penn State game. I stayed until the Buckeyes got a good point spread (4th quarter) and left at about 11:00PM, heading further Northbound.

I suppose the club is a great deal for $5 laps, but the bouncer had to remind me about keep my hands (off of Kerry's legs) once. He never said anything about the other customers getting out of hand. I suppose I was pinpointed out, since I was a NEWBIE to the club. You do get breasts waving against your face (heaven forbid if the nipples hit your lips by accident!).

As a seasoned clubber, I won't return, but did enjoy watching the football game on their (somewhat big size) TV, therefore, I'll give the club a rating of 7.




I was back in Gastonia last week and spent a few hours at L&L. I still really like this club. I got about 10 of the $5 table dances and most were great. One girl gave air dances only, others had 2 way contact. I am marking it an 8 rating rather than 10 for two reasons. One, the music was way too loud and very hard to talk to the girls over the loud music. Two, they moved the neon L&L sign to the back of the building. If I had not been here before I do not think I would have found the place. I plan to be back next month for another visit.

I finished my round trip to the Left Coast back in my "home" club in Gastonia mid-afternoon on a Wednesday. There were 9 (NINE!) ladies working; three were familiar, including my ATF; a couple might have been night shifters "moonlighting;" and four were new (to me). I got private dances from three of the newbies. All were acceptable; two I expect to improve, but the other was fine. As previously noted by another, gone is the exceptional Kory. Also among the missing is the tan, flamin' hot, petite lesbian, Jasmine (Jazzman?). Likewise absent in the irrepressible Sandy with her real, firm 38 DD hooters. I cried myself to sleep Wednesday night…

I made a quick stopover to L&L recently. The biggest news is that Corey is gone so we've lost one of the dancers that made this club fun. Other than that, the club is pretty much the same. New bartenders, same dancers. The $5 tableside dance is the best bargain going in strip clubs. Go in with a good attitude, not expecting too much and you should be able to have a good time. As always, I was there during the day shift...I have never been at night.

Made another trek to the L&L last week. Nothing has really changed in the 6 months since my last trip except, for the benefit of you semi-regulars like me, Lynn is no longer there. She was one of the 3 or 4 dependables for a good time..almost always in a good mood, seemed to enjoy her work, pretty decent lap dances.

As stated before, this place is one step above a dive, but it does have a neighborhood bar feel to it. I go maybe 3-4 times a year and usually see 2-3 dancers I know. There doesn't seem to be much in between ground here..either fat and/or obnoxious, or pretty and friendly. There are usually 2-3 of each during the day shift. My advise is stick with the prettier ones..I know the service is good and friendly and you might get surprised by your $5 lap dance, considering it is North Carolina. Another recommendation, is to go on a Thursday or Friday as one of the better dancers only works those days during the week.

The high rating is based on other North Carolina clubs. Don't even think of going here if fancy gentlemen's clubs are your thing, or you're looking for all 8-10's.

I started my annual summer excursion to the Left Coast at L&L, still my favorite NC spot. It was about 1630 hrs and there were five or six dancers and about that many customers. Scottie, Mike's replacement at DJ was his usual stoic self, playing the songs and keeping the customers' hands off the dancers during the $5 laps. If you want to touch, go in the VIP for a little more contact. Otherwise, just enjoy the attention. My ATF was not there last Wednesday, but the other ladies didn't even give me time to find out why. Felony, Jasmine and Desiree were all happy to see me and even happier before I left. It's a fun place for NC. Now on to Treasure's in Houston.

Went this past Thursday night. Kind of a slow night but there were a good number of girls working---probably about a dozen. Always enjoyed this place, and hope this was an aberration; because it's usually a rather wild place. Check out "Chocolate Bee" and "Drew". Table dances are $5, VIP dances are $20, and they actually play songs all the way through rather than doing the slow fade before the song is over---too many places do that nowadays.

I visited while driving through NC. This place is a bit dumpy and the girls may not all be the hottest. They were in the 4-7 range, with a couple too large to dancing. But this place was worth the stop. The table/lap dances were among the best I have had. The dancers were for the most part enthusiastic, there was very high contact and the best part was that the dances were only $5. One thing I found odd, was I was there about an hour and never once was asked to buy a drink. I will stop by again when passing through.

It has been some time since I last stopped in. And it may be some time before I swing by again. The club has slipped a little since my last visit. Oh, the beers are still relatively cheap, and the $5 lap dances still can give you great bang for the buck (so to speak) provided you luck into the right dancer. And the caliber of girls is still relatively the same if not slightly improved -- I didn't see the traditional over-40 "what the hell is she still doing dancing" stripper nor did anybody on stage look like they had just consumed a chain of McDonald's restaurants. But there used to be a lot of interplay and horseplay between the girls, and there used to be a lot more flirtation and titilation (okay, time to lay off the puns) in visits past than there was on this last visit. I left feeling that this was just another strip club, with no stories to tell. Which is why this review is so flat.

From an economic standpoint, $5 laps are great and $20 VIPs are reasonable compared to other clubs. And none of the girls I saw on my recent night out were so horrible that I wanted to gouge my eyes out with a spoon. But unlike visits past, I feel that I can wait awhile before crossing paths with L&L Gastonia again.

The club is small, housed in a small building, long and narrow. The bar takes up one end of the narrow part and in front of it is the single pool table. The protruding stage is at the other end, with about 12 chairs around it. Around the walls is a collection of chairs and tables, but given the small building they are close together and not too many of them. Not a good sign, but I found that out later.

When I was there a recent Sunday, early evening was great. About 10 dancers and 12 or so customers and NASCAR was on the TV. The open-air 'dances' were worth the $5, since everyone was entertained by something. Everyone was having fun, esp some of the dancers drinking lard liquor. About 9 or so, the place started to crowd up, and the fun went down. Too many guys, not enough chairs, and lots of guys staring at the customers with the dancers.

This club was a lot of fun. I stopped by last Wed (4/11) from 2 to 5 in the afternoon. A MAL membership card cut the entry fee to $5. I don't know what the non-member entry fee is, probably a few dollars more. Beers were $4.50. At 2PM the place was not packed but pretty lively. Maybe 20 customers and 12 dancers. Continuous stage dancing and a LOT of lap dance activity at the rock bottom price of $5.
The dancers were mostly white, but otherwise a pretty diverse mix of shapes and ages. No major beauties here, but almost all are not bad, and they are very friendly and enthusiastic. I didn't notice any implants, just natural cuties. Dances are tableside without much privacy, but everyone is busy enough with their own honey that they are not paying much attention to others. Dances were full contact with major grind, although I think pretty much one way. My instincts told me that I would get better mileage by not groping the dancer, and I was happy with the results. A VIP area was available, but it wasn't very private and I saw no one use it.
HIGHLY RECOMENDED

I have stopped here several times in the past coupla months, traveling up and down I-85. I usually hit it mid-week, mid afternoon. There generally are few customers and only four or five dancers. The $5 laps are awesome from most of the performers, and in a few cases a trip to the semi-private VIP area improves the experience. This is a fun little place with some really hot women -- or at least they fake it with enthusiasm. I recommend you stop by closer to 5 Pm when there is a little more action, and you'll be outside my 2-4 time slot ;o).

Visited on a Friday night. A lot of dancers and customers. Five dollar admission and $4.50 for beer. Table dances are $5 and VIP room dances are $20. The VIP room is small, can accommodate 2 or 3 dancers and their customers at one time. and is right next to the deejay booth so management can see most everything that goes on. With the right dancer the dance cam be much better than the table lap dances. I really enjoyed the table dances from April, a peite 33 year old blond. Very nice personality. Another blond dancer I recommend is Raven. Most of the evening, each dancer would only do one song on stage so one could see a lot of dancers in a relatively short time. I recommend this club.

i was there last night. the service was great had just sat down and had the waitress ask if i needed a drink. small club but the dancers are very friendly. had several give lap dances. would recommend a vip from either kory or jazzman. sunshine was a doll the rest of the dancers were ranging from 7 to 9. i will be going back in the daytiome to check it out again.

I made my usual daytime visit here recently, and as always, it all depends on who is working on that particular day. Although my favorite from here wasn't working the day of my visit, there were a couple of the "old timers" there who filled in very well. One I had gotten dances from in the past, but this time the intensity went up quite a bit, which of course was fine with me. Mileage is good for a North Carolina club and at $5 per table dance, the price is very attractive. Don't expect a lot of beauties in here, although you might find a couple if you hit the place on the right day. There are almost always a couple of fuglies here but just keep looking as there are usually a couple of diamonds as well. Still my favorite NC club!

I got in about 7pm, and the club was pretty quiet. I got several of the $5.00 laps, and a couple of VIP dances from Corey. The VIPs were $20.00 and well worth it. Corey is both good looking and really gives a nice VIP. I also got VIPs from a petite blonde. The dancers range all over the place in looks and weight, but you'll find something for every taste.
$5.00 laps, how can you beat this?

This is a small club in a metal building, on main street. Not much to look at from the outside. When you enter, you may first think you are in a low class dump. However, after that first impression, DO NOT turn around and leave. Go sit down and preprare for the best kept secret in NC or SC.

Day Shift. Lots of fun, Corey, Lynn, Edora, Lyric, and Marylin !!!! as well as always new teen girls will make you very happy. The laps here ( only $5 ) include the things that other girls and clubs charge $100 for. I'm not going to be more specific as I'm not sure what or who runs this site but I'll just say, bring $150.00 with you and prepare for the most fun you have ever had at a strip club. I go every other week. On, and I've been to strip clubs all over the US and Canada. The VIP is $20 or $25 seems to depend on the girl. Action there sometimes good, somtimes not. I like the floor dances but the girls tell me the managment wants them to push, push the VIP's.

Beer and mix drinks are reasonable priced and they actually put enough alcohol in the drinks that you can feel it after only one. The best advice for getting a good lap, don't just get one, after the first $5, they get better and better.

I feel like I'm screwing myself by letting this info out as I love this place and don't want it to get to overcrowded or changed. However, I also want to read the review of some other clubs around the U.S. as I travel ofthen and knowing the good and bad will save lots of hours searching out the good spots.

This review is a few weeks late, as a friend of mine and I visited here before Thanksgiving.

This club has become a favorite of both mine and my Partner in Crime. We have found it entertaining enough to make the trek from the D.C. area to here several times since February, 2006. The biggest news for all who have graced Gastonia's doorstep is that The Bouncer has resigned. L&L afficiandos know who I mean: the one who's eyes constantly roamed the floor... the one who always interrupted a good lap dance to impose a fine or simply let you know who was boss. The Replacement is a great change of pace: much more laid back and inclined to let the girls do what they want. The girls are clearly happier for it -- every one I spoke with told me so in no uncertain terms. The table dances are better, as the girls feel much more relaxed and you're not constantly looking over your shoulder waiting for The Man to smack you down.

The quality of the girls has actually gone up a bit -- there are less 4's and 5's and more 6's - 9's. And still the best $5 dances around... which is mainly why we make the trip from D.C. to here. The girls here treat you better and give a more intimate show at $5 a pop than the $20-a-dance girls in D.C.

Guess that's what they mean by "Southern Hospitality."

I finished my summer loop back at L&L where I had started in late June. There was some interesting new talent as well as a several longer term habitants, including my ATF. There was quite a bit of concern that the “boss” was about, thus putting a damper on any potential hanky-panky, which surprised me since I always thought this place quite straight;o) It’s main draw is a few pretty girls who give remarkable lap dances for $5, and some not as pretty who do the same. It is a fun and friendly place and I enjoy it despite the lack of hands on engagement. Sandy, the barmaid/server has remarkable 38DDs and will bare them in the VIP area. It is a great show for those of us who enjoy really big real things!

It's been a few months since my last visit.

The only thing that has changed since my last review is the girls: turnover, turnover, turnover. Are there a stream of drop-dead gorgeous ladies waiting to sweep you off your feet? No. I arrived during day shift and stayed through night shift, and the only difference between the two is that night shift seemed to be a little stricter on "The Rules." Bouncer roamed the club with his eyes, waved an accusatory finger at any girl that seemed to be crossing the invisible line between good and evil, and generally spoiled our good time. All in all though, best $5 lap dances to be had, as long as you keep an eye on what dancer gives the better dances to other clients in the house. The $20 VIP isn't worth the upsell in my opinion.

Arrived at 4 pm and stayed until closing... but keep a weather eye out. It's easy to find yourself treated like a walking ATM.

This review is for my last 2 visits, with the rating being an average. I've only been here during the day shift so I have no idea about the evening experience.

Most of the dancers aren't much to look at, but I have found a few of those diamonds in the rough. The trick is getting to them before someone else does. My first visit was successful in that regard as I met up at the bar with the best looking dancer on the day shift, spending my entire visit with her. Several $5 table dances, a couple $20 vips, , good mileage both places, good conversation, in short my perfect visit to a strip club.

Visit #2 was just the opposite. My favorite dancer from the previous trip wasn't working, and a survey of the girls working revealed only a couple I would be interested in at all. One who I have had good dances from in the past was with a customer...and stayed with him the whole time I was there, even after tipping her on stage and asking her to come see me. I did get a couple dances from the other one, who didn't look half bad, but gave a very uninspiring dance..never spoke, never even looked at me while she did her lazy ass dance. A nipple rubbed across my nose was as good as it got.

Good times are to be had here, but I guess you either need to be lucky or persistant.

I arrived about 9:30 on a Friday night. There were still plenty of seats and plenty of dancers. Four or five were above average, most average or below. I got at least 12 dances from a variety and did the VIP three times. The dances were good but the VIP was disappointing, especially after being promised "much more". But considering the place has a full bar, and the table dances are only $5 you could do much worse. I get through the area about twice a year and I'll keep stopping by.

I can only give you one piece of advice about this place, you should run and run fast and far to get away from this place. I might be one the saddest strip clubs I have ever visited. The only reason I am giving it a 2 is because they had lots of available parking. The place is not the easiest to find and that may be a good thing for you as you may change your mind about visiting. The club layout is not bad. As you walk in, bar to you immediate right against the front wall, to your left is a pool table and a stage. Lots of floor space between the two. Chairs are lined up against both walls; with the left wall also having a small VIP room, DJ booth and the bathrooms. I saw about 6 girls, all in the 1-3 category, sorry fellas put my hour in and couldn't stay any longer to see if it got any better. The place has $5.00 table dances and that could be a bonus if they have a diamond in the rough. If you go with low expectations, it may work. The place and parking lot was safe, but this place is not worth a visit in my opinion.

Been a while since I have been here. use to be a favorite. Many of the dancers I knew have moved on, but there is always new ones to get interested in. The best thing about this club are the dance prices. They just can;t be beat anywhere around. Good to stop by day shift or night shift. Slow at shift change (7pm)

I just returned from a visit to L&L, arriving at 5pm and leaving at 7pm. It's been six months since I've been here, but I recognized a few of the dancers. Table dances are a great value at $5, obviously some better than others. I didn't opt for a $20 vip this trip, nor did anyone else while I was there. No extras available in the club except for an occasional kitty view/touch. I and one dancer actually got called down by the bouncer/dj for a little excess contact I guess. At $5/dance you can sample practically every dancer without blowing your roll (bank). $5 entry fee with membership, beers are $4.50.

There are a couple older dancers with high mileage that shouldn't really be there. They bug the hell out of you for dances...one finally got the point I believe after about 10 rejections from me alone.

The best dance was from Cory..tall blonde, girl next door look. Leigha also gives a good one as well. These two were the best looking in the club and they are 8 (Cory) and 6(Leigha). Mostly 5-6's with the 2 older ones ranking a 3-4 from me. Still, with the table dance value and good views and some mileage, it's a nice place to spend a weekday afternoon.

Visited abut 2pm on a Thursday afternoon. About 12 dancers and 5 customers when I walked in. Girls ranged from 4- 7. Seemed like all of the girls had the same quality of life as a Waffle House waitress, so it was kind of hard to have a decent conversation. At the price of $5 per song, got LD's from just about all the dancers that were there.

Quality of the dances ranged from air to flash the kitty to please stick your finger in the kitty. The club is not very big and the lap dancers are done in the open, so observe closely for the high mileage dances. The best looking girl in the place was giving hot dances to a regular, I got almost all air when she danced for me. I took a couple of the high mileage girsl to the VIP (a half wall area right behind the DJ booth) and got only slightly better dance for $20 per song. I would say that the VIP upcharge is not worth it.

Club is a good diversion for a couple of hours, as long as you are not expecting highly attractive or highly intelligent women.

I’ve made several visits to L&L over the past few weeks, some either just before or just after stopping at Platinum Plus in Greenville, down I-85 a scosch. While this place is small with pretty much a “neighborhood bar” atmosphere it improves with each visit. Maybe I’m getting to be a regular. It certainly doesn’t meet the standard of YSC in Tampa or Ricks in Seattle, two of the very, very best, but the $5 laps here shame the “two for $40” deals at PP across the board. The stage dances are just as good, and the girls, while marginally not as pretty, are hugely more friendly, and understand that “lap dancing” consists of more rubbing and less bumping and humping. With the right girl, and under the right circumstances, visits to the small, and less than completely private, VIP area can be rewarding. NC is not a great place for strip clubs, but this L&L is more enjoyable than any other I’ve checked in several years.

First time visit here. Small club that felt crowded on a Friday afternoon. $20 VIP not any different than the high mileage table/chair $5 dance. Girls range all over the board. Extras not available for me although they may have thought I was LE since first timer. Will stick with Platinum in Greenville SC.

Had to go back again...still one of the very best values around! Incredible $5 dances. Small place but lots of dancers to choose from as well as private, very private, area. I'd say this is the best one of the LNL clubs. Plan to spend at least an hour or so when in Gastonia, you'll be happy.

This review combines two visits on February 17 and February 19.

After reading prior reviews of L&L, a friend and I decided to stop by the club on our way to and from Atlanta from points North. On Feb. 17, we arrived during dayshift, around 5:30 pm. $10 cover, but this cover grants you an annual membership of $5 for the remainder of the year. I walked in, my eyes adjusted to the dim light, and I shuddered and thought coming here was a mistake. The talent on stage was, to be kind, rough around the edges. I ordered a $4.75 beer and started planning my exit strategy. Soon after, I started talking to a regular who eventually hooked me up with a dancer named Peaches, and the sun shined, birds began to sing, and I was in Heaven. Far and away, Peaches is THE dayshift dancer: a tall, leggy blonde with gorgeous face and genuine personality who gave me dance after $5 dance like she was my girlfriend. (Strike that: not like a girlfriend, more like a mistress.)

Dayshift gave way to night, and the seduction kept on flowing. Despite being four hours from our final destination, my friend and I stayed until closing -- which oddly enough this night was 2:45 am, as the crowd was shedding money and the manager was all-too-willing to collect. Made for a tired drive, but it was well worth it. As reported before, lap dance contact between dancer and customer was excellent. Even outside the "VIP room," my mouth somehow found its way to a dancer's lips, her breasts, and her nipple; and my hand roamed essentially freely. Mileage though definitely varies depending upon the girl. The $20 VIP room is worth it with some girls, completely not worth it with others. The girls themselves run the complete spectrum on looks; a smattering are quite pretty and sensual, the majority need to lose at least a few pounds, and a couple of older units should be embalmed. Watch out for the older units... they troll the floor for cash.

Feb. 19 was more of the same: the girls my friend and I saw on the 17th actually remembered us, which is always a plus on my grading scale. Contact was the same, the older units were still there eager to separate a man from his wallet, and the ratio of lookers to look-awayers was about the same.

This club would gets an 8 primarily because of the $5 lapdances and the high degree of contact. The club itself is a hole-in-the-wall, which I actually prefer mostly because of my small-town roots. Neighborhood seems safe, parking is adequate... I was never worried about getting knocked over the head as I left the club. What could make this club better? A greater quantity of genuinely attractive talent, for one: I'd average the ladies in the 5-6 range, with a couple of 7's or 8's floating around. The other detriment is the environment that management creates. The L&L management has all sorts of tip fees and fines imposed that basically forces the girls to be mercenaries in order to make any money for themselves. And watch out when management strolls the floor -- the lapdances get suddenly subdued.

Finally, something that bothered me both nights: patrons sitting along the stage, watching girls dance, and not throwing the obligatory dollar the dancer's way. What the hell is that all about? Tipping a dollar or two to the girl who is gyrating in front of you is the foundation of the strip club -- it's etiquette. Most of the men I saw stage-side coughed up nothing as the girls strutted the stage and worked the pole. It obviously still bugs me.

Recommended dancers: dayshift 12p-7p, Peaches. Nightshift, 7p-close, Trixie, Mercedes, Emmy, Skyler.

Already planning my return, even though the club is 7 hours away. Road trip!!!


Went by here a couple weeks ago during the day. First time in years. One of the best shows for the money. $5 table dances with several girls to chose from. Perhaps one of the best clubs in the area. Will definitely go back.

Always good for the $5 dances. Most of the time the $20 "VIP" dances aren't worth the upcharge. This time I wandered into the VIP with two of the girls, and they put on quite a show, as well as providing nice mileage. The $80 I dropped on two songs was pretty steep, but it was a fun set.

I made my second visit here recently and was pleasantly surprised. On my first visit there might have bee 6 girls working, this time there were probably 15, both were daytime visits. There were a few young, cute dancers, probably 7-9, who were apparently new. I got one $5 table dance from one of these, which was just ok, but for $5 one can't complain too much. I think most of the young cute ones would fall into this category. I then got a dance from one of the "vererans", which was definitely more contact. I ended up getting 4 tableside dances, with each more enticing than the one before. By the 4th dance, she was showing kitty and somehow her nipple ended up in my mouth. She talked me into a VIP dance, which I usually don't do because my experience has been no difference from the $5 dances. However, this one was different as full kitty petting was permitted; basically unlimited touching on my part. I didn't think that was too bad for $20.

They also have a nice rule...dancers can only sit with the same customer for 4 songs, then they must rotate. I've been reading a lot about dancers spending all night with regulars, so this policy does ensure some movement at least.

The quality of girls ranges widely here. A couple at the lower end really shouldn't be working at a strip club, while there were a couple of 8-9s who could work anywhere although they didn't seem that enthusiastic..I'm chalking it up to being new to the biz. Most are in the 5-7 range, so when coupled with potential high mileage, makes for a nice combination. Also, most are very friendly and will sit and just talk with you as well.

I arrived about 6pm on a Friday evening, intending to spend an hour or two at most here and then move on. Somewhere around midnight I pulled out of the parking lot. I spent a very enjoyable night and got about ten of the $5 dances from different girls. I visited the VIP ($20) three times, twice with Corey. She was the find of the night. Mr. Likestrippers was pretty accurate. Went there yesterday & but for an emergency out-of-town root canal I would have gone back today. I spent a lot with a lot of girls & found only three that delivered adequately. Two old-timers (& showing mileage) and a younger gal (but only a 5 or so). My hands roamed considerably but I'm usually pretty discreet. For sure I'll try Teddy Bears next time & hope for better than L&L.

I was at L&L on 9/10/05 and the girls are almost all different and the rules seem to change each time I go there. There was much more bad attitudes from the girls this time. The girls really pushed hard for the VIP's which are no better than the $5 dances. Some became rude when a trip to VIP was refused. Either a change in attitudes or finding some new girls would definitely help. The girls this time ranged from 2 to an occasional 6 but none better than that. The dances are usually pretty good contact from the girl. This particular trip the girls were much too mechanical. They all seemed stressed and in a bad mood for some reason. I always get a lot of dances but none were very memorable this trip. Very unusual for L&L. I am normally a big fan.

Took a pass on the couch and headed back to Charlotte. Would return again.

I really like this place! The girls are 4 to 8. But some are really aggressive. $5 table dances. $20 VIP is well worth it. Last time I went I stayed in the VIP. This time too. This review is for my vist last tuesday. There were about 10 girls all 5-7's there, and most weere very friendly. I got table side dances with about 5 diffrerent girls. Most very very good LD. I had a great time for a couple hours. Also, my time there overlapped both shifts and both shifts had some very attractive girls. The music is a bit too loud here though.

This continues to be one of my favorite clubs - though full service is very difficult to get. Simple, talbe-side lap dances that are not all air are only $5. Day shift is much less crowded.

Went to this club based on reviews and was not disappointed. Club is not much to look at outside or inside. One stage at opposite end of bar with straight-bakc chairs lining the wall. VIP is not very private. It is one couch behind saloon type doors directly beside the DJ, who can look down from his perch.

The punch linw to thei club is the $5 dances. Just as other reviews, the $5 LD are as good as most clubs for grindage. Also use the $5LD to decide on who to take back to VIP, if you go at all. Now the VIP, had two dances and both girls pulled g-string aside for full view. Okay, this club doesn't have the best looking chicks. Nor are the girls particularly wild. Every once and a while you may even run into girl with missing teeth or a bad attitude. But for $5 a dance, you get more grinding per dollar than any other club in the country.

And if you go on a Friday or Saturday, you see quite a few chicks in the 7-9 range and even more in the 5-7 range. So, just be patient, look past the girl with missing teeth and live it up for $5 a dance.

Another nice thing is that the girls do proposition you a lot for dances. At some clubs, this can be annoying, but at $5 a dance, the more propositioning the better!


I was here on a wed nite about 3 weeks ago. The place was hard to find the first time, I drove by it and did not see it since it hides behid the fence of the adjourning property. After I went too far down Main st and turned around, I found it easily as I headed back East on Main.

The outside of the building is very unimpressive, but there is plenty of parking, at least from 6pm until 730 pm while I was there. The seating was comfortable inside, which lined the walls of the long narrow building.

The $5 table side dances are excellent. Great value. Nothing happens for the $1 tip at the stage, except to tell the girl to stop by your seat for a table side dance. Otherwise they did not seem to stop by my table, except for one "less attractive" dancer. I will be back to try this place again this month hopefully.

The girls here vary from about 5-9. It's kind of a strange place. There's certainly a trashy element here. It's very smokey. The girls very much tend to stay away from anyone they don't already know. Most won't approach you at all. You have to be very aggressive to get any attention here; maybe it's different if you're a regular already. I did eventually manage to get a couple of lap dances. Lap dances are out in the open, unless you go in the VIP. The value is unbeatable- $5/dance. Boob touching is generally allowed, some dancers will touch you. Kitty petting seemed to be off limits. In summary, if you get established here, it's a great value with a reasonable nasty factor. The dancers could stand to be a little more friendly & welcoming.

Cover was $7, soda 2 bucks. The club is a fairly dark, long room with a bar at one end, a stage at the other where the dancers do two song sets -- the second topless -- and tables or benches long the side walls. I was there for opening on a Saturday. There were a half dozen or more ladies who, while not unattractive, wouldn’t have garnered much notice at the mall, fully clothed. There was also a grossly fat DJ, bouncer, manager, whatever who watched every chair in the place, either directly or via mirror, more like a vulture than a hawk.

Easier directions than those you have posted are to take the US 321 exit from I-85 southwest (toward Gastonia) to Main Ave. Turn right and it is a short distance to L&L on the right-hand side of the street.

It was about 11 on a Friday night when I pulled in to the parking lot. Found a spot and was "wanded" in. $7 cover (no membership since I'm out of town); very small and overcrowded. It took me several minutes to get oriented and quite a while to get a seat. Finally got a chair back by a pool table, away from the stage. The trick is to find one and get several dances and find a seat closer to the stage. Many of the girls stayed in this area. I didn't try a VIP dance. I'll be back in the area soon and will have a better idea how this place works. Good looking girls and a $5 dance. Not bad at all.

Have been in this club a couple of times in the past month. The afternoon dancers are fair to middling in looks: 5-8. You would think that the afternoon dances would be higher mileage than the evening ones - but I would say they are about the same. Both very high mileage for $5 floor dances. Evening dancers are better looking and more plentiful - but so are the customers. It is very difficult to find a chair - and if you get up you are likely to lose it - especially at night. Beers are steep - $4.50 for a Budweiser. As for the much storied VIP room - your mileage varies greatly - they have installed cameras and if the dancer is not the right one it is a waste of $20. Recommend trying them out on the floor first.
The club is kind of hard to find - follow the directions closely.

Was there on 6/19 and 6/20. Cover was $7 each night, did not make me by membership since I'm from out of town, had another member sign me in. Dances were $5 on the floor and $20 in VIP. Bottle water was $2, do not know about any other drinks. Had dances that contained good mileage on the floor and very good mileage in the VIP area from several girls. Highly recommend this club if you are in the area.

I was very disappointed. Having read the other reviews I was expecting more, much more. I'm from Columbia, which is strip club heaven compared to Charlotte, and have never been impressed with the clubs in Charlotte. As was in the area and it sounded like this place was different, and it is, but either I'm spoiled or it takes very little to impress the other reviewers.

I was impressed by the $5 dollar dance price and not much else. There was grinding but a who cares attitude. Not one girl said anything other than, "wanna dance?" Pityful. These girls had less personality than chicken broth. And they certainly didn't make up for it with good looks. You will get a better dance for a dollar tip at the stage at the Platinum club in Cola than the $5 dances here.

The dances were cheap so you would think a beer would be cheap, but no. It was 4.50 for a Bud. The $7 admission and the cost of a couple of beers is too much to pay to look at tired, unattractive women even if they will grind your crotch a bit. I'm not sure where the $5 dollar figure is coming from. I was there last Saturday night and the table dances were the usual $10. Maybe it's less on weekdays/weeknights? The Leather and Lace Club is located right off of US 321 in good old Gastonia. To get to it head down 321 into downtown Gastonia. If you are coming off of I-85 take exit 17 (i believe) and head down 321 south towards downtown Gastonia. Make a right onto Main St. and the Leather and Lace Club will be about 1/2 a mile down the road on the right. Admittance is 7 bucks with an MAL Membership (10 if you are under 18 but have a membership.)

When you first enter the club you might be suprised at its size. When considering the large number of people it gets on the weekend, it can easily turn into standing room only. The stage is of a moderate size and is T-shaped with chairs surrounding the stage. Every time that I have been, they usually have a good amount of dancers. Some cons are that some of the dancers will hole themselves up in the dressing room, and like in most clubs some dancers have their regular customers. All in all, I find that the dancers can range from very ugly to drop dead gorgeous. Also, some dancers tend to be on the older side, although they do have a good amount of younger women on the weekends and at night. Usually there is a very good mix of dancers who won't disappoint.

Lap dances are $10, although lat week when I went on a Friday, they were only 5 bucks (I'm not sure if this was a special, or a change they made for 2004). VIP Dances are 20 bucks and are usually very worth your money.

At this club, I've gotten all types of dances and have never left disappointed. Depending on the dancer, I've gotten full contact dances where their sole purpose was to get me off, all the way to dances where the dancer would tease me the whole time. Here you can expect pretty much every dance to contain contact and you can also expect to see more than most clubs in North Carolina will allow (if you catch my drift).

Overall, the Leather and Lace is one of my favorite clubs and if you are simply looking to see a lot and get some good dances, then I can guarantee you won't leave disappointed...Just watch out for the weekend crowds, which are usually standing room only, and you should be fine. If you are looking for a nicer club where the dancers will actually sit and talk with you for a while, then avoid this club...You can get this kind of treatment during the early afternoon, but it usually takes becoming a regular to get this kind of treatment.
