Hit the Pump House yet again. Went in and this time there were about 4 black girls and 2 white ones. I was the only white guy there, which is nothing unusual. I have been there quite a few times before and came across a white girl once before. Anyway, the 2 white chicks were all over me the minute they saw me. One of them was late 30's early 40's, and the other was younger but heavy and saggy in all the wrong places. The older one came right out and told me that they both like when a white guy comes in because thats the only way the white chicks make any money. This is a bs story, but whatever. Both these chicks would not leave me alone the entire evening. They were both extremely pushy for dances, and told me that the white girls don't do the 2 for 1 specials. WTF??? I got one dance from the younger heavy chick, not so good, low mileage when compared to the black chicks there. I used to like this place, it was quiet, never had any trouble, and got good mileage. Anyway, now there is a new bouncer there and he is an asshole. It also seems like a bad crowd moved in. Pool players on the back are pushy, loud and rude. The girls seem pushier now for dances than they were before and the mileage seems less. This place used to be great, but seems to be going down hill lately. I will probably go back one more time to see if this was just another bad night, but this is the third or fourth night like this. (I don't review every time I go).

Rough looking place. About two seconds into my visit I was met at the bar by Chocolate, who proceeded to talk my ear off but was very sweet. Didn't get a good look at the club because I was trying not to be rude and walk off. Lots of youngsters here. Must be an 18 and over place. There was one pretty good looking dancer but I can't recall her name. Bought a beer and threw in my five dollars, so place cost me $12 total. $1 tip to the house and $2 in quarters for the pool table. Chocolate wasn't bad for chat but I didn't get any dances. Understood that there's a decent menu but that's assuming the guy brought (and kept) an appetite. Shot a very, very long game of pool. One reason was because my playing partner was no pool shark and the other was because very easy shots became hard because these kids would move their feet slightly but apparently didn't figure out that a good shot requires good body positioning, too. But since the image out there is everybody must "go hard" these days, why be polite and move? I'm getting a little too far along in life to fight my way out of meaningless situations, especially ones I walk into willingly, so I just shot around the kids, finished my beer and took off. Left four quarters so they had something to do other than sit around and stare down people with better things to do. On some level I think they gave me as much respect as they knew how, maybe they were raised by wolves...To top it off, to get in and out of this place you have to walk a gauntlet of asian massage parlors on either side with them yelling at you and doing everything but snatching you to get your attention. I've heard that's happened, too. Pump House was the first real club I hit in Fayetteville after the episodes over on Murchison and Yadkin, and by now the whole scene in this city was getting depressing. Not to mention my navigator had tapped out at the local Sonic and I was now getting by on memory and some quickly scribbled landmarks. Longer story short, being in that little strip mall horeshoe (parking lot bordered by clubs on three sides with Bragg Blvd along the fourth) surrounded by all those echoing voices wasn't cool at all. Avoid the whole area unless you really, really want to make a run to Mickey's a few doors up.

STopped by here 2 weeks ago on a Thursday evening. They now have a bouncer. Prior visits, they never had a bouncer present and it was almost anything goes in the private room, now with the bouncer, well the quality of the dance went downhill. Beers also went up in price a bit, think it was 3-4 a beer. Microwave popcorn is out on the bar for a snack, and ramen noodles are up for grabs. I passed on both. I was there for 2.5 hours and saw 2 dancers on stage the entire time. This pace used to be good for decent contact dances, but I heard LEO paid them a visit and well, now it isn't that great anymore. Dancers are all thick, black chicks. Be warned, one dancer, the only skinny dancer there is actually a transvestite. The bartender/mamasan warned me about him/her while I was at the bar. I will think twice before I decide to go back. Also, after 9:30pm and on weekends, there is now a $5.00 cover charge.

Stopped in last week (Friday Night). I go to Mickey's a lot during the afternoon, and the Pump House is right beside it, but they are closed during the day so I'd never had the chance to see the Punp House. Well, this place lives up to it's reviews. It has an interesting mix of girls--mostly Asian and black, and they ranged from 4's to 8's. I got 2 private dances, both relatively high mileage, and was offered "extras" by one dancer, but didn't have the cash to take her up on it. My only complaint is that the dancers here are pretty pushy for VIP's. I was hustled from the minute I walked in--even before I'd got my drink. I was the only white guy in the club, but felt comfortable and relaxed. I'll be back...

Stopped by here last night. It was a Wednesday night, so I wasn't expecting it to be crowded, but this place gave new meaning to the term "dead" Like I said before, this is a "black" club, but white guys are welcome. all the girls were black with the exception of the "floor manager" kim. Anyway, they now have a $5.00 cover charge. I spent an hour there, and saw 1 girl on stage. Got a private v.i.p. dance from a girl called coconut. She claimed it was her first time dancing. usually I don't buy that crap, but I believed her this time. She stepped on me once, tripped on the couch, and didn't get within a foot of me during the whole dance. Beers are $3.00, the girls beg for you to buy them a drink, and they are actually allowed to drink beer while working there. Extras weren't offered this time, but there are a few girls there who claim not to work at this place, but I suspect they are there to offer outside services to customers. One girl kept hounding me for a game of pool, then asked me if i was looking for a date. She asked me about the date in front a few other girls there that she seemed to be hanging out with. I declined.

My second time here. I am beginning to like this club. This is a mostly black club, though I am a white guy and had no trouble. No cover charge, tiny dance area, but extras are available(although I didnt partake). Had 4 ladies working. 3 black chicks and 1 asian. Pretty much empty as far as customers go. No cover charge, expensive drinks, and of course they have the drink you can buy for the ladies. That sucker costs $7.00. Good contact on the dances. Overall a pretty decent club. Like I said, extras are available, if thats your thing.

Stopped by the pump house a few days ago. this is mostly a black guys club, but being a white guy, I was welcomed and did not feel awkward. this place is surrounded by the infamous Mickey's jack shacks and its an adventure just getting into the place. Anyway, small club, bigger inside than it looks outside, but still kinda small. 4 dancers were there. decent dances, even better vips. All totaled i spent 60 that night and had a good time. Dancers were average of 5-6's. But they were friendly. I left when i heard and argument outside the door. I will be back.

Went to pump house last saturday night. After gettting turned down at mickeys due to not being a member i decided to walk around the parking lot. For those familiar with the area, you allknow the parking lot is surrounded by "Juicy bars". Once I was spotted walking all the korean ladies came out of their bars and tried to wave me in. i passed on all of them, thats not my thing. I ended up at pump house. This is immediately next door to mickeys. Went inside and discovered 2 things. One, this is a predominantly black club, and Two, its super small. Almost everyone inside was black. i am a white guy and surprisingly felt welcomed. Inside was tiny, but didnt feel too crowded because it was nearly empty. Average prce beers, no cover. I sat at the bar and had a few ladies come and offer me a dance. Took one petite girl up on her offer. $10.00 dance, allowed my hands to roam a bit. her hands did no roaming though. Overall, not a bad club. i imagine when its full, its small size would make it feel a bit stuffy and overcrowded, but on a slow night, not too bad of a time can be had there.
