First of all, I must preface this review by stating that this is by far the nicest, most elegant black strip club I have been to, period! When you walk it, it gives you all the vibes of your high class dance club. There is a bar to your left as you enter the club, followed by several pool tables and another bar to your right. Continuing down the hall, you will enter the main stage area which also has a bar. The physiques ranged from short & petite to tall and thick with everything in between. I got a lap dance from a dancer named Triple Platinum and she was definitely worth it. Will visit this club again on my return trips to Charlotte.

I would recommend visiting this club...but only if your ready to spend some serious cash. I thought the club was pretty nice...the girls were smokin hot & the service was amazing. When you walk in, the layout of the place is pretty sweet, and all the girls seem to know whats on your mind(whether you need a drink, dance, v.i.p. treatment, or just want to talk for a minute.) Dont get me wrong, their about their business as well. I felt their dancing was a little erotic, not the trashy kind, but the kind that drew you in and made you want to keep watching and giving them more money as if your the only guy in the room! I am positive that i will be visiting this place more often.

Stay away from this club. The women are gorgeous but the environment is sketchy. There has been two shooting incidents that I know of. The last time I was there a fight broke out between the strippers which provided another form of entertainment. The police are hanging out outside this place all the time which is always a bad sign. Drink prices are about the same as anywhere but the drinks are a bit watered down.

Club Onyx is a really upscale Black club. It used to be Club 2000, so it's three clubs in one, even now. Drinks were kinda high, but that's to be expected.

A variety of Black ladies with a "no-touch" policy, which is unusual with many Black strip clubs in the state. I believe that they import many girls from outside of NC. All of these girls were "dimes." Not an ugly one among them.

The table dance were basic "air" dances, but they were nice. I didn't go home with perfume on me. One space is strictly for the ladies on weekends (male dancers), but I've never been in that part (for various reasons). No sex in the champagne room here, but it's still a great upscale club to go to.

Onyx is a huge club that actually houses several bars but the main action is in the strip club. In fact, I've never seen anyone in the pool bar but then, with all of the beautiful women in the strip club who wants to shoot pool?

There are three stages in the strip club - the main stage and then two very small stages off to either side. The VIP are is wide open so, like most Charlotte clubs there's minimal contact. As the name implies, Club Onyx is a black club so if you want a white dancer don't bother. However, if you like black women then Onyx is a great club. You'll find everything from hot spinners to big booty beauties to a few who are just plain big.

Table dances are $10 and the VIP is $25. There's also the obligatory Champagne Room (actually Champagne Area is more accurate as it's really just a sectioned off area of the club) but I can't attest to anything there as I didn't make it back there.

Overall if you want a black club you won't find anything better in the Charlotte area. But if you want variety you'll do better at one of the other locations.

I disliked this club because it had a male strip club for the women but it seemed as if management forgot it existed. The tables an chairs were cheaper and less comfortable compared to the seats on the female side. The male dancers were a big disappointment: only 2 could dance and the rest had shabby bodies and were to old. Going to the female side is laughable because the variety of women is great but the majortiy of them have unpleasing figures and a scary face. The last time I went a fight broke out between the female dancers and they almost closed the club or the night. The female bartenders have had to cursed out by me on numerous acusations because they prefer to serve males first.I will not return to this club.

It's got a nice upscale atmosphere but it's not stuffy. It's actually 3 clubs in one. I was not interested in the night club or the male strip club. The room with the ladies is real big and spacious. The decor is nice and the music is straight up hip-hop. And it is definitely the place to go in Charlotte if you are a butt man. And I mean the nice round and juicy kind. This is not the place to go if you are looking for big fake breasts. Most of the women in the looks department are average to attractive. I got a couple of lap dances from Jay and Chastity. And they both gave me a woody. Both were petite which is unusual for me. Jay had both nipples pierced and was a cutie. She could also dance her ass off. I'm definitely going back to take her in the VIP area and see what she can really do. My buddy hooked up with a girl named Paris. She was attractive with a real good personality. She had small breasts but a real nice womanly figure. And she kept him entertained for most of the evening. It was a real good night.

Although I live pretty clost to Charlotte and once upon a time even lived in Charlotte, I have never visited a gentleman's club here - until now. I know of 2 dancers that work there and they asked that I come and sample the place, so I made the trip and was pleasantly surprised.

It is nice and spacious with upscale feel (as compared to most of the other black strip clubs I've visited throught the states). Reasonable cover and drink prices. Hot waitresses that are attentive but not pushy to get you to buy more drinks or drinks for the ladies.

I was surprised to see so many single women and couples in the club. Like this is "the spot" on a Saturday night. When I left at about 1:30am the club was packed inside with a line outside the door and down the sidewalk.

This is a topless club with very little "flashing of the kitty" that I have seen come to expect in most of the black clubs that I have visited. I held off on getting dances until I saw what given for the $10 table dance. Lots of air was what I observed but eventully gave in a purchase a few from 2 of the girls that I felt did a great job even with the no-touch restrictions.

The ladies in this place are awsome. All shades of caramel and chocolate, short/tall, thick/slim. natural and silicon.... There was definited a chocolate beauty in this club to fit any man's taste. I did not witness any dogs or cows in the group. And all that spoke to me were very friendly with nice attitudes.

Divine A real petite little carmel cutie. Seductive look and nice personality. Dances are EXPLOSIVE. She really works to please. Had to have her private dance for me and glad I did.

Magic Dark, tall and thick. Very energetic and enthusiatic. She really works up sweat when she's daning for you. I had to get a few private dances with her because she was just my type of hottie. After she's done, a cigarette would probably be in order (if you smoke).

VIP is not as you would expect but the rules of the floor do not apply in here.... Up to you as to whether you think it's worth $25. For me it was, because, I'm used to paying the same or even more in other cities for VIP.

Overall: Nice club with very nice eye candy. Close to Top 20 club for me but still cannot touch my favorites in Columbia and Dallas. But, I guess it, nice for Charlotte. I'll have to make time to try some of the others to see how they stack up.

Went the other day and Imust say it is one of the better black clubs in Charlotte. Almost as good as Club Champagne. The interior is upscale(particularly for a black titty bar) though the bathrooms are a bust. They say they are open for lunch which makes it good for the working black man. Most black clubs don't get started till 12. The downside is there were few girls when I went in the other day. Those there were all at least 7's

good sized club, 1 main stage, 2 or three satellite stages. decent seating. On a Friday night the parking lot was packed but inside seemed empty. Not that many dancers for a large club on Fiday night, 15 at most. Sadly few seemed attractive. One had a decent body, but since she was an artist, had shaved half of her head. $10 table and $25 "private" dances, but this is Charlotte, there are no private dances. Pretty frequent 3 for 2 round ups, so at least you see who all is in the house.

Still a large club, but not much of a crowd. Lots of one on one dances, with great contact in good atmosphere. Dancers seem to be laid back, so I'd reccomend it for a good time. Best for late nights!

went 1/26 (Thursday night), $7 cover (without membership=$10, see previous review). Drinks $6.50. They were offering 2 for 1 dances (topless only) often (I think due to low attendence) in VIP area ($25 total). There were 10-15 dancers, ranging from 5-7. I got 1 VIP dance from Christina, who was ok (light contact). VIP area is big open area behind table area so not too much privacy. Better off just getting regular dance at a table against back wall for $10.

There are other clubs nearby (Men's club) which has better looking women, but more expensive.


went 10/3 (monday) night @ 930pm. $10 cover. Large main dance room and large bar room w/ big screen showing MNF game. 6-8 girls available ranging from 5-7. Because it was Monday night and Panthers were playing, extremely quiet. Table dances $15 (only had 1 dance from a blond, no grinding, no touching her, but she touched me) , VIP dances $25. VIP room $400/hr (didnt investigate). Girls commented that Monday and Wednesday nights are slow in general. 1 main stage. Girls dance topless during 3 song shift. I was dissapointed in the quality and # of women, considering this was supposed to be an upscale club. Girls generally nice, but not overly attractive.

A little expensive - laps are 15 on the main floor (..but everybody gives me 20). The damn rotating lights ("for effect") mean you'll wind up getting the bright light in your face every second or so. For that reason alone I won't go back. In fact, if I hadn't fallen in lust I would have leaft much earlier.

I made my first visit to Rick's Cabaret. I hadn't been to it's earlier incarnation as club 2000. I had heard it was a cool place to go, with a men's strip club on one side of the building and a Male revue club for the ladies on the other, and with a lounge in between! It sure sounded like fun! Maybe I didn't stick around long enough, but by 11:30, the place was still not quite what I expected. They had some nice looking girls and from what I could tell the VIP area was rather secluded. I didn't get any VIP dances though. I decided to split and check out another place, with the possible intention of returning later. I went to the Uptown Cabaret. Check out the reviews for that club for my take on it.

It's formly Club 2000, but is now Rick's Cabaret, and still have The Male Room. Check it out!

My wife and I went to these clubs Friday night. The place really doesn't get going until almost 1130, and the bar tender told us on Saturday, it doesn't really get doing until 1230. We paid the general admission to get in, $10 for me, $7 for my wife and had a couple of beers as people slowly started getting there. $3 for a domestic beer was fantastic! We could see in to the strip club while we had our beer and finally someone got up on stage, so we went in. $3 for me, my wife was free. Pretty classy place, lots of mirrors around the stage, and the girls enter down a mirror staircase onto the stage - again, pretty classy. The girls were all about 8-9's, with some really fantastic natural girls. A few fake ones, but it is easy enough to look the other way when they are on stage. They danced one song on the main stage, clothes on. One song topless, and then two songs in the center stage topless. The center stage is smaller, and the lighting is very poor for it. There were these two guys that hung around all the time, constantly correcting the girls and telling them they could not do certin things. Even got after the waitress once or twice. When a guy would come to the center stage to tip, one of these guys was right there, watching close up. Didn't care for that, and because of them, you can count on nothing but air. Table dance was $10, and VIP (in a wide open area just inside the door) was $25. Didn't do either, the stage tips provided the same level of entertainment. Asked if we could go between the bars so my wife could see the guys, but was told she was allowed in the female strip club, but I was not allowed in the male strip club.

Overall, pretty cool experience. Just don't go too early, and expect a lot of 18-21 year olds running around.

CLUB: The basic layout of the clubs is described under the editor's comments. There is ample free parking.

COVER: Patrons must pay a cover charge for the regular dance club (Club 2000) and then a separate charge for the strip club (Platinum Club). I went on Friday night and the cover was $10 for the Club 2000. I then had to pay an extra $3 cover for the strip club. The nightclub offers free cover with a room key from Howard Johnson.

DRINKS: Coke: $2; Bud bottle: $3. Patrons can carry booze from the strip club to the dance club and back.

LAYOUT: There are three stages. Girls dance two songs on the front stage, two songs on the middle stage, and two songs on the side stage. On the front stage, girls dance one song clothed and one song topless. On the middle and side stages, girls dance two songs topless. The side of the club (where the side stage is located) has a large opening in the wall so that patrons walking to and from the dance club can look into the strip club.

LEVEL OF NUDITY: THIS IS A TOPLESS ONLY CLUB; ALL GIRLS DANCE TOPLESS ONLY. Girls wear G-string (thong) bottoms which show their asses.

GIRLS: APPROXIMATELY 12 GIRLS DANCE HERE. MOST ARE WHITE, WITH 1 OR 2 BLACK GIRLS AND ONE ASIAN GIRL. MOST GIRLS ARE OF STANDARD STRIPPER QUALITY, WITH A FEW NOT PRETTY ENOUGH TO STRIP AND A FEW THAT ARE VERY ATTRACTIVE. The prettiest girl is a blond with big boobs and pierced nipples that glow in the dark. She will spread her legs, shake her ass and stick her tongue out. She is the best for $1 tips.

DANCES: All dances are $10/song and are performed topless only in the main seating area. There is NO CONTACT during these dances---air only. The club runs a 2 for 1 dance special every hour or so.

$1 TIPS: Girls give no contact for $1 tips--patrons can look but not touch. I DISAGREE WITH THE PREVIOUS REVIEWER, WHO SAID THAT GIRLS PRESSURE CUSTOMERS FOR TIPS. I was here several hours and did not experience this at all, and I did not purchase any private dances. If a patron really wants to experience unbelievable harrassment, he should go to the terrible Archibald's in Washington, DC.

VIP AREA: There is a separate VIP area that is located to the left of the cashier (when entering). Private dances are performed there and cost $25/song. It's possible to look into the VIP area, but I did not do so and do not know what happens there.

CLUB 2000: The regular dance club has some pretty girls dancing there (clothed).
