As previously described, Ray's is a local place with a good sized oval bar in one room and pool tables in an adjacent room. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. The club was about one-third to half full. About five dancers performed inside the bar and made a couple of circuits around for tips. Depending on the girl, there was some mild flashing and flirting that made the parade more fun (they get their tips the old fashioned way, they earn it!). The dancers varied. One was great on the pole, very athletic. Others were less skillful but more sensual. Lap dances are $20 paid for up front at the bar and last about 3-5 minutes. The lap dance room is small and dingy with two couches but reasonably private if you're in there alone. Mileage is pretty good depending on the girl. My two lap dances were with a cute blond Ukrainian girl (Tina?--nicely wild) and one Brazilian girl. All in, Ray's is a good club to spend an idle afternoon if you’re in the north-western NJ area.

As the last poster stated this club is a blue collar joint. It is more like a local bar with go-go dancers. The drinks are reasonable priced and they have a couple of pool tables. There is one common area for lap dances. It has two couches, which face each other, for the dance. If you are six feet tall you will not be able to fully extend your legs on the couch. The dancers I have had very good. The club has several Brazilian and eastern European dancers with a very good mix of the local American girls. The club is very nice if you are local and a regular and OK if you are not.

Maybe this club has finally turned a corner .... stopped by on a Thursday night a few weeks ago. Counted maybe 7-8 girls working that night, and I would rate all of them as average and above average (if you know this club's history, that's actually saying a lot). Unlike my last visit a couple of months ago, the music wasn't obnoxiously blaring, and I could hear myself think, not to mention actually be able to chat with the girls without having to scream or lean completely over the bar to hear them.

Had a dance with a Brazilian named Anna. Very friendly girl with nice large tits, but pretty much plays by the rules (at least in this experience). Her downside was that she was a little too money-hungry, and kept asking for "one more dance?" I stopped after 3 - it was nice, but not nice enough to keep going beyond that.

All in all, this place seems to be miles better than it was just a year ago. Hopefully it'll stay like that.

Apparently this club has changed management recently. The eastern European girls are not as prevelent and there are far more girls there. Friday afternoon at least 12 girls, some very attractive and none that most would turn away. This is a very friendly place. My only complaint is that the barmaid is a bit overworked on Friday afternoon. She could probably use a partner. Hoever, when she does get to you she is worth looking at. Definately an asset.

LD room is curtained off area with a couple couches and or chairs, large overstuffed type, not that private, but timing is everything. Area is large enough and dim enough that you are still assured of reasonable privacy.

Worth a trip if yo uare in the area

The hit-and-miss nature of this club continues. On a recent Friday evening there were about 10 girls dancing and, contrary to the dancers that I've seen at this place in the past, none of them were "over the hill." It seemed to be a nice mix of American, Brazilian and Russian, so depending on your taste, there was probably one there for you. My biggest complaint was the music -- it was way, way too loud for my taste, and my ears were ringing for a couple of hours after I left. Plus, it makes chatting with the dancers tough as you have to yell over the sound system.

They have restored the couch dance area that used to be here a couple of years ago. It's about a 10x15 area that's hidden behind a black curtain with 4 or 5 chairs/couches, so unless you're the only one in there, don't expect much privacy. The dance I had on this particular evening was quite tame and forgettable, but I think I she was a relatively new dancer. There was another dancer that I wanted to try, but it looked like she hooked up with a sugar daddy, so I left before she was finished with him.

Bottom line: this place seems to go through good and bad phases, and right now it seems to be in one of its good phases. Hopefully it'll last, but in the past, the good times were fleeting.


Visted again (only because I was working nearby) and again found the place to be almost empty (late afternoon visit)--perhaps 6 or 7 customers and maybe 4 or 5 dancers. As another reviewer mentioned, probably the best looker in the place was the bar maid. Of the girls(?) dancing, two were totally bored (and much too fat) and when they hopped off the stage to take your money, didn't even bother looking at you. There was, however, one rather attractive dancer (Hispanic, mid-thirties with a lean & trim body) who got my attention and my lap dance dollars (sorry 20s). She was a lot of fun and if I'm in the area again, I'll stop in to see her.

Just when I thought things might be improving here, I visited on a recent Friday night and couldn't have been more bored. Only one dancer, who I'd rate a 6, in the time that I was there. Thankfully the bartender was very cute, so there was some nice eye candy.

This place seems to be hit-or-miss these days, so I'll give it another chance, but another night like this and I'll steer clear of this place for a while.

OK, I have now stopped in 3X since my last review. My take is that the talent is improving. I have been in at several different times. Girls range from 7-8 down to likely 4 in looks, but up to 9 in attitude. Massage girl or massage by dancer is really nice. Yes there is a dollar parade, but hey, if the girls don't get $ they don't work, then what would we have?

I have been very pleased with the sales pitch for a LD. I won't post about that as a gentleman doesn't tell.

Visited on a recent Saturday night. Only 2 girls dancing, with one of them rating an 8 and the other a 5. The bartender was very cute, and if dancing would have rated an 8-9 as well. The place seems to be more organized and running better these days. There was a noticeable lack of locals that used to just hang out and monopolize the dancers all the time, which definitely improves the atmosphere. Bottled beer (Corona) was $5.50, which to me is pushing it. If there had been more girls dancing, I'd give this place a 6 or 7.

I stop in here from time to time. In the past I have rated this club very low. I noticed that the ads for this club mention new management and new girls. So,I stopped in today around 2;30 pm (A monday) 3 or 4 girls, eastern european. One real looker a coulpe others OK, but not hot. However definately very friendly. I sadly had to leave, but Iwill return in a week or so on a Monday and take full advantage of the offerings.

The sales pitch was definately much improved from the previous visits.

Hmmm? I do not understand what's wrong here. I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon. I was the fourth patron. No other customers arrived during the 30 minutes I stayed—but one left. There was one girl dancing, quite nice actually. And the club is not bad with a good size bar surrounding a nice stage with pool tables in the back. There appears to be a private dance area on one side of the bar. Now the one dancer would have been a good LD prospect for me, but I didn't have the heart to take her away from the few other brave souls there. By the way, this was the Thursday following Valentine's Day and the Show Place and Ray's both had good sized crowds. Go figure!

Stopped by for the first time in about a year, and what a waste of time it was. I have to wonder if anyone is really taking the management of this club seriously. I arrived around 9:45 on a Saturday night and there were a total of 9 customers in the place, 2 of whom were in the back playing pool. No one was on stage. I should have walked out right there, but instead I ordered a light beer and was charged $5 for it. Ripoff.

With no one on stage, I ended up watching "Anchorman" on one of the TVs to kill the time (hey, at least it was something worth watching). No dancer got on stage until almost 10 minutes after I arrived.

The one that finally did seemed more interested in text messaging someone on her phone than dancing -- she stopped dancing and checked her phone at least 4 times during her 10-minute set. At least she was fairly good looking and gave a nice flash of the goods the one and only time she stopped by for a tip. At the end of her set she disappeared into the dancer's changing room, and once again there was no one left on stage.

After about 30 minutes of seeing almost nothing, I decided that I could find better ways to waste my time somewhere else. At $8 ($5 for the beer, $1 for the bartender and $2 for the titty flash), it was a ridiculously cheap visit.

So, if overpriced beer and watching an empty stage are your idea of a good go-go experience, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your cash and go virtually anywhere else for a better time.

Made my first visit recently around 6:30 on a Tuesday night. As other reviewers have noted, it's more-or-less a typical Jersey bikini club with a long rectangular bar, a couple of pool tables and a collection of mostly less than spectacular dancers. That said though, there was one very sexy little blonde working the night I was there. Would have liked to get a lap dance from her, but instead ended up getting one from her brunette friend who actually gave me a pretty good lap dance. Although the lap dances aren't horribly pricey ($20), it seems the dancers will hit you up for a tip as well. Certainty wouldn't go out of my way to go to this club--I just happened to have had an appointment next door.

This club is really nothing to write home about but it is not as bad as previous posters have made it out to be. You have a few eastern European girls working there and maybe a few Brazilians, if you catch it on the right night, but the fast majority of the dancers are white Americans local to the area. Domestic beers are $5 a bottle, it seems that this is the going rate for the area. The club has a pool table and you can get a pretty good contact lap dance. A lot of the girls who dance at Rumers will also dance at Ray's Inn. Not a bad place is you want to slum it or are into cheap thrills.
