I stopped by Temptations for the first time since I got off work early and was pleasantly suprised witht the place. There were 6 or 7 girls working and only a few guys at any given time. As other people mentioned there is not a lot of stage dancing so it is a little difficult to see who you might want if you have never been there before.

I ended up spending some time with Diamond in the VIP area. She was an attractive and cool girl. Very good dances. She was fine with contact, but she made it clear there would be no fingers in the kitty. The way I know this is because when I tried she moved away for a second and then shoved her bare kitty in my face. Tounges are just fine I guess ;)

I went back to Temptations on a early Friday afternoon $19 cover including a drink. Maybe 5 guys in the club. There 5-6 girls (not sure if one of the girls was actually a dancer or not), 3 blondes, a over eager black girl, a latino brunette. The other girl was wearing a football ref's shirt & I never saw her dance so not sure what her job was. The black girl was thin and pretty but too eager to get a dance. The latino had big tits but had some baby fat on her. One of the blondes looked a bit older but still very hot, nice looking tits and a tight body, one was called Kelly she was sitting with a guy when I got there and went back after she got done dancing. She was very hot fake but great looking tits, very pretty face. The last blonde was Tasha, in her 30's but looks much younger, b cup tits with great nipples, after her stage dance we went into the private dance area & had 6 dances. She was very very good, grabing my package and occasonally biting it through my shorts and sliding her hand up inside my shorts to play around a bit. I've been critical of club after several night visits earlier this year.

However, daytime offers better experience and value. Club atmosphere remains shabby, though management has repaired several torn lap dance couches.

Limited number of dancers that afternoon but two favs were there: Kelly and Sasha. Don't expect continuous stage dancing or a lively atmosphere. Things are slow and value is based on particular dancers and better lapdance experience.

No waitress but Angie the bar hostess was attentive. In afternoons she also keeps track of number of lap dances given and handles the computerized music system. The VIP lapdance area is kept darker than at night and the curtain over the entrance is drawn allowing for more privacy. Since there are fewer customers at this time you and your lapper may be the only ones in the VIP area.

I had had one dance from a relative newbie here and it was enough to convince me to stop after only one , not bad but not worth repeating. I then spent the remainder of my time and $$ on laps with Sasha. My best experience here in a long time. Plenty of two way action. Suffice it to say she earned her money and more if I hadn't been so greedy and spent all on dances and dancer drinks earlier. The relative privacy compared to evenings w/ a bouncer allows for stretching the limits. I'm a regular so YMMV.

None of the dancers knew any more about the ongoig attempt by TNT to win city approval to remodel into an upscale topless alcohol-served Penthouse club.

A members' discussion under Pure Adult Ultra Lounge raised the question whether it was linked to Temptations. The answer is YES. Go to their website, purekc.com, page to bottom of homepage. You'll see a sentence urging you to visit Pure's "sister" clubs: "Pet of the Year Elizabeth Hilton's Playhouse" in Warrensburg, Mo and "The Penthouse Club" in Downtown KC (this is Temptations current location.
Moreover, Elizabeth Hilton worked days at Temptations. These clubs fall under the same corporate umbrella and are connected to "Tiffany Talent Management" offering dancer and other club staff employment opportunities in KC, Fort lauderdale, FL and Hollywood CA!!!

Day dancers were saying business is so slow that they have begun working some nights (double shifts) so you may find Sasha or Kelly at night. If you do get as many dances as you can handle.

I went there on a Friday, a little after noon. It was slow. There are 2 girls there, Sasha and Kelly, who enjoy giving a show in the VIP room. Well worth the price and very enjoyable. They did 2 songs/dances for a total of $80 with plenty of pussy rubbing and licking.

Follow up review - I have visited twice more since my first time. Couple of thoughts - 1) They desparately need TVs in here. Since the first time I was here I have not seen any dancers on stage. You basically just sit there while all the girls come over and ask for private dances. Makes it hard to judge who you want to get dances with. 2) If you're looking for any semblance of privacy in VIP, go before 7. They turn the lights on at 7 - I was in the middle of some dances and talk about a rude surprise!

Not the nicest club I've been to, but the dancers are great and the vibe is laid back and friendly. I'd recommend Kelly, she's a hot brunette and gives a great lap dance, though YMMV as always. Sasha is another dancer to check out -- slim and petite with great assets. I've only been there in the afternoon since I used to work nights but it's not as stuck up as some other places in KC. The VIP section is a long bench but is fairly private. Since it's full nude the place is no alcohol.

Decided to check this place out as I like to visit all clubs in the area at least once. After reading reviews here and on scl.com, I expected to walk in, turn around and walk out. Place is relatively clean, especially for being in a downtown location. Arrived at around 5, and traffic on the street was lined up for blocks. So a little weird walking into a strip club in front of all those people. (Although much stranger coming out and getting in my car) Not too many dancers, looked like 4-5. One walked to me a table as I couldn't 2 inches in front of my face after being outside. She stayed and talked. She asked for a dance but wasn't pushy. I told her I would like to check out all the talent first. Couple other girls came by and asked for a dance, to which I declined (they were probably 3s or 4s). After I declined one "suggested" I buy her a $6 Red Bull. I hate buying dancer drinks, its just a scam by the club imo. So I declined. That seemed to piss her off. Anyway, there were 3 girls there that were 6s or above. One piqued my interest so I got a dance with her, very very nice. As mentioned in other reviews VIP area is not very private, but the dancers spread out down the length of the bench so you can hardly see your neighbor. Other reviews mentioned DJ and bouncer come in around 7, but they were there while I was getting my dances. This did not seem to slow anybody down though. All in all I left very satisfied and will be back again.

Temptations continues to perform poorly. Re: Gorgoyles comments about obese dancers. I think many long-time dancers have scaled back hours/days or left because of added bouncer oversight in VIP area (mostly at night, I believe) and management's apparent crackdown on dancers not meeting "production" and attendance goals.

The reason: TNT hopes to win city approval to remodel building and resurface as an upscale "Penthouse" club w/ increasing $$$$$, multiple VIP areas. Management cannot afford the bad publicity of having the vice squad find "illegal" stuff going on. So they willing to curb the long-standing practice of liberal TWO-WAY action for now.

This place has a problem with several obese dancers. I'm talking really big mamas. I know that some clubs like to cater to different tastes, but these guys have an overload of fatties. The other problem is a really obnoxious DJ.. This is a bearded old codger that just steps out onto the floor with mike in hand, stands in front of the customers, face to face and publicly and loudly HARASSES them for not leaving dollar tips on the tip area while the dancers are on stage. He does a stupid little laugh or smirk to make it sound like he's joking, but he just annoys the hell out of everyone. We are all grown adults and we know when to tip, and every time I've been there guys tip often for the good looking girls. Duh. But don't have an ugly rhino up on stage and then come bark at me for not tipping, and calling guests "financially challenged." Management needds to get this shit for brain fired. Also, for anyone who cares, in the several night shifts I attended recently there were more black girls than whites.

Went in on a Thursday afternoon after spending a couple of hours at Bazookas. First off, I was not thrilled with the $19.00 cover after paying only $10.00 at Bazookas. They said all drinks were free instead of only the first 2 at Bazookas (this is a non-alcoholic NUDE club) so I asked for a bottle of water but they said they don't do bottled water. OK, whatever, give me a diet soda. I sat close to the stage and watched an overweight black girl do a uninspired dance so I looked around the club. I would estimate 10 girls of which 60% were black and 80% were overweight. I had read on this site about the potential for 2-way contact here so I decided to have at least one lap dance to try it out before I left and sure enough the stories were true. Laps were $ 20.00 each. The first dance was fun with a lot of two-way groping. We moved to the darker corner of the lap dance area and during the second song she either stroked me (thru my pants) or kept here mouth on my cock the entire dance. This resulted in a happy ending for both of us ($ for her). Bottom line, I was in KC for 3 nights and this was my only visit to Temptations. I obviously had a very interesting result here but the ladies were younger, fitter, better dancers, and much prettier at Bazookas so I made 3 visits there. Possibly things are better here in the evenings, maybe the next time in KC I'll come back late at night, just maybe.

Latest visit was March 8th. For a busy Saturday night the weekend before the Big 12 Tournament activity here was pathetic. Listless dancers, a few too overweight to be attractive, and few customers.
A new wrinkle was the addition of a third male employee beside the doorman and DJ (whose booth overlooks one end of the VIP area). This fellow stationed himself INSIDE the VIP. It appeared his job was to monitor the number of lap dances for each performer. I'd heard management had set new $$ standards for the dancers and tightened up on monitoring them. The guy usually looked out onto the main seating area rather than at the lap dance area but his presence could be inhibiting to some customers and laodancers. Temptations MAIN (& some would say ONLY attraction is two-way touch in the VIP area.
Most of the girls were in the 5-7 range and the few customers there were not eagerly seeking laps.
This club continues to decline. Many of the previous honeys no longer come in on a regular schedule.

Went there this evening based on comments/reviews posted here. Nice club, very laid back, not a lot of pressure for dances. Paid $19 cover @8 pm, but got free (soft) drinks (I did not notice the metal detector until I was leaving).

Soon after I arrived, Heather came by and sat on my lap. She's a great conversationalist, but her solo lap dances only involve medium pressure. However, she likes chicks too & was great at pointing out other hot dancers & giving me their backgrounds. Had 3(!) very hot dances with her and Sammi (small, dark-complexion vs. Heather's pale, tall redhead) & although I was not as involved as I would have liked, the two chicks seem to have both gotten off on each other. As others have posted, the VIP room is about 20 feet long without much privacy.

Dancers range from 5-9 in the club. The night I was there, there were about 12 dancers to about 18 customers. Had a great time & will return whenever I'm in KC - it's only about 4 blocks from my hotel.

Dropped a point since my last review, mainly because of a change in talent. Newer dancers are, for the most part, not as sexy as before. Atmosphere remains the same, meaning some nights are dull and some are enjoyable. VIP continues two-way touch policy with much variation based on dancer and time of day. YMMV definitely applies here.
Recent newspaper article cited attempt by owners to upgrade the club to a "Penthouse" club by adding more space, either another level up or expanding next door. This plan has been floating for years, however, the article said new club would serve liquor. In KC that means no full nudity on stage. Considering that there is already a bar/restaurant next door this seems senseless since closest competition is Bazookas which is fully nude on stage juice bar and has a good bar/restaurant (Bulldog) next door.

Went here while I was out on business, and I have to be honest, I didn't know what to expect. Started at the bar connected to it, and we got in for free thanks for a few bartenders, look for O.G. at the bar and try to get him to hook you up. If not, you pay a $19 cover, which I don't know includes a drink, because I didn't ask for one.

Ok, so now I get in, and it's pretty small and narrow, with one stage. There were two 9's in the place, and an 8 that was a skinny girl no taller than 5'2 with natural large c's (I love the way they look on a small frame). I passed her by at first, but she came by a few times and wasn't shy about contact both ways, and this is before any lap dances.

As I have seen and heard many times, I always wear dress clothes to strip clubs. Usually it's because I am on business, but the lap dances are a lot better then wearing jeans. Sometimes it doesn't matter, but I'll get to that later.

Now at the stage they girls don't get close at all to you. They just stay close to the pole and come by after their set and thank you.

The lap dances are kind of strange. There is a room with a 20 foot long couch in it, and everyone is right beside each other. This didn't seem to matter to most, as two way touch was normal and was all around me. I am just used to booths or buying a vip room.
But I get a couple of dances from a blond (I think her name was naomi, but I could be wrong) and they were really good. two way mileage about the belt, a great grind, and little things that do the trick for me (ear nibbles, biting on my pants, etc) Oh, that reminds me, wear dark slacks. light ones get "stained" most times.

Ok to make the story short, I get with the spinner chick and its just about full service. I never bring condoms to the clubs, because I don't know if I would go that far, but everything else was on the menu. Best thing----- the dances are $20 a go, but because the girl said she came, she danced for 6 dances for me with completion for both (I wouldn't have believed her if I didn't touch for myself) and gave her a hundred, and she make me take $40 back!!!!!

I'll be back there for sure. The only negative is I was a little nervous because everyone was in the room, but the bouncer was a cool dj named Deacon and some 80 year old guy. Just the public factor was no good.

Monday afternoon, and this place is busier than I thought it might be, and more girls as well. Elisabeth was there, but she's now usually booked-up ahead of time apparently. You actually have to call ahead to get a dance with her. Got one before that was so and she's worth it, truly gorgeous. Stopped by here on a Friday afternoon, probably the most girls I have seen during the day. I would say at least 7-8 girls. Most 6-7 in looks, but a couple higher. I have never seen a VIP area as busy as that day, must be indicataive of a good time to be there. I had one dance with Brazil, huge rack and ok dance. But on the way out I saw a cute slightly older (early to mid thirties) girl that I had to have a dance with. Waited patiently and was rewarded. Tasha gave a great dance and was well worth the wait. Another great trip to Temptations. A bit high on the cover ($19), but the dances make up for it.

I went to temptations on a recent trip. Some of the particulars. 19 dollar cover with no Alcohol. Drinks like bottled water were 6 dollars. There were plenty of women and the penthouse pet was very cute but the rest were a 5-7 with no one higher at all.

Was at this club twice in the last week. First time was Monday Sept 17th and I did not get there until 2:00AM. Since the place closed at 3:00 I was surprised at least 7 or 8 dancers still there and even got two very good lap dances. The girls were really hot and the atmosphere was very laid back and cool. Was back again Sunday the 23th and OMG. At least 12 girls working. All of them good looking a couple were at least 8-10. Had a couch dance from Unique (a new girl) and Kennedy (or Cannedy)? Visiting KC on business and stopped by this club on a Friday before leaving town. Arrived about 3:30 and stayed for an hour and a half.

Cover charge, drinks, layout, etc. have been covered in previous posts. I was fairly impressed with the number and quality of the dancers. Generally, attractive, slim, with a few not so slim, lots of silicone on display, but some all natural, some enhanced, shaved kitties, the usual strip club fare. Still not bad at all for a day shift.

Got two private dances from a girl named Sunday. Nice tight natural body, but not the highest grind. Had four dances from Kelli, enhanced girl from Arkansas, and the grindage almost became painful. Small club with friendly environment, especially during the day shift. At 7pm the bouncer shows up and the VIP area gets patrolled pretty closely. Mileage during days is far better. Good club, especially for KC. If I have the time, I will usually opt to drive to Lawrence or Topeka, but if you are in the KC area, this is the best option. Expensive cover $19, but good dances. Stopped by Temptations around 4 in the afternoon and there were only 2 other guys in the club. Small dark with some chairs around the stage and some tables as well. I paid the cover and took a seat at a table trying to get a look at the dancers. The club is fairly small with a stage that has chairs aroundd it and probably 20 tables spread around the room. There is a private dance area that is separated by a 3/4 high wall. I had dances with 2 girls I forget their names, both were brunettes one was curvaceous with natural tits the other was slender with nice fake tits. Dances were $20.00. Both girls offered a great deal of touching, I could use my mouth on their tits and my hands could roam freely. The curvaceous girl let me do more and allowed me to penetrate her with my fingers occasionally. Both girls used their hands on my cock although I wasn't totally satisfied. The dancers I remember were not 10's other than Elizabeth but there were not any total dogs there either mostly 5-6's the slender dancer was more like a 7 or 8.

When it's good it's very, very good; when it's bad it's really bad. Review based on multiple visits; re-read previous reviews and experienced most of what was written by others.

Difficult club to rate because there's so much variability and little predictability (eg, good times of day or days of the week). I'll limit my comments to additions to what has been said.

PHYSICAL LAYOUT: Stage lighting is poor, tends more toward "spotlight" than even "fill-light" and is mostly in the white-blue color range with few warmer colors lending an unflattering appearance to most dancers skin tone and hair color. Stage seating is comfortable with edge of stage at patron's chest level. Other seating is also comfortable compared to Bazooka's metal chairs near their stage. Black walls and low light contribute to dreary appearance.

Entrance fee seems high but is good for all day with hand-stamp and includes unlimited soft drinks [full nudity=no liquor license in KC but their is a good bar-restaurant next door and another up the street] At nearby Bazooka's you might pay less to get in but get only two "free" soft-drinks then $3+tip after that.

Entrance fee IS high when you consider that there is lots of variability in number of dancers there at any time, day or night, weekday or weekend. No or few dancers. on some days. Even at nominal shift change dancers may be away eating dinner or show up as late as 10PM that evening to work to 3AM. 8:30-9PM seems to be when majority show up.

Dancer drink hustle varies and is $5 vs $3 at Bazooka's. LD hustle varies widely too, from very low to slightly annoying [vs very annoying at Bazooka's]. No waitresses, but generally attractive and congenial bar girls. DJ's in evening only. One, a trim dark-haired fellow can be very annoying and is given to taunting/shaming stage dance non-tippers. Given to manic bursts of energy & quick-tempered [directed at dancers, offstage]. Other sandy-haired DJ is generally laid-back, easy-going. Poor sound system, music generally loud when DJ's there; lower in daytime.

Agree, stage dances can be lackluster BUT there are exceptions even with same dancer from set to set, day to day. Stage dances at Bazooka's are usually better (arousing) but were lackluster on my last visit.

LDs are the reason to come here. Separate VIP. Entrance curtain usually open in evenings but drawn closed during day. Long bench, no partitions, moderately low lighting. Waist high wall separates from club, open above looking down on bar area & patrons ( patrons can't see your LD).

Generally, external two-way touch. As always YMMV by dancer. But at this club YMMV with same dancer depending on time of day or day of week. Depends on number of support staff on duty. Evenings, usually a doorman [& possibly off duty police officer or two - M/F] + DJ. Doorman also keeps track of how many LDs a dancer's done. POs may also look in VIP from time to time but also escort patrons or dancers to their parked cars for safety. DJ can look in VIP from his booth area.

During most days & some [early] evenings = no doorman, PO or DJ so bar girl not only serves drinks but works sound system, announces dancers and must keep track of dancers drinks AND lap dances as well as answer phone, On some days, dancers are on "honor system" & anoounce to bar girl when they start and finish LDs. SO...these are best milelage times since no one other than other dancers/patrons enters VIP. Had some really great two-way LDs in daytime and on some slow nights; just can't easily predict when.

General mood or atmosphere can also vary greatly from energetic & easy-going fun to tense or dull. Depends on dancer mix and what drama might occur among dancers in dressing area or between DJ and dancer(s). Seems to happen here more than at other clubs I've visited but not all that frequently. Generally, stable group of dancers but with some new dancers also coming on board. Just not very predictable when some dancers will work or time they'll arrive for shift [day or night].

Daytime favorites, Elizabeth (who IS a former Penthouse Pet from 1997), and another [late-twenties] blond named April, very sexy and sociable in oversized man's shirt, no bra, and lacy panties. Sasha with thigh-high fishnets, late afternoon thru evening [weekdays] gives very good LDs.

Evenings: Taylor, Peyton, Skye, Devon, all delight.

My overall rating is based on when it's very good and subtracts for lighting, physical layout, and variability/unpredictability.







I visited Temptations on Saturday 10/28/06 and enjoyed myself plenty. I danced with several girls and watched almost all of them on their stage rotation. The best stage dancers were Pisces, Taylor and Sky. The other guys seemed to all agree with me- along with the cheers they all gave throughout each stage dance. I received lap dances from Sky and Taylor, and tried to get them both girls together but Taylor was busy with a different guy. Sky was very exciting and I enjoyed the two dances I received from her. I danced with Taylor for several songs and then called it a well spent evening.

The club is a narrow rectangle with small tables and armchairs. The one dancer stage is at the back. The no-entrance fee, separately enclosed VIP room on the right contains one long bench with no partitions. Peripheral dancers can be distracting or desirable depending on the skill of your dancer. The owner keeps the temperature in the club at an unnecessary chilly and uncomfortable 60 degrees.

A slow Saturday evening (Sept. 23) with a few patrons and average dancers was redeemed by the arrival of several hot ladies around 9:00 pm. One of the hottest was Taylor, a petite blond with a trim sensual body and engaging personality. Several very enjoyable lap dances occurred with her. Skye was a fun dancer too.

A separate visit Sunday night (Sept 24) was not worth the cab ride. To describe the dancers as the B team would be generous. One dancer, Dolly(?) was pretty but stared at the wall mirrors during her entire stage dance. That should have been a warning; her lap dance was mechanical and detached with minimal contact. Brad Pitt and I don’t look alike, but I’m clean and presentable. A somewhat better lap dance was provided by Lilly, but cut short because she had to be on stage. That didn’t help my self-esteem. Overall, a Sunday evening visit is not recommended.


A return visit Wednesday (Sept 27) around 9:30 pm revealed an assortment of dancers spanning the spectrum in appearance. I greatly enjoyed individual lap dances from Taylor, Sasha, an attractive brunette with terrific thigh-high stockings, and Peyton, a tall, friendly blond beauty with Cyd Charisse legs.

I also had one of my best ideas ever – a request for a joint lap dance from Taylor and Peyton. It was guy nirvana. They were beautiful, amazing, and truly wonderful; an unforgettable memory from Kansas City to be treasured for a lifetime.

The dancers are from 1 to 10 in appearance, with some like Taylor, Peyton, and Sasha very attractive and fun to be with. Some pretty dancers are not enjoyable (see Sunday, Sept 24th). As with other clubs, I found courtesy and respect are appreciated by the dancers.

Man do I love this website; I would have gone all the way to Lawrence if not for the last posting about this club. I was in town on business and had free time on my hands. I guess I do not read well because I thought this was a BYOB, but there is no alcohol allowed period!

I walked in and it was long and narrow with a decent size stage (up high). It was $19 cover to get in with all the soft drinks free. There were about 10 girls ranging from 5's to 7's with two 8's, I was very pleased. I had dances with a few girls and every one was consistently well above average. I use to live in Tampa and all the dancers rival if not exceed the grindage that you get in Tampa. Hands went back and forth and every one was rubbing "willie" with there hands and mouth (outside my pants, I do not want to give the impression that there are extra's, I did not see any of that).The hottest looking dancer (I forget her name, but hot blond, 5'5", natural B cup, and is from Texas), gave me the most incredible dance. You must find her, her name began with a "D", hottest dance ever in my book.

This club rocks when if comes to LD's. I only gave it an eight because of 2 reasons. The atmosphere is almost that of a morgue, the dancers just sit there, not a fun environment. The other issue is security. He was a big black guy wearing a badge and gun, he looked like undercover PD. I asked a dancer and she said he is just security, but he would walk up to you while you are getting dances, and makes an outsider not very welcome.

Other than that I recommend this club as a must visit. Don't let the atmosphere fool you, GET A DANCE!!
