Stopped by on a Friday afternoon since they have just started opening up 11:30 AM on weekdays. Not sure how long the day-shift thing will last though since it wasn't too terribly busy. Nice relaxed atmosphere as always and about as good mileage as your going to find in Minneapolis (not enough, as far as I'm concerned, lol). Not many dancers, but I think they just started the early shift a week ago or so. Did see a particularly lovely petite dancer named Amore and she was beautiful enough to make me think I should check the new shift out again some time soon!

Went there one day while working downtown. Only 2 or 3 girls working at 5:45pm time I was there. They don't open before 5pm! Sat down with a girl at the bar and had the little chit-chat. She had some nice maneuvers with her hand around my crotch that made me want to try out the back area. The back area is dark, isolated, and has a TV playing porn over the entry way. For the $, this is the place where you're going to get the best action. The girls aren't always the hottest but your money goes further here than most in MN.

If you want to try take out, again your chances are better here than anywhere else in the MN area.

The stage area is lacking but the music doesn't bust your ears either. The drinks aren't as cheap as they are at the LampLighter, but probably standard for downtown.

I went to Augie's at 11:30pm. The dancers were a consistent...7.5 A very black crowd w/a few white dudes. But I didn't see a lot of dancers. The vibe was weird but fun. At first I notice a good number of lesbians but later their was a swarm, plus non-lesbian, I guess, hoochie mammas. It was festive and crazy but a little weird. There were a number of girlz there to see the girls and a number them there for "I don't know what". I did not partake in lap dances at my bar stool or in their VIP. I'm been there b4 and the VIP was very much by the book. There was better value in the dancers at your barstool which were 10 bucks the last time I was here. I have another week here so I will go back for 2nd opinion.

This is a fine place, a nice blue collar joint that's a little rough around the edges but not a total dive. In short, its a lot like the bars you went to in college, except that it has strippers. Dancers ranged from exceptional to ordinary or worse. The quality of the LDs seemed very good for Minneapolis.
I've seen this place characterized as a "black" or AA bar, and I am not sure whether that was meant to suggest it was dangerous or what. I'm not sure that the characterization is relevant, honestly, as it seemed more to be a place filled with friendly Midwesterners, a good many of whom were black. I would return.

I had a great time hanging with my fellow nupes in Minneapolis, the gurls in the club were both frisky and warm, there was quite a few fine ladies parading around the club giving tons of pleasure. Even the ladies who visit the club were game. I will certainly visit Augies again.

I always have fun at Augies. Like has been said before, it is nothing like the bigger fancy places but a great time can be had. There is certainly more contact available with the right dancers than at some of the other clubs in the cities.

If you want a room full of 25 10's with fake boobs this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a good time at a neighborhood type bar where you won't have a 500 pound gorilla punch your lights out if your hand slips and you accidently touch something that you shouldn't ;-) this is the place for you.

It has certainly improved from years ago when I remember one night watching a dancer sleep on the stage behind the bar. She was laying on the floor and once in a while she would wiggle her butt.

if u want to get away from the fancy places where you don't even get a decent grind, try Augies. I have found that the mostly all black strip clubs give u more grindage for the buck.

What a dismal place. They require your driver's license to be scanned before being admitted. It makes you wonder what kind of people go here. There were no dancers on a Wednesday afternoon, and only a few guys sitting at the bar. It seemed more like a neighborhood bar than an adult entertainment establishment.

Stopped in here on a recent Wednesday night while in Minneapolis. I was trying to get to as many clubs as I could, a very tough thing to do, but I gave it a try. I would echo some of the previous reviews. The beer was cold and the dancers friendly. Dancers mostly black, one asian that I saw, all personable. There was a "Texas Hold 'Em" poker game going which erupted into an argument with some calling out that one guy was cheating. For a while it looked like a fight would erupt, but all calmed down reasonably. I was told they do this on Mondays and Wednesdays (play poker that is), so keep that in mind when you decide to visit! Private dances are in small booths, generally OK. Not a great place decor wise, but seems to be a place to have a good time!

Went back to Augies last week. There were several new girls and a couple old friends. One old friend is Isabella. She is an Asian, who is very friendly and gives a nice lap dance. They still have three private booths, but they are monitored by a camera, so you can't get away with too much. Sometimes the dancers give a dance out by the tables. I like this place because it is low key and friendly. Seems to have a lot of regulars. Wish they opened earlier than 5PM / 6PM.

Been to this club about 8 times in the last month. This is mostly a black club with a few asians sprinkled here and there. About half the girls here are under 21 ( wrist band ). Joint opens at 5 and cover starts at 6 your clientele here is older white guys enjoying the younger females but mainly the gang-banging thug life, situated close to the corner of 5th and Hennepin so becareful coming and going. I gave this club an 8 because the girls put on one helluva show on stage. Sit on the tip rail and alot of times they'll extend the dance right to your lap. The private dance is in another room althought they have cameras generally security doesn't bother you doing your dance they allow the girls to perform the way they want to. Each time I've went I gotten at least one dance the girls put on probably the most provacative dance allowed in the TwinCities.

When entering the club, you have to go through a metal detector, which is kind of annoying, but I guess it makes you feel a little more comfortable once in the club. Most of the dancers working the night I was there were either black or asian, which I didn't mind at all. I would say they ranged from 4's to 8's. The club is a little small and crowded, but not too bad. I got a private dance from one of the strippers. Prices seem to be negotiable, and I was offered two dances for $35 or one for $20. I took the two dances, and then tipped the extra five. The dance was good. Plenty of contact (one way, she could touch me). Overall, not a bad club for being located in a larger city. In some of the other larger cities I've visited, they are very strict about keeping five feet between you and the girl, so it was nice to find a club that allowed some contact.

I think things have gone downhill lately. The 2 for 1 deals are not as easy to get. And the level of contact and mutual touching has declined. One girl said management has cracked down in the last 6 months. I know a couple of the naughtiest girls have disappeared. ... Does anybody know what happended to Facination? Or Twinkle?
